Spring Is Just Around The Corner

T

he arrival of the spring season is welcomed as a sign of renewal and progress all around the world. While we watched news reports of snow and ice storms ravaging our neighbors in the Northern states, we are fortunate that our Florida winter season did not bring any significant cold-weather periods. Now, as the temperatures start to climb, the ocean is slowly warming up and the beaches are calling our names again. We remember why Florida is the place we choose to live. With Spring Break approaching, why not spend some time enjoying the splendors of our Sunshine State. This March 2016 issue also marks the inaugural issue of our newest publication, Our City Aventura. It reaches 20,000+ affluent homes and businesses in Aventura, Golden Beach and Sunny Isles Beach. Welcome to our family! We hope all of our readers enjoy learning about what’s happening in your community and schools, and provide us with story leads on what makes our life in Florida so enjoyable. On this happy note, let’s enjoy all that Florida has to offer and let’s have some fun.

Here’s the “Shpiel” on This Year’s Purim Festival By Beverly Perkins

P

urim, the festival celebrated every year during late winter/early spring commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from antiSemitic Haman. He had the evil plan to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews. Fortunately his plans were ruined by Mordecai and his cousin and adopted daughter Esther who became the Queen of Persia. The victory then became a day to rejoice and to feast. There are certain traditions followed to remember the significant day. Those who observe the festive holiday do so by: ▸▸ Reading the Megillah also known as the Book of Esther which tells the story of the Purim miracle. ▸▸ Giving gifts of money to the poor. ▸▸ Exchanging gifts of food and drink with friends. ▸▸ Eating a celebratory meal. ▸▸ Dressing up in costumes and wearing masks. ▸▸ Reciting prayers. Since 2007, The Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center has taken these traditions and made them into theatrical productions. The Center’s “Shpiels” have included retelling the story by selecting the music of popular artists and groups. Past

featured artists have been “Abba”, “The Beach Boys”, “The Beatles”, “Jersey Boys”, “Grease”, and the infamous “Michael Jackson” with the Thrillah Megillah. This year’s “Shpiel” has Cantor David Muchnick and Cantor Marcos Askenazi ready to get their rhythm and blues on by featuring the Motown Megillah. They will present Purim with the songs, the story and the sound of the musical era. The Cantors/Directors created harmonies and instrumental tracks in which everyone is encouraged to participate in. Each song is also accompanied with a video of the original production projected onto three large movie screens hung above the sanctuary bimah. The event is free to all in the community who wish to celebrate the joyous occasion on Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00pm in the Soffer Sanctuary. Following the traditional Megillah reading, the Purim Party will continue with pizza, refreshments and delicious hamentaschen. Bounce houses, arts and crafts and groggers will also entertain the young guests. It’s suggested to come in costume and to arrive early arrival because a large attendance of over 500 is expected. The Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center is located at 20400 NE 30th Avenue, Aventura. To make a reservation for the Motown Megillah visit www.atjc.org or call (305) 937-1880.

Aventura Dentist Spreads Smiles Across Many Miles By Beverly Perkins

D

r. Arun K. Garg, founder of the Center for Dental Implants, is leading a team of dentists from all over the United States to the Dominican Republic for the 42nd time in his career. More than 25 of these dental professionals will provide a wide range of services to the Dominican Republic community who don’t have the means or access to good dental health providers. Regardless if the men, women and children need a simple cleaning or complex surgery, this group takes care of all of them free of charge. Dr. Garg, of course, practices the traditional chairside dentistry, but this is only one component to this talented and philanthropic individual’s impressive career. He is the founder and CEO of the world’s largest dental implant continuing education company, Implant Seminars and the charity, The Garg Foundation. In addition to his seminar and dentistry practices, Dr. Garg is committed to increasing the standard of dental care throughout the world. Besides teaching courses in the United States and abroad to the next-generation dentists, he treats thousands of patients in a state-of-the-art Dominican Republic training facility, which he conceived and built from the ground up. The Garg Foundation has made it possible to sponsor traveling missions to various countries. The most frequented visits are to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The city officials have been most grateful and extremely accommodating since their citizens are offered modern dentistry at the 26-chair

