This is a 4 day course: 24 hours of instruction and 8 hours of certification evaluation. Instructor II develops the knowledge and ability to develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic, learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments. After completing the course the student will have met the sections required for Fire Instructor II in the National Fire Protection Association ® (NFPA®) 1041, professional qualifications standard. Students who successfully complete the certification process will be certified by IFSAC as Instructor II. Key Topics: Application of the five-step planning process to emergency services training needs Creating learning objectives to address a specific task or topic Development of evaluation tools to measure student performance Development of lesson plans, audiovisuals, student handouts, and other instructional materials required to deliver emergency service training Methods and principles of supervision and management of a training program Target Audience: Emergency Services Instructors Cost: $250.00 for Oklahoma Emergency Responders* $500.00 for Out-of-State Emergency Responders* *Students must purchase the text, IFSTA: Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Location OSU-FST Classroom – Stillwater Norman Fire Department Tulsa Fire Department
