Meetings are periodically cancelled or rescheduled. To confirm your meeting, please visit www.orovalleyaz.gov and click on “Meetings and Agendas” in the carousel. On October 24, the Town of Oro Valley, in partnership with Pima County and the Regional Transportation Authority, broke ground on a new roadway project to widen La Cholla Blvd. to four lanes, from Overton Road to Tangerine Road. The project also includes multi-use lanes, traffic signals, multi-use paths, ADA facilities, drainage improvements, landscaping and accommodations for wildlife. This project is part of the RTA plan approved by Pima County voters in 2006. It is funded by a voter-approved, countywide half-cent transaction privilege (sales) tax, with contributions from Pima County and the Town of Oro Valley. The anticipated completion date is summer 2020. For more information, visit: www.lachollaimprovements.info.
