Naranja Park Bond will go to the voters in November On November 7, 2017, Oro Valley voters will decide whether or not to authorize the issuance and sale of $17 million in general obligation bonds to fund the design, construction, improvement, furnishing and equipping of multi-sport fields, baseball diamond fields, a playground and associated infrastructure and amenities at Naranja Park, 810 W. Naranja Drive. The bonds would be repaid through a secondary property tax, which sunsets after 20 years. To ensure that Oro Valley homeowners and commercial property owners know what’s included in the plan and how they will be impacted by the bond issuance, the Town of Oro Valley has created the Naranja Park Bond web page, making it easier to find all information in one place, including a project overview sheet, list of related press releases, articles, maps and cost details. To access the page, visit www.orovalleyaz.gov and click on the large Naranja Park Bond banner at the top, or the smaller Naranja Park Bond carousel image underneath. You can also type “Naranja Park Bond” into the search bar.
