That’s why planeloads of northerners are arriving daily to take in the sun and fun during this Spring Break season. Why not take advantage of everything we typically take for granted? Pack up the towels, lounge chairs and picnic basket and spend the day at the beach. Head down to the Keys for some of the world’s best snorkeling and fishing. Or simply enjoy dining under the stars at one of the area’s award-winning restaurants. Now is also the time many families are starting to finalize their summer plans. If you have children that means picking the best camp programs. The choices are seemingly endless, with options for everything from traditional day camps to more specialized camps focused on sports, robotics, drama, arts and crafts, or learning a second language. Wherever your summer travels take you, don’t forget to take along your local Our City magazine and send us your picture. Civic Leaders Play Basketball With Harlem Ambassadors to Raise Money for Kiwanis Club School Projects BY JILL SHARPE
W
hile they may not have the name recogni -
tion of the Miami Heat, the Plantation Wantabees provided a night full of great basketball for a great cause with their game against the visiting Harlem Ambassadors. The game, a benefit for the Kiwanis Club of Plantation, was held on February 25th at the South Plantation High School (SPHS) gymnasium. The Harlem Ambassadors brought their unique brand of entertaining basketball to Plantation, dazzling the crowd with sky-high slam dunks, acrobatic moves, and amusing breaks in the action that brought laughs from the crowd. The Ambassadors have performed in every U.S. state and over 23 countries around the world. When they weren’t wowing the crowd with their in-game moves, the Ambassadors would go into the stands to pull fans out to the floor to dance with them. One can be forgiven for never having heard of the Plantation Wantabees, as the team was made up of civic leaders and local celebrities for one night only. Everyone came together to support the Kiwanis Club’s efforts to provide free dictionaries for every third grade student in Plantation, reading books for Kindergarten students and scholarships to high school students. Former Plantation Councilmember Rico Petrocelli served as referee, an unenviable task given the Ambassador’s hijinks. The team would argue with the ref over a foul call or use moves more likely to be found in a televised wrestling match against the Wantabees. The score was 14-2 in favor of the Ambassadors after the first quarter, but the important work the Kiwanis Club does to support local youth overshadowed the actual basketball being played. “I enjoy the people here that are bringing a positive message of family values across,” said SPHS Assistant Principal and Wantabee Herman Borja. “Principal Christine Henschel and our team are more than proud to be a host and represent Plantation and make our town proud of SPHS. The Ambassadors are as good as basketball players as they are as entertainers and the Kiwanis is a great cause.” The Kiwanis Club sold about 580 tickets and also gave away many more to children who otherwise might not be able to afford a ticket. Organizers estimate they have raised over $2,500 from the event so far to fund their educational programs. “I was really taken by this event, and we’re hoping to build on its success,” said Jim McGonigle, the Kiwanis Club’s Treasurer. “We had great participation from everyone, the Harlem Ambassadors worked well with us and the principals really enjoyed it. This sets us up great in order to provide enough dictionaries, books, and scholarships to the kids in town.” For more information on the Kiwanis Club of Plantation, visit them online at www.KCOPFL.org.

