During the month of September, GPL is collecting letters and art for Operation Gratitude, and we’d like you to help! Every year, Operation Gratitude sends more than 250,000 care packages to deployed troops, wounded heroes, veterans, and new recruits. They include letters in each of these packages. They need lots of letters and they could use your help. Stop by the library, at any time, all month long, to write a letter. We’ll provide the materials and send the letters to Operation Gratitude! notes from the SUPERVISOR’S OFFICE 5209 Western Ave, Guilderland • (518) 356-1980 • www.townofguilderland.org Guilderland, NY - As we reach the mid-point of the summer season, I remind Town residents of wonderful outdoor activities and events in our Town. You may be familiar with most, but I hope that a few may be new, and all are worthy of a visit. The new pool house at Tawasentha Park is receiving rave reviews for its beautiful design and appearance, and its functionality including private showers and changing rooms, lockers, and upgraded concessions. Thanks to the Guilderland Public Library and Altamont Free Library, there is “Little Free Library” inside the pool house where you can help yourself to a book, and drop off books for the enjoyment of others. The checkout process is self-serve with no return deadlines. As we see how the new space works and consider comments, we’ll be adding other features to enhance your experience. After enjoying the pool house and other park amenities, you can walk to the Guilderland Performing Arts Center which has two remaining Thursday night concerts including the Guilderland Town Band on August 4 and NewYork Players on August 11. GPAC is located a short distance from the pool via the beautifully landscaped Ruth Lawlor Memorial Garden and pathway. GPAC’s concerts are free and start at 7:30pm. Just bring a blanket or lawn chair and have an enjoyable evening. The Town has an extensive park system and expanding open spaces that could take pages to explain in detail. An enjoyable way to explore some of the lesser used and more remote park areas is by using marked and mapped hiking trails. Our Town is blessed with abundant streams that can be difficult and expensive to safely and properly cross. In recent years, there has been a concerted effort to construct bridges and wooden crossings that have allowed for connecting separate and isolated trails into an ever-growing comprehensive trail system. A large portion of this trail system will also be available for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. Among the collection of notable crossings is the beautiful bridge spanning the Normanskill Creek which connects the hiking trails at Tawasentha Park and the Winter Recreation Area. The bridge is eight feet wide and 137 feet in length and provides a sweeping view of the rocky creek and wooded stream bank below. This vital connection allows for more than five miles of continuous trails including the trail that traverses the wooded rolling hills of the park, crosses the creek, enters a large open meadow, and loops back to the park. Over a recent weekend, Boy Scout Troop 50 spent hundreds of hours improving the trails and adding stone work and railing to the bridge. I thank the Eagle Scouts, troop leaders, and parent volunteers for their collective efforts which restored the trails and bridge to an optimal condition. A descriptive map of the trails is available at www.townofguilderland.org/sites/guilderlandny/files/uploads/tawasentha_trail_map.pdf. With enhancements to the new Town website, the information and maps will automatically adjust to your phone or other mobile devices. 4

Peter G. Barber - Town Supervisor Another recreational opportunity is mapped and marked hiking and biking trails that are maintained by the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. A large portion of the Preserve’s trail system is located in the Town and easily accessible at designated locations. The trail system includes a new bridge over the Hunger Kill that links the Town’s DiCaprio Park to the Preserve’s trail system. The new bridge is a 33 foot single span constructed of laminated structural wood. The resulting 2.9 mile trail is the newest and longest continuous trail in the Preserve. The new bridge allows access to Preserve trails south of the Thruway and west of State Route 155. The Preserve has over 20 miles of marked trails for passive recreation including hiking, biking, running, cross-country skiing and show shoeing. Detailed maps of ten trails and information about recreational and educational opportunities in the Preserve are available at www.albanypinebush.org or at the Pine Bush Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road (State Route 155). A n o t h e r significant crossing is the bridge that crosses a tributary of the Normansk ill. This new bridge, which was constructed by the developer of the Twenty West subdivision, will provide future access to large tracts of open space owned by the Town. The Parks Department is preparing access points and hiking trails that will allow for safely enjoying this open space. I close by thanking Town residents who have followed Town’s lawn sprinkling regulations. These efforts have helped our Water Department maintain water pressure at fire hydrants which is indispensable for our firefighters, and provide required quantity and quality of water. These goals can be achieved by continuing to follow regulations which limit automatic lawn sprinklers to between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on the odd or even day in common with the address of the property. Manual lawn sprinklers are limited to between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the odd or even day shared with the odd or even address of the property. If you have questions regarding the sprinkler regulations, please call the Water Department at 456-6474. I hope that you continue to enjoy the summer season by visiting and exploring your Town parks. Make Your Mark 2050 Western Ave, Suite 201, Guilderland, NY 12084 • (518) 456-6611 • www.guilderlandchamber.com
