Presented in partnership with SAACA

On September 28, University of Arizona President Ann Weaver Hart announced that Oro Valley would be the new home for the UA’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program. The campus will also support a new UA initiative tied to One Health, a worldwide effort to address disease threats to humans and animals simultaneously and improve the health for both populations. Oro Valley has already become a hub for bioscience, with companies like Ventana-Roche, Sanofi and LCMS. The University of Arizona Oro Valley and the One Health movement will strengthen that reputation and advance us toward our goal of becoming a global hub for the intersection of bioscience and information technology.
