A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT & CEO BRETT BATTERSON Greetings to you, our Orpheum Theatre Group family! It has been two full years since we have been able to offer an entirely new season of touring Broadway productions. The pandemic has had countless negative impacts on our lives, but it has also brought perspective. For me, not being able to attend shows has made me love theatre more than ever before. Now that performances have returned, I am more impressed than ever with the power that the performing arts has on our lives. Broadway productions are not only fun and entertaining – though they certainly are that! Theatre allows us to see and be seen. To discover more about one another. Through the magic of words, music, and movement coming together on a stage, we are changed. The best part is that we experience it together. There is nothing like enjoying the show with your fellow audience members and connecting with the performers on stage. There’s nothing like leaving the theatre at the end of the night with a renewed pep in your step or with the joy of having escaped into a new world for two and a half hours. This year, we celebrate all the amazing qualities that live theatre has to offer with a season of powerful stories and powerhouse performances. As you discover the incredible lineup of shows we have in store, you will notice stories of empowerment, stories of resilience, and stories of humanity. We offer shows that will make you laugh, make you dance, and even offer comfort. If you are like me, these things take on a whole new meaning after what we have been through since 2020. I cannot wait to share these stories with you – my fellow theatre lovers! I invite you to join us for the entire 2022-2023 Broadway Season by becoming a Season Ticket Holder.