cutting edge location. Approximately $2 million dollars in free dental services are given on each trip and more than $25 million each year to people in need through the generous foundation. “It has been a gratifying experience to work with men, women and children of the Dominican Republic and to offer services which many of us in the United States take for granted,” said Dr. Garg. “Our foundation work has grown significantly in the last few years, and our trips are now monthly - with dozens of dentists joining us for these missions.” Dr. Garg’s passion for people is what motivated his entry in the medical field. He genuinely cares about his patients and has embraced the 21st century imaging techniques. He wants to share his knowledge and teach those who want to learn. His international reputation for educational excellence in the dentistry field has his former students following his lead as they travel with him. Dr. Arun K. Garg is the founder of the Center for Dental Implants, one of South Florida’s preeminent dental practices. With offices in Aventura, Hallandale and Pembroke Pines, Dr. Garg offers a wide range of dental services from routine cleanings to oral surgery and endoscopic dental implants. It’s Not Just Weight Loss, It is A Way of Life with Dr. Valdes’ Weight Loss Program Feature Story

By Beverly Perkins

O

besity has been on the rise in the United States with children and adults tipping the scales at unhealthy weights. This harmful trend can lead to a variety of long-term medical issues if not controlled. Many individuals cannot seem to take control of this type of issue alone and need assistance and guidance. This is where Dr. Valdes Weight Loss Program can help.

so that these healthy eating habits become part of the patients’ lifestyle by the end of the program. Appointments are given every 2 to 4 weeks to assure the medications and program are giving optimal results. Patients are seen by me every step of the way from the start of the weight loss program to the conclusion of maintenance.

Cristiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware and 3 years of training in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Florida. I have been involved in nutrition and weight loss throughout my entire career, but for the last 10 years have made it the sole focus of my practice.

How is it different from others? We use

and diabetes myself, I make it my mission to help all individuals that are struggling with weight issues achieve their ideal weight. Even more importantly however, it is mine and the clinic’s goal, to help patients not only lose but maintain their weight off for years to come. We believe that our clinic offers more than just weight loss but rather we are your partners in wellness.

a combination of FDA approved prescription medications with natural supplements that have been developed by me personally. This combination helps diminish the patients’ appetite and cravings, while simultaneously increasing metabolism in order to accelerate fat burning.

The program is physician supervised from start to finish and every visit involves some form of teaching, whether it’s regarding the topic of nutrition or exercise. The follow up appointments are every 2 or 4 weeks depending on the weight loss progress. Lastly, we have a “Customized Maintenance Program” that helps patients transition off the standard weight loss program and start the process of maintaining their goal weight.

What is the recommended weight loss one can expect?

Dr. Gerardo & Julie Valdes

Dr. Gerardo Valdes has a unique perspective on the topic of weight loss since he personally suffered from obesity for many years himself. Having a background in Internal Medicine, both surgical and medical, with 17 years of experience has allowed him the opportunity to understand the problem and find a solution. He is extremely sympathetic to his patients and their personal struggles. He believes that obesity is a chronic medical issue that needs ongoing treatment and support in order to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Gerardo Valdes, MD, Medical Director and Founder of Dr. Valdes Weight Loss, LLC recently took the time to answer some frequently asked questions about his weight loss program and practice.

How does your weight loss plan work?

There is an initial consult with me personally, where I will review the patient’s medical history, evaluate medical problems that can contribute to obesity and order initial blood test / EKG which will be done in the office . This evaluation helps me custom tailor a weight loss program that is best for each individual patient. Every patient is then given a weight loss manual that goes over the dietary recommendations of the program, as well as, exercise requirements. We like and encourage patients to eat real food

Although weight loss varies from patient to patient, the average weight loss that we see at our clinic is 2 to 2 1/2 pounds a week or 9-10 pounds a month. Some patients far exceed these numbers and others may go slower depending on their associated medical conditions.