The View from Here... by Cheryl Lasher, President, Guilderland Chamber of Commerce I joined the Guilderland Chamber about 90 days ago. I’ve lived in Albany County since graduate school. I’ve lived just off Western Avenue for decades. I’ve done business in and driven through Guilderland countless times. For this job, I read up on the Town of Guilderland. What have I learned in 90 days? Chambers of Commerce are membership – people – organizations. Businesses cater to people. So what are the attitudes of the people right now? Many people commute to work and are happy gas prices are down. Albany County’s economy is based on government work and yet its growth is being fed by a field called nanoscience. The real estate market is vigorous due to low interest rates. That activity feeds retail stores which sell paint, furniture, landscaping supplies and more. So it’s a healthy economy which doesn’t seem to be in a boom-or-bust mode. There is, of course, a degree of uncertainty with national elections in the near future. The Chamber is in business for business. So how’s business? This Chamber is 80-90% small businesses. What I hear from business owners is about the burden of government oversight and regulation. Our business people also generally live in the area so they want to be good citizens. They want clean air, clean water. They want good roads and schools. However, it is still difficult to DO business locally. For example, they pay personal taxes, business taxes, health insurance costs, and collect sales taxes. All require different forms and different due dates. The businesses juggle all these details. They are also accustomed to dealing with constant pressure on their profit margins. It is difficult for business owners to see programs which give major tax breaks to start-ups and businesses new to the area as ‘business incentives’. Who pays the bill for those incentives? The same business people who have lived and worked here all along. They pay for their commercial space. They support all kinds of charitable organizations. Where is the help for the small business person? If how I have described small business is daunting, so is the reality. However, business people have some important perks. Each day is a roller coaster of opportunities won and lost. They can see and measure what they themselves have built. They are the captains of their own destinies with a tremendous sense of achievement and fulfillment. What have I learned in 90 day? I have learned the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce needs to work as hard as its members. We are here to provide businesses with opportunities to increase their commerce. We should help grow skills and knowledge. And we are their advocate as a voice for the small businesses which are the backbone of our economy and our communities. That is what we will work hard to do. 6

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SITTING THERE? By: Dr. Amanda Boccio Guilderland, NY - The human body is built for motion. Although a typical desk job may not seem as taxing as a profession involving manual labor, our bodies are simply not meant to sit for 8-9 hours per day. Sitting for long hours at work or school, living a sedentary lifestyle in front of the television or even slouching over cells phones, iPads and other technology encourages bad posture, which can wreak havoc on your muscles and joints. Chronic sitting and poor posture creates muscular imbalances in a very predicable manor, and is likely an underlying cause of neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain and headaches. Our muscles are very interconnected and work together to help us achieve proper movement. When we are locked into a sitting position with poor posture, certain muscle groups become weakened. As a result, opposing muscle groups have to take over the work, and become hypertonic or tight. The most common muscular imbalances caused by chronic sitting and poor posture is called Upper Cross Syndrome and Lower Cross Syndrome. Upper Cross Syndrome is easy to recognize: Forward rounded shoulders, slouched upper back, and forward head carriage. Think of your head as a bowling ball: If you hold a bowling ball against your chest with your elbows bent, you could hold the ball for a long time. But what if you hold the bowling ball out in front of you with your arms extended? You would tire quickly; your arms would start to shake‌ Imagine how much stress your neck muscles must withstand with a forward head posture! The Upper Cross Syndrome causes tightness in the pectoral muscles in the front of the chest, and in the upper trapezius and suboccipital muscles in the back of the neck. Subsequently, the muscles between the shoulder blades and the deep neck flexors become weak. These muscular imbalances
Lower Cross Syndrome is characterized by tightness in the lower back and hip flexors with weakness in the abdominals and gluteal muscles. An increase in lumbar lordosis (or arch in the lower back), protruding abdomen and hyperextended knees are common postural changes seen in those affected. Lower Cross Syndrome is a common cause of lower back, sacroiliac joint, and hip joint pain and dysfunction. Taking periodic breaks to stand up, walk around and stretch tight muscles will help to improve muscular balance and mobility in the lower body. You can stretch your hip flexors by kneeling with one knee on the floor and the other in front of you in a lunge position. While keeping your lower back straight, slowly shift your weight forward to the front foot until a gentle stretch is felt at the front of the kneeling leg. Hold for 20-30 second and alternate sides.

