Thank you, volunteers!
ORO VALLEY MAYOR & COUNCIL Joe Winfield, Mayor Melanie Barrett, Vice Mayor Joyce Jones-Ivey, Councilmember Josh Nicolson, Councilmember Rhonda Piña, Councilmember Bill Rodman, Councilmember
Oro Valley is so grateful for its volunteers! Did you know the Town of Oro Valley has more than 250 volunteers who donate THOUSANDS of hours of their time each year to ensure that our town remains a community of excellence? In addition to serving on a board or commission, there are also groups that support the police, maintain trails, support arts and culture, volunteer in the office, work with youth and so much more. To find out how you can volunteer, visit the Town’s web page or reach out to the department in your area of interest and let them know you’d like to get involved.

Did you know the Oro Valley Council Chambers also doubles as an art gallery? Each month, the work of a local artist—or group of artists—is proudly displayed in Chambers. Whether you’re attending a Council meeting or just in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by and take a look at the tremendous talent on display. In December, we featured art from students at Casas Christian Middle School, BASIS Oro Valley Middle School, Innovation Academy and Canyon del Oro High School. In January, we’ll have another group of student work on display, so stop by!