North Miami Girl Next Door is Miami Dolphins Rookie Cheerleader By Beverly Perkins

M

Community news

iami native Stephanie became a Miami Dolphins cheerleader this past season. Born in Jackson Memorial Hospital, she has lived in South Florida all her life and is a graduate of Vineland Elementary, Palmetto Middle School and Palmetto Sr. High School. Currently residing in the North Miami Beach area, this outgoing individual has much to cheer about. Being a Dolphins Cheerleader may look easy and glamourous, but these girls have to be dedicated to an intensive practice and game schedule while maintaining a healthy active lifestyle and life outside the team. During the season, they practice three times a week for three hours each night plus another mandatory pre-game practice. In the offseason they take the time to rest and heal their bodies but still spend time rehearsing for local performances, charity events and military tours. “To be a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader you have to have passion for dance, passion for giving back and most of all passion for this truly amazing organization,” says Stephanie. “Next you have to have drive and commitment. Each day I go to practice, I try to become a better

dancer and a better woman not just for me but for all the girls on the team and this organization. It has only been my first season with the Miami Dolphins and I can honestly say I am so proud of the woman they have helped mold me into.” Besides cheering on the sidelines and volunteering with the team, Stephanie enjoys giving back to the community on her own time with her own family. Recently, they packed up food to help less fortunate families in need through the “Feed My Starving Child” organization. When not helping others, this rookie cheerleader works full-time for an aviation company in Doral and attends FIU Biscayne Bay Campus, where she is a part-time student studying hospitality management. However, she always manages to make time to work out at a local gym where her fitness family has supported her and her journey to become a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. When asked if she loves football, Stephanie responds by saying, “Growing up I had always been a Miami Dolphins fan. I remember when I was younger my dad and I collected Miami Dolphins football cards. We would attend Dolphins watch parties at the stadium as a family.”

What’s All the Racquet About? Pickleball Comes to Aventura! By Beverly Perkins

U

sually when mentioning pickles in Aventura, one thinks of the nearest deli. However, pickleball is not an edible item, but a paddle sport game for all ages, skill levels and abilities. Regardless of age, whether its players are five or eighty-five, the game is easy to learn and fun to play. Pickleball was actually invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, outside Seattle, WA by three fathers who wanted to create a game that would engage their children during the lazy days of summer. They wanted it to be a family-friendly, challenging but yet accessible game. After handing the kids table tennis paddles and a wiffle ball, and then lowering a net on their badminton court a new sport was born. The game caught on fast and people were making their own paddles and such. Finally in 1972, Pickleball was officially incorporated to give the sport a proper place and to keep up with the demand of the appropriate equipment. The rules are simple, and the fun sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and pingpong. It can be played both in and outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, paddle and a plastic ball. Beginners have been known to grasp the concept quickly and then develop into experienced players who want a quick, fast-paced, competitive game. According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s “2015 Participant Report”, the sport

has grown exponentially with 2.46 million players and facilities in all fifty states. In fact, just last month, The City of Aventura announced a new Pickleball class at the Community Recreation Center. The free class for Community Recreation Center members meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm7:30pm. The class consists of Pickleball instruction followed by gameplay which will allow players the opportunity to socialize, exercise and have fun. Hochberg Preparatory School Celebrates Generations of Family

School News

By Beverly Perkins

C

elebrating generations of family, Hochberg Preparatory School had their 6th Annual Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day. The anticipated yearly event encourages all ages to participate. A variety of activities filled the day for the 600 guests that attended regardless of the area they were visiting. There was something for everyone to enjoy from infants and pre-school to the elementary and middle-school classes. Hochberg Preparatory School is a Jewish Preparatory School committed to challenging high-achieving students to reach their fullest potential academically, morally and spiritually with a nurturing environment. The North Miami Beach campus serves infants through eighth-grade students within their three educational facilities: Early Childhood Academy, Lower School and Middle School. Built on a rich Hebrew and Judaic program, Hochberg Prep integrates their exceptional academics curriculum with the only STEM academy (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) program in a South Florida Jewish prep school. Always providing a progressive, forward-thinking educational plan to develop the adults, leaders and professionals of the future, programs such as Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day exhibit the institution’s mission to provide a supportive, nurturing environment which empowers students to reach their fullest potential. The morning began with a performance on stage by the students from Pre-K through Middle School. They greeted their special guests with song and dance in