Dental Caries(tooth decay) is an epidemic, it’s increasing in all age groups. It’s the number one disease in the children in the US, it’s affecting adults and it’s an issue for seniors. Caries results from an imbalance between the risk factors that cause disease and the protective factors that keep people healthy. So how can we help people and get them healthy. One of the best ways to do this is through a Risk Assessment based model called CAMBRA(caries management by risk assessment). This gives us an opportunity to identify those risks for each patient, develop strategies in terms of their risk factors and recommend therapeutic products to get each patient healthy and to stay healthy. There are five recommended treatment components prescribed for caries management and help change patient balance. These are: pH neutralization, Antibacterial therapy, Fluoride, xylitol and Nano hydroxyapatite or forms of calcium and phosphate for remineralization support. These components are found in our CariFree products we prescribe and can be a life changing experience for some patients. This is our number one priority, getting patients healthy before moving into major restorative or cosmetic makeover procedures. So if your current home care routine is not working and you are developing new cavities we can help. We want to help you understand what the risk factors are such as biofilm challenges or salivary dysfunction issues based on the choices you are making. If your high risk today, you have a 88% chance of developing new cavities within one year if you don’t make changes. Through caries diagnosis, treatment planning and products we can break this disease cycle. This is what we are doing in our office and we invite you to join us. Q A k
with Tina Marie Clancy Tina Marie’s Dance Academy
Q. What year did your business start? A. I opened in October of 1991. This is our 25th Anniversary season! Q. Where are you located? A. 4 Charles Blvd. (Charles Park) Just 1 1/2 miles from Crossgates Mall Q. What is your phone number and website address? A. (518)452-1110 www.tinamariesdanceacademy.com Q. What hours are you open? A. Our September through June hours are Monday-Thursday 4:00pm9:00pm and Saturday 8:45pm-3:30pm Q. How and why did you get into the business? A. I’ve always had a huge passion and love for dance and teaching. Q. How many generations have been running the business? A. I am a first-generation studio owner, however, my family has owned and operated small businesses in the Capital Region for many years. Two of my children are active in the studio, dancing and teaching. Q. Do you have many regular customers? Is there anything specific that they are always coming in for? A. I am very fortunate to have wonderful customers, many of whom return year after year. In fact, I am now teaching the children of people I once had as students! In speaking with families, people are looking for a safe, rewarding environment for their children to learn about dance – at all levels, from beginner to competitive. Q. Are you known for anything special? A. We are equally committed to both our Recreational and Competitive Programs. We strive to be creative in our choreography and teaching methods.
“Our daughter has been a dancer at Tina Marie’s Dance Academy for 14 years and it has been an amazing experience. She has learned so much about perseverance, teamwork, responsibility, and has grown into a confident young woman and beautiful dancer. We are grateful to Tina Marie, her teachers, fellow dancers and parents for contributing to her journey.” ~ Mary & Scott Lawyer Q. Do you sponsor any local teams, if so which ones? A. Five years ago, I started an annual benefit show, “Reach Out”, a variety show features dancing and singing from our students and teachers. A true grassroots effort, my teachers, parents, and students roll up their sleeves to obtain sponsorships, silent auction donations, and sell tickets to raise funds. As a result of these efforts, I am thrilled that we have donated more than $50,000 to local charities in the last five years. Our charities have included, Albany County Correctional Facility for Children’s Benefit, The Miracle League of the Capital Region and the St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center. In addition to the annual benefit show, we host a dance-a-thon during the summer, and our dancers have performed at local nursing homes. I am committed to ensuring every dancer in my studio, understands they have a responsibility to support those in need within their community. Q. What do you love most about the business? A. Without a doubt, my students and their families. The opportunity to watch kids evolve from beginners into an accomplished dancers and performers is amazing! Q. What do you want the community to know about you? A. At the core of my philosophy, is the belief that dancing and performing presents many opportunities for children to gain confidence, to work well with others, to challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment, to enjoy and appreciate the art of dance.

