Think you can’t dance? “We are specialists in two left feet,” quips Eileen O’Daly, owner and ballroom dance competitor at Mystic Rhythms Ballroom, which opened in a beautifully renovated Circle K store on Oracle at Magee last fall. Feet, bodies and minds work as one at Mystic Rhythms, where private lessons, regular parties and the exercise sweep clients off their feet. Dance is “a fabulous workout, and it’s phenomenal for the brain,” said O’Daly, who herself feels great because of it. “Dancing makes you happy, always happy.” People love it. “You can see it in their faces, in their bodies, in their attitudes.” O’Daly asks you to “take the time and the courage to take a class.” You’ll lose those two left feet, and just maybe find a new lifestyle.