Plantation Residents Look Forward to a Host of Springtime Fun-Filled Family Events BY JILL SHARPE
O
ur neighbors to the north may look
forward to springtime purely for the weather but in Plantation, residents are looking forward to the annual Royal Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th, the Tinsel Town Cabaret on May 1st and a Teddy Bear Picnic on May 2nd. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Pop Travers Field, 6250 S.W. 16th Street . Hundreds of children are expected to seek out the thousands of candy-filled eggs which will be rolled out across the field. It’s a quick moving event so parents want to be sure to have their little ones there well ahead of the 10 a.m. start time with baskets or bags in hand. “We’re looking for great weather and having a fun morning for the family,” said Wes Lockard, the Special Events Coordinator for the city of Plantation.
The city is expecting anywhere from 450-500 kids to take part. Kids will be grouped by age to find and pick up hidden eggs. No one will leave empty handed as prizes and candies will be given to all participants. In fact, each child will receive a ticket and a chance to win additional door prizes after the race for the eggs. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos. “He just ordered a new 2 foot carrot to snack on that morning,” said Lockard. Volunteer Park is the location for this year’s Tinsel Town Cabaret. Local top rated talent of all ages is spotlighted in this competition. “This is a fun and
entertaining evening that the whole family will enjoy,” said Lockard. Tickets are $6 per person and will be available for purchase beginning Monday, April 27th at Plantation Central Park, 9151 N.W. 2nd Street or at Volunteer Park the evening of the show. Free refreshments will be served during the intermission. Call 954-452-2510 for more information. Finally, kids love bringing their lunch, a blanket or chair, and of course their beloved teddy bears to the Teddy Bear Picnic at the Helen B. Hoffman Library. Miki Ostendorf, Children’s Librarian, said the Teddy Bear Picnic has been a popular event in the city for almost 30 years. “Parents who attended when they were children are now bringing back their own children for this perennial animated storytelling event where children become part of the fun.” Refreshments are served and admission is free. For more information call 954-797-2140.

The Circle of Supporters recently held an intercoastal evening cruise, hosted by Bill Mahoney aboard the Bottom Line motor yacht which raised awareness and funds for the cause. ChildNet is the Community Based Care lead child welfare agency in Broward and Palm Beach counties. “It is because of the support and fundraising efforts of the Circle of Supporters that hundreds of foster children have the opportunity to enjoy going to summer camp or playing sports,” said Jeffrey Dwyer, ChildNet board chairman. “We are incredibly grateful for the impact our Circle of Supporters have had

Sarah Thomas, who grew up in foster care in Broward County was among the evening’s attendees. Thomas, a staunch advocate for foster children in Broward County, is now a graduate student at Nova Southeastern University and serves as a member of ChildNet’s Board of Directors. “Children in foster care need to know that they matter and having people in the community donate to give them a chance to be just another kids, means