Come to Guilderland’s Community Day! Guilderland, NY - On Saturday, September 10, from 11 am to 3 pm, the Guilderland YMCA, Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, and the Guilderland Public Library are partnering to give the community a new way to get together: think of it as a Block Party … for the whole town. Featuring Bouncy Houses at the Y, a puppet show at the Library, BBQ lunch at Our Lady of Mercy, concerts in various places sure to please one and all, and live-action displays by the Guilderland Police and Fire Departments, and the Western Turnpike Rescue Squad -- not to mention prizes and give-aways – this family-fun Saturday is going to be a wonderful time. The Y is holding an Open House that day! Feel free to come in and take advantage of all it has to offer. Bring your sneakers to play a little basketball, try out the exercise machines, and bring your swimsuit for a dip in the pool. The inspiration for this event came out of casual conversations between the staffs of the three organizations. Each held community events of one sort or another for their respective communities – Y members, residents and family members of Our Lady of Mercy, and library users. There is quite a bit of commonality between the three, so having one big event that would bring them together with others from throughout the town just seemed like a really good idea. So come on by. Park in the Guilderland Elementary School parking lot, if you can’t find a space at the Library or Y, and buy lunch – a BBQ Chicken lunch with all the trimmings! – in front of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. You can make a day of it!

WHO DO YOU LOVE/HATE MORE? by Margaret Tabak Guilderland NY - The most prophetic things any judge ever said to me about custody was “do you hate the other person more than you love your child? If so, you will do anything that hurts him/ her.” Consider: are your negative feelings towards the other parent greater than your love for your child? Many people come into my office and tell me that they want 50/50 custody; or primary custody. While for some families equally sharing time is an excellent arrangement, there are many factors to be looked at when determining what is best for a family. Here are some factors to consider: 1.
Responsibilities- Over the course of the lifetime of your child, have both parents been equal caretakers? This does not just mean the occasional push on a swing, but who does the nuts and bolts such as making appointments; taking children to the doctor; attending school functions; being involved with the child’s school and friends, bathing, dressing, feeding. If one parent has primarily done this, and you share custody, how are you going to divide up these tasks? Does one parent still bear the responsibility as “administrator” for the other parent? If you are not willing to do the grunt work, what is it that you are seeking in your custodial arrangement?
2.
Is this about money? - Many times the primary wage earner expresses to me that s/he wants to equally share custody in order to not pay or reduce child support. However, the leading authority1 in this area still provides that the full amount of child support is paid by the primary wage earner, even if there is equal custody. While there are deviations to this, many of those deviations involve sharing other expenses. Is reduced child support + other expenses =less support than you would pay?
3.
Spite – If one person has been the primary caretaker of the children, perhaps left the workforce to do so, or “lives” for the children, what would hurt her more than losing the role of primary custodial parent?
4.
Geography - Where will both of you live? Joint custody generally works best when both parents live in the same school district, so that the child is easily transported to school, either by car, or can take the bus to each parent’s house. However, if one parent is going to live in Albany and the other parent in Glens Falls, where is the child going to school? Will this impact the child’s ability to participate in extracurricular activities, visit friends, etc.?
Ideally, children should have the opportunity to spend ample time with each parent. The quantity may look different for each family, but the schedule should allow the child as much quality time with each parent as possible. Falling into a cookie cutter trap as to a particular schedule because you hear it advertised may not be the best thing financially and emotionally for you or your children. 1

TAX PLANNING VS. TAX PREPARATION BY
DOUG BAUER
Guilderland, NY - Many people focus their attention on income tax preparation at the beginning of each year, prior to the annual April 15th income tax filing deadline. While filing income tax returns in a timely manner is certainly a prudent strategy, it is often too late to engage in any effective income tax planning, as the year for which you are filing your tax return has already passed! Income tax planning should be a year-round activity. Here are some items you may wish to consider for tax year 2016: z
z
z
Ensure that you are on pace to make your desired level of employer-sponsored retirement plan contributions. For 2016, the maximum employee contribution amount to such plans is generally $18,000 per employee, plus an additional $6,000 for those who are age 50 or older. Additionally, many plans now offer the option to make contributions to a Roth account.
