A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT PAT HALLORAN

We are excited to announce our next Broadway Season! With family favorites and some of the hottest Broadway Blockbusters available, this season truly offers something for everyone. Jukebox-inspired productions and movies-turned-musicals are all the rage. BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY is the world’s most successful rock ‘n roll musical and continues to thrill audiences around the world through Buddy Holly’s short yet spectacular career. FLASHDANCE and SISTER ACT bring unforgettable songs and familiar film characters to the Broadway stage. Due to popular demand we have also included one of the greatest musicals ever written, WEST SIDE STORY, and a new classic, WICKED, to the 2013-2014 Broadway series. And if you loved PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CATS, and EVITA, you won’t want to miss THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBER. WAR HORSE, one of the most magical productions ever staged, will make its Memphis premiere! And finally, THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony awards, including Best Musical. The best way to guarantee your seats is to renew your season tickets or become a season ticket holder! I’d like to thank you for your patronage and support. I look forward to seeing you soon at the beautiful, historic Orpheum Theatre.
