COVID-19: Stay vigilant! As you may have seen, the numbers of COVID-19 cases and related hospitalizations have continued to rise in Pima County and across the state of Arizona. As our state works to reopen stores, restaurants and facilities, we need to remain vigilant and continue practicing social distancing, hand washing, wearing a mask or face covering when in public spaces and staying home if we are sick. So while we encourage you to shop local and support our Oro Valley businesses, we also ask that you look out for one another and maintain those practices that will keep yourself and others safe.

What is Prop 480? On August 4, one of the items that will appear on the Primary Election ballots for Oro Valley voters is Proposition 480—a Permanent Base Adjustment. To help Oro Valley’s voters understand Proposition 480, an educational web page and video presentation have been created. Please visit the Town’s website at www.orovalleyaz.gov and click on the blue “Prop 480” button to learn more. Voters may request an early mail ballot for a specific election or they may request to be placed on the Permanent Early Voting List and receive mail ballots for all elections. The early mail ballots for the Primary Election will be mailed on or about July 8, 2020. The last day you may request a ballot by mail is July 24. If you are not registered with a political party, be sure to select a party ballot or select “City/town only” ballot to ensure you receive your Oro Valley ballot.
