This is a 4 day course: 24 hours of instruction and 8 hours of certification evaluation. Instructor II develops the knowledge and ability to develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic, learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments. After completing the course the student will have met the sections required for Fire Instructor II in the National Fire Protection Association ® (NFPA®) 1041, professional qualifications standard. Students who successfully complete the certification process will be certified by IFSAC as Instructor II.
