Exciting improvements underway at JDK Park! From August 27, 2018 through March 1, 2019, the Town of Oro Valley has closed the ballfields at James D. Kriegh Park (23 W. Calle Concordia), for major improvements, including new irrigation, new grass, laser-leveled fields, new fencing and dugouts, and upgraded restrooms. This project will improve playability and safety of the ballfields as well as efficiency of water usage. The closure applies only to the ballfields. Other park amenities, such as the playground, picnic tables, volleyball court, restrooms and dog park, will remain open. Stay up-to-date on this exciting project by following Oro Valley Parks and Recreation on Facebook, or by visiting the JDK Park web page at www.orovalleyaz.gov/JDKpark.