various languages celebrating their heritage and culture. Following the musical program, guests were then escorted by the Middle School students, who served as Ambassadors, to the rest of the day’s activities in the classrooms. Each grade level shared their special gifts with their special guests. The Early Childhood classrooms decorated picture frames and included photos of themselves along with other art projects showcasing their families. The youngest children created books of their paintings with poems written inside. The elementary and middle school students were able to bake traditional challah to share as a morning treat along with their special memories in the projects they made. Some classes wrote their grandparents letters of appreciation and love, while others designed badges declaring their devotion. Middle school students constructed decorations to donate to JAFCO’s special needs department in honor of Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month as part of their community service project. Days like these prove that education isn’t always about reading, writing and arithmetic. Extended family teaches history, values and so much more, while showing endless love and support. Hochberg Preparatory School is located at 20350 NE 26th Avenue, North Miami Beach. For more information, please visit the website at www.hochbergprep.org or call 305-933-6946.

Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman

I

would like to welcome the Our City Aventura magazine to our City and wish them much success in communicating to our residents. I am honored for the opportunity to serve this great community and am committed to addressing your concerns, as well as maintaining and enhancing our quality of life. Many important projects and initiatives have been addressed this past year and we will continue to address all issues that impact our city in the future, in order to maintain our “City of Excellence”. Many of these projects respond to concerns expressed by our citizens and community groups. The following is an overview of some of the major projects and initiatives:

Message from the mayor

A Brief Overview on Major City Projects & Initiatives

Transportation Improvements

As a City we continue to explore alternative transportation opportunities to alleviate traffic congestion. Over 25,000 riders a month utilize the City’s free shuttle bus service to travel to their destinations throughout the City. This past holiday season a new bus route was added during the peak season to alleviate waiting times and provide for more efficient routes City-wide. Although the lack of right-of-ways precludes the addition or expansion of more road lanes, several turning lane projects have been completed to facilitate traffic flow. We are working with the Florida Department of Transportation to address traffic flow issues on Biscayne Boulevard and the area around Country Club Drive and the Lehman Causeway.

Pedestrian and Bike Friendly Community

This past year the City focused on fostering a more pedestrian and bike friendly community. Pedestrian Warning signs were placed at the intersections along Country Club Drive as a safety measure. This spring, they will be replaced by reflective flashing beacon signs. The Budget contains funding for new improved path lighting for the Don Soffer Exercise Trail which will be complete by this summer. The Florida Department of Transportation completed a project requested by the City to provide for bike paths along the Lehman Causeway that connect our internal system to Collins Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard. Some of our main roads have been converted to dual use for both bikes and cars. The City is in the process of negotiating with a vendor to provide a City wide bike share program that would allow riders to take bikes from docking stations placed around the City and return them to other locations. It is anticipated that this new service will begin in late summer.

New Park located on NE 188th Street

Next month, the City will begin construction on a new park to be located on NE 188th Street. This 1.5 acre park will include an open play area, two playgrounds, one for ages 2-5, one for 5-12 under protective screening, and an adult exercise area that will be open 24 hours adjacent to the waterfront promenade. This project speaks to our goal to provide additional recreational facilities for our growing younger population and addressed the needs expressed from our community. The park is scheduled to open in the early fall of 2016.

Drainage Improvements

This past year the NE 29th Place and Aventura Boulevard drainage improvements, were completed. This year’s improvements include NE 191st Street and NE 29th Place south of Aventura Boulevard. Over $1,655,000 was included in the budget for drainage improvements and a planned update to the City’s Stormwater Master Plan that will also study long-term impacts of the rising sea level on the overall drainage system. Recently the City Commission passed on first reading an Ordinance that establishes strict drainage requirements for shopping centers and commercial properties. This will insure that drainage issues are also addressed on private property to protect our residents, businesses and visitors. Again, I want to take this opportunity to thank the community for its valuable support as we address challenges and important issues on behalf of the future of the City of Aventura. As always, your input is important to us and we welcome your thoughts and ideas as we address these issues. Fondly,

Dedicated to the craft, culture and commerce of hairdressing.