of long-term capital gains with no federal capital gains tax bill! However, please be aware that realizing capital gains may impact the amount of your social security which is taxable, and may impact eligibility for certain income-tested programs. z
On the other hand, capital loss harvesting can be an effective income tax reduction strategy. Taxpayers are allowed to claim up to $3,000 per year in capital losses, in addition to washing out any realized gains, as a direct reduction in adjusted gross income. For a taxpayer in the 25% marginal federal tax bracket, a realized capital loss of $3,000 can reduce her federal tax bill by as much as $750.
z
Consider “bunching” or “prepaying” future charitable donations through the use of a donor-advised fund. Such a fund potentially allows a taxpayer to take an immediate income tax deduction this year for planned giving which may not occur until many years down the road.
Verify whether you are eligible to make a taxdeductible contribution to a Traditional IRA or a contribution to a Roth IRA. You can contribute as much as $5,500 to such an account in 2016, plus an additional $1,000 if you are at least 50 years old as of 12/31/2016.
Please consult your tax preparer and/or financial advisor to determine if any of the above strategies are appropriate for your overall financial situation.
Taxpayers in the 15% or lower federal marginal income tax bracket (taxable income of $37,650 or less for a single filer, or $75,300 or less for joint filers) may wish to take advantage of the 0% federal long-term capital gains rate. For example, a married couple with taxable income of $50,000 could realize up to $24,900
With taxes, as in many other areas of life, a little bit of planning can go a long way. We encourage you to make tax planning a year-round activity, and not just the one hour per year you scramble to assemble your records for your tax preparer!

ESTATE PLANNING FOR YOUR DIGITAL AFTERLIFE
(Part 1)
Guilderland, NY - Most of us maintain some sort of digital presence by using online banking, downloading music and e-books, or creating social media accounts. Increasingly, items once considered to be heirlooms, like photos and videos, exist only in digital form. While the law is very clear on how personal and real property is distributed at death, it is alarmingly devoid of any guidance when it comes to a deceased person’s digital assets. Thee Uniform Law Commission drafted d and recommended to all 50 statess the “Fiduciary Access to Digital Assetss Act”, which would have given familyy members access to the deceased’s ’s digital assets. That proposal, however,r, has met with widespread industryy resistance over privacy concerns. As of this date, only 7 states have legislation n of any kind that deals with the digital al assets of a deceased. In New York, a proposal to allow an estate Executor or or Administrator to have access to o digital assets “in the same way ass tangible assets”, did not make it out of Committee during the last legislativee session. There are some digital assets an estate Executor should have access to (e.g. bank accounts); others (photos, emails), the deceased may or may not want an Executor or family member to see. Most of us do not read the license agreement that pops up on the screen when we create an account, but merely press “I Agree” or “Accept”. However, that licensing agreement is what controls how digital assets are handled when a user dies. To complicate matters, each company has its own policy. This article is a brief overview of some popular companies and their policies regarding digital assets when a user dies. Facebook It has been estimated that nearly 1 million U.S. Facebook users will die this year. Facebook is currently in the process of reviewing its procedures. Presently, Facebook has a feature which allows a user to designate a “Legacy Contact” to “Memorialize” the user after death. The legacy contact is able to do such things as post a final message from the user, share information about a memorial service and respond to new friend requests. There is also an option to allow the legacy to download what has already been shared on Facebook. The legacy is not able to log into the user’s account, read email sent to other friends or remove or alter past posts. To deactivate an account, Facebook requires proof of death of the account holder as well as proof of the authority of the person making the deactivation request to do so (e.g. copy of Will and proof of kinship or court appointment). Twitter Twitter currently does not allow account access to anyone, regardless of their relationship to the deceased. Instead, they allow an authorized person (estate administrator or family member), upon submission
