an we live without love? No, we can not. All of us need at least someone or something to share love with ! “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and to be loved”; this is how George Sand, a French Novelist described what his vision of love is about and I totally agree with her view. Love gives us a purpose, to love someone or something gives us the power to follow our dreams, it gives us the meaning of living, hope and it brings us happiness! ”Love is in the air”, is a famous saying, and I believe is actually true. Love is in the air and we do not even notice it. Love is present in every little detail of our lives, sometimes love lies in something as simple and common as a beautiful sunny sky in the morning or our neighbor’s nice gesture of waving to us before driving away to work. A goodbye kiss from our children before going to school is one of my favorite demonstrations of LOVE.

Sometimes our busy lives does not allow us to appreciate the love that surrounds us, so please, be mindful, keep your heart, eyes and mind open to those gifts that life gives us everyday and in the same way or even more important, please do not forget to be intentional every chance you might have to show how much you love your family, your friends, your neighbor, your coworkers and the children in your life. Children are sponges and mimic what we teach or show them, if you are intentional in your appreciation and demonstration of love, they too will be. February is the month of love and friendship so do not miss the opportunity to express this powerful feeling to those around you. You never know who’s life you might impact in a positive way by spreading LOVE! Happy Valentine’s Day!