Do Your Hands Give Away Your Age? By Charles A. Messa, III, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Ask the Expert

T

he focus of anti-aging procedures often rests in rejuvenation of the face. A person’s hands are often neglected, and therefore remain a tell-tale sign of aging. The hands are continuously exposed to environmental elements. There are distinct signs of aging seen in one’s hand appearance. Characteristics that are treatable with minimally invasive procedures include visible tendons, the bony appearance, visible/prominent veins along with skin pigmentation changes and wrinkles. These changes occur as a result of progressive thinning of the skin overlying the back of the hand with increased skin laxity and loss of soft

tissue volume. Rejuvenation of aging hands involves two distinct factors. First is treatment of the overlying skin to remove age spots, pigmentation, and skin wrinkling or laxity. Second is restoration of lost volume through soft tissue volume enhancement. Ideal hand rejuvenation is achieved by replenishing your skin’s lost volume. The only FDA approved injectable filler for volume restoration in the hands is Radiesse. This volumizing filler immediately provides the volume and lift that is necessary to diminish the signs of aging hands because of the calciumbased microspheres and gel that comprise this product. This filler acts as a scaffold BEFORE RADIESSE AFTER* RADIESSE beneath the *Individual results may vary. Female, Age 59, Fitzpatrick Type III skin after it is INDICATION injected providing the structure and stimulating your own natural collagen RADIESSE injectable implant is FDA-approved for hand augmentation to correct volume loss in the dorsum of the hands. See Important Safety Information. Provided courtesy of Merz North America, Inc. to grow. This process continues for several months after Radiesse is injected, extending the initial effect lasting more than a year to achieve long-lasting hand rejuvenation after a single treatment. By adding volume beneath the skin, Radiesse raises the skin level so that tendons, joints and veins lose their prominence. Radiesse is safe, effective and a non-surgical treatment which provides immediate smoothing of wrinkles, scars and replenishes soft tissue volume loss. Radiesse doesn’t require allergy testing. The procedure is done with topical anesthesia, with injections taking between ten and fifteen minutes. There may be minor swelling, redness or bruising at the site of the injection, which typically resolves within one or two days. The Radiesse hand lift is the latest procedure that utilizes microspheres of calcium hydoxyapatite to restore a more youthful appearance to the aging hands. Other procedures can be done in conjunction with Radiesse hand lifts, such as chemical peels and laser rejuvenation to reduce age spots and improve skin texture. Dr. Messa is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a recognized expert in cosmetic plastic surgery and has achieved Allergan’s Black Diamond Award as one of the top 1% of plastic surgery practices in the country by volume. Dr. Messa has also achieved Chairman status with Medicis and Mentor Corporation. This award honors distinguished leaders in cosmetic surgery for demonstrating expertise and excellence through a high volume of aesthetic product procedures. The certification is awarded to leaders in the field of medical aesthetics and demonstrates their commitment to innovation, excellence, and the highest level of patient care. ®

Dental Health is More Than a Nice Smile section Ask the expert head

By. Dr. Andrew Forrest, D.M.D., M.S.

B

esides having good dental hygiene for a nice smile, there are several other important health reasons to take care of one’s teeth and gums. Other organs may be affected and certain illnesses can occur if a good dental routine isn’t practiced. The American Dental Association has set standards for preventive dentistry. They have recommended that people should go to the dentist twice a year for checkups and cleanings because cavities and gum disease are preventable. Even if you take excellent care of your teeth and gums at home, you still need to see a dentist regularly. Your dentist can check for problems that you may not see or feel. Many dental problems don’t become visible or cause pain until they are in more advanced stages. Examples include cavities, gum disease and oral cancer. Regular visits allow your dentist to find early signs of disease. Problems can be treated at a manageable stage. People with a high risk of dental disease might need to visit every three or four months, or more. This high-risk group includes: smokers, pregnant women, diabetics, people with current gum disease, and people with a weak immune response to bacterial infection.

Several studies have shown that periodontal (gum) disease has a direct association with heart disease. Scientists say the inflammation caused by periodontal disease may be responsible for the link. Periodontal disease can also exacerbate existing heart conditions. Patients at risk for infective endocarditis may require antibiotics prior to dental procedures.

MARCH 2016 | OUR CITY AVENTURA

Diabetic patients are more likely to develop periodontal disease, which in turn can increase blood sugar and diabetic complications. People with diabetes are more likely to have periodontal disease than people without diabetes, probably because people with diabetes are more susceptible to contracting infections. In fact, periodontal disease is often considered a complication of diabetes. Those people who don’t have their diabetes under control are especially at risk. Research has suggested that the relationship between diabetes and periodontal disease goes both ways - periodontal disease may make it more difficult for people who have diabetes to control their blood sugar. Severe periodontal disease can increase blood sugar, contributing to increased periods of time when the body functions with a high blood sugar. This puts people with diabetes at increased risk for diabetic complications.