of certain documents, to deactivate the account. Generally required are a copy of the deceased’s death certificate, a government-issued identification for the person seeking to deactivate the account, and a statement of that person’s relationship to the deceased. In certain limited circumstances Twitter will honor a request to have photos and videos removed, e.g., photos which might show the decedent being critically injured or dying. However, Twitter reserves the right to deny such a request if it decides that the newsworthiness of an event makes it “impossible” for them to honor the request. Amazon/Kindle Amazon takes a position similar to that of iTunes. The terms and conditions of accessing digital content are controlled by the end user license agreement. When you “buy” a Kindle book, you are really buying the right to download it for your personal use. You cannot pass it down to family or friends, you cannot sell it, you cannot donate it. However, the content is yours to use while your account is open, so people with access to your account could presumably continue using it. Apple/iTunes iTunes takes the position that it is the provider of a service, not a product, and the user has only a license to purchase the ability to use digital content. So by “buying” a song on iTunes, you are really just exercising a license to download it and listen to it. Restrictions in the licensing agreement (“I Agree”) prevent you from selling the content, lending it and presumably bequeathing it to someone when you die. The only way another person can log onto or manage your Apple/ iTunes account would be if they used your Apple ID and Password. As we will see at the end of this series of articles, that may present issues of its own. Next month we will continue with an overview of the policies of PayPal, Yahoo and Google/Gmail, a discussion of why simply leaving your user name and password to someone is not always a good idea, and explore options for arming your heirs with the tools they need to fully access your accounts upon your death. Now, more than ever, a conversation about your digital assets is an essential part of a comprehensive estate plan. Because this area of law is constantly changing, we recommend regular consultation with your estate planning attorney to make sure your plan continues address your concerns, accomplish your goals, and fulfill your wishes for your estate. www.guilderhaven.org FOR ADOPTION BATMAN is a super friendly, easy-going, active and playful one year old neutered male kitty. He is a small-sized cat weighing in at 9 pounds. He is an all-black kitty with stunning green eyes who loves to give you eye contact. Batman is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle your lap and be carried around in your arms. Batman makes sweet chirping noises to communicate with you and will meet you at the door when you come in. He enjoys human interaction and will want to be where you are in the house enjoying a family activity. Batman likes to sleep with his foster Dad every night along with the other kitties. He is loving, high-energy, yet easy-going and affectionate all in one! Poor Batman! We found him living outside over the winter in a colony with 15 other cats. A kind neighbor was feeding him and on the -17 degree day she turned on her dryer so the warm air from the vent could help keep him warm. Batman is so happy to be inside and has no interest in going back outdoors. The best home for Batman would be one with at least one young cat that wishes to play with him. He seems to flourish in a multi-cat home. He has tested negative for FIV/Felv and is up-to-date on his vaccines. If you would like more info, contact 518-461-0251 or brightsky@nycap.rr.com

“TANNER” is a neutered male cat, who was found in a back yard in January looking for food. When we took him in to be neutered, he tested positive for Feline Leukemia, therefore cannot be released back outside with other cats. He needs a home without other cats or with other cats who are Feline Leukemia positive. He is very friendly: likes to be brushed, loves to play w/toys, sat in my lap while sewing at the machine. I pick him up all the time. He had his Rabies Vaccine and Distemper Vaccine. He doesn’t seem to trust the foster dog that is downstairs w/him so wants to atttack the dog (they are separated by a doggie gate and Tanner gets to come out when the foster dog is out for a walk. As soon as he hears us coming, he darts back to his room. If interested in this sweet cat, please call Deb at 518-765-5007. TILLMAN is an extremely gentle laid back 5 year old kitty who had a very tough life prior to being rescued. He is an extremely handsome short-hair grey tiger w/ a white chest and feet. His green eyes will melt your heart when he rolls over to give you his belly to be rubbed and rubbed. Tillman was found living outside in the winter in the inner-city. He was scrounging for food trying to stay warm and alive. When he was rescued it was initially thought he had lost his one ear due to frost bite. However the vet feels he was born with only a partial ear. His hearing is just fine! Tillman enjoys other kitties and hangs out with the five other cats in his foster home. He is shy at first but quickly adjusts because he loves to cuddle and be out with the family. Tillman is a HUGE lover. He will want to sleep with you at night snuggling right up next to you or on top of you. He will wait for you in the morning along with the other kitties for his “wet food snack” and greet you when you come home. He loves to hang out and will look to you for words of encouragement. Although he has no interest in going back outside he enjoys watching the birds and squirrels from the windows. The best home for Tillman might be a quieter home where he can continue to feel safe and blossom. In return Tillman will reward you with lots of gentle snuggles.
