It’s an exciting time in Oro Valley Parks and Recreation, as we prepare to break ground on the Naranja Park Expansion Project, a multi-million-dollar investment that will bring exciting new amenities to this already beloved park. Although there may be a few minor adjustments to the final design, the park plans include new multi-sport fields, pickleball courts, splash pad, skate park, pump track, basketball courts, pedestrian walkways and trails, and more! Plans also include making the Musette Drive to Tangerine Road a permanent access point, including safety and access improvements. Mark your calendars for the official groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 31 at 9 a.m. Once work begins, you can stay up-todate by visiting the Naranja Park Expansion Project page on the Town’s website (scan QR code to visit). In the meantime, keep an eye out for the May edition of This is Oro Valley Podcast, which will focus on the Naranja project and will be available mid-May.