STROKE:

Additional studies have also pointed to a relationship between periodontal disease and stroke. In one study that looked at the causal relationship of oral infection as a risk factor for stroke, people diagnosed with acute cerebrovascular ischemia were found more likely to have an oral infection when compared to those in the control group. The Aventura Marketing Council is Searching for Super Stars Chamber News

By Beverly Perkins

T

he most anticipated event in Aventura was created in 2010 by The Aventura Marketing Council (AMC). Now in its 7th year, the Young Stars Showcase has become one of the not-for-profit business organization’s signature productions. The AMC has been serving as the community Chamber of Commerce for over 27 years and is the proud producer of the talent showcase. Similar to top television series searching for extremely talented individuals, the AMC is currently seeking talented young singers between the ages of 8 and 18 throughout South Florida for the 2016 Young Stars Showcase. Those interested need to apply with an online audition application at www.theyss.org by March 14th, 2016. Judges will review all applicants and those chosen will be selected to perform a live audition. For the past six years, each themed show features ten extraordinary youngsters in a grand production with a carefully hand-selected creative team. From the show’s directors, makeup and hair artists to a recording musical producer and a volunteer crew nothing is overlooked. The professional performance is produced in lieu of an annual installation dinner and benefits the AMC Education Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) charity which supports all their educational outreach programs.

A

t Zombek Orthodontics, patients are more than just another mouth, they are family. Dr. Steven Zombek and his experienced and talented staff treat each patient with compassion and care. The practice has a reputation for utilizing cutting edge technology in a courteous, professional and family-oriented environment.

Dr. Zombek explains what drew him to the orthodontia specialty and why patients prefer Zombek Orthodontics.

What made you want to be an orthodontist? I always had a love for science and origi-

nally wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, but decided against that because the landscape for medicine was changing. I started to explore other fields and after shadowing several dentists and specialists, I fell in love with orthodontics. I guess Dr. Steven Zombek the meaning of my last name foreshadowed my career path. While I was in dental school my grandmother conveyed to me that Zombek in Polish meant “little tooth.” At that point I knew I had found my true calling.

What is your training? I went to dental school at The University of

Pennsylvania. I completed my orthodontic residency at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine where I served as chief resident and received the Leo Davidoff Award for teaching excellence.

teeth cut treatment time by roughly 25%. While braces are still the most popular amongst kids, we treat a large majority of our adult patients with Invisalign. We have seen increased demand for InvisalignTeen which affords kids six free replacement aligners and has a color indicator to make sure that they are worn for the prescribed amount of time. Finally, we no longer take impression in our office as we use an intra-oral scanner.

What can patients expect when they visit your office? Patients can expect to be treated like family. From the moment they make the first phone call to the day the braces come off, they will receive outstanding customer service. They can rest assured that they will be treated to the highest standard of care using the very best materials and technologies available.

like to say that my practice is a family-friendly office. I spend a lot of time with patients and their families at the consult. I want them to feel welcome and have a clear understanding of what the treatment entails. I believe in an open line of communication with my patients and their families. In addition, we pride ourselves on being on time and not making patients wait.

Orthodontics, consults are complimentary. We take all PPO’s and our payment plans are very flexible as we know that braces can be an expensive proposition. We try to make it work for everybody.

What services do you provide? There are many modalities used in our office. We treat patients using both metal and ceramic braces. We offer the latest in orthodontic technology by offering Insignia. The custommade braces and robotically bent wires for more precise alignment of

INJURED?

“Rocky Balboa” Despite his tough appearance, Rocky Balboa, a 3 1/2 year old English Bulldog is pretty much a “Mama’s Boy” since he adores his favorite human mommy. He loves playing with a soccer ball and his human siblings. He likes to enjoy the relaxed South Florida lifestyle by chilling out on the balcony and sleeping on the couch which happens to be his all-time favorite pastime. However, he dislikes being awakened. He was last seen hanging out and begging for food.