ent kinds of personal injury cases over the past 30 years. The most common cases are related to car accidents, slip & fall, premises liability accidents and dog bite cases. However, if you have been injured call my office to get a free evaluation of your case.
Russell M. Thompson answered some commonly asked questions about his firm.
What do you offer that is different from other personal injury attorney’s? As a
How do you help clients with personal injury issues? My office helps individuals seek
the compensation they deserve as a result of personal injuries from accidents. As an experienced personal injury lawyer, I understand the complex legal issues surrounding accident cases. I will help clients understand their legal rights and aggressively, yet professionally, represent them. The goal is for my clients to obtain the compensation they deserve so that they can recover physically, as well as emotionally, from their injuries. I will provide the legal representation required to get the job done.
smaller firm you will not just be another case. If you call my office you will speak with me, rather than a paralegal or case manager. I know what is at stake and will do everything I can to fight for you to receive just and fair compensation for your injuries. You will have my full attention.
What is your background, qualifications and experience? I have spent the last 30 years
of my career representing clients in Broward County. I’ve worked hard to establish a reputation as a lawyer who practices with ethics and professionalism. I was elected by my colleagues to the board of directors of the Broward County Bar Association. I am also on The Florida Bar Traffic Court Rules Committee.
What organizations are you involved in? In addi-
tion to being on the board of directors of the Broward County Bar Association and a number of bar committees, I am a member of the Inns of Court and have participated in the Florida Bar Benchmarks Program. This is a program that trains lawyers to go out and speak to adult civic and community groups about the court system. I mentor young lawyers for the Broward County Bar Association professionalism committee. I am also involved in the business community as the Vice Chairman of Broward SCORE. I am a workshop presenter for Broward SCORE and teach the workshop “Legal & Tax Implications When Setting Up Your Business in Florida”. awards for Outstanding Pro Bono Service from Broward Lawyers Care and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida. I also do pro bono work for the Tracey McPharlin Dependency Pro Bono Project, providing legal representation to children within the dependency court system, the Mission United Veteran’s Project and the Legal Aid Hot Line.
What are the key things that people should consider before hiring a personal injury attorney? If you’re like most people, you would
not consider the prospect of handling your own case. Naturally, you want to find the best personal injury attorney out there. Personal injury lawyers cover a range of issues stemming from personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, and liability determinations. When looking for a lawyer you should concentrate on the lawyer’s experience, skill level, commitment, location and fee structure. For example, your attorney should be well versed in negligence law, know how to deal with insurance and health care companies, and know how to effectively prepare and take a case to trial (or settle if a reasonable amount is offered). Also, it’s important that you check the attorney’s background and references. Lastly, a good attorney will typically accept your case on a contingency or “no recover-no fee” basis if the attorney feels your case has any merit.
Do you offer a free consultation? Yes. In order to win a personal injury case it is not enough to prove someone was at fault or negligent, you must also prove the person caused injury by their actions or inactions. We encourage everyone to call and discuss their case to determine if it has merit. The law offices of Russell M. Thompson are located at 7771 W. South Plantation High School’s Paladin Players Perform The Addams Family Musical BY MARISSA STEINBERG, STUDENT WRITER
D
a na- na- na ... snap, snap! Almost every
person has heard that repetitious tune at some point in his or her lives. Whether they watched the television show, or made up a song of their own, “The Addams Family” tune has some connection to everyone. Within our community, however, this creepy family recently made an appearance at South Plantation High School’s Paladin Playhouse. As the show started the audience snapped along with anticipation to see how one of America’s most beloved television shows, could transform into a high school musical production. The show was directed and produced by Jason Zembuch, a prior Art’s teacher of the year recipient “We were thrilled to be able to put on The Addams Family as our musical for the year. It is the same show as the one previously on Broadway in New York City, and all the cast and crew was excited to bring the show to South Plantation,” said Zembuch. The set portrayed the mysterious mansion that the members of which the Addams family lives. Gomez Addams played by junior Jesse Castellanos, and his wife Morticia Addams played by junior Alexandra Moraru, opened the show introducing the members of their family. As the show begins the audience understands the struggles they will face as their precious and thought-to-be heartless daughter, Wednesday Addams played by senior Monica Aivazian, falls in love with Lucas Beineke played by junior Jermarcus Riggins, and the struggles they face to obtain the
label of being a “normal” family. As much as the family attempts to reach this status, the personalities of the Addam’s family over power that label. Grandma Addams, played by senior Shea Rogus, and Wednesdays brother, Pugsley Addams, played by junior Adam Ortega, share a special relationship that cause them both to act out against Lucas’s family. When the Beinke family comes to meet Wednesday’s family things could not have been worse. Mal Beineke played by junior Lucas Doytier, and his wife Alice Beineke played by sophomore Kelly Walsh, were confused and alarmed about the behaviors of the members of the Addams family. A whirlwind of events and emotions proceed throughout the night when the two families meet and the announcement of Lucas and Wednesday’s engagement becomes released. However, after some arguments, both families learn about the importance of relationships and acceptance of opposing personalities.
South Plantation’s theater productions are all interpreted in American Sign Language. While the actors and actresses are performing the production, they sign every word they are saying to appeal to the deaf community, and to appreciate the art of this language. As the musical component is essential in a musical, the production had a live pit on stage, where members of South Plantation’s band program performed all the music. The live music and the actors and actresses interpreting while performing, are unique factors that make South Plantation’s drama program extraordinary. The combination of the elaborate set and the repertoire of an old school musical allowed for extreme success. Marissa Steinberg is a junior at South Plantation High School and is the News editor of her schools newspaper.

Plantation High School came in first place in the Student Astronaut Challenge, a state competition held February 26-28 at the Kennedy Space Center. Junior Brian Alvarez del Real, Junior Ashley Cador, Senior Christopher Heinking, Senior Alva Kover, Senior Katrina Occhialini and Senior Sean Tromans outscored 14 other teams from Florida and Ireland in the competition that was sponsored by NASA. Students from Western High School in Davie placed second in the state. “Going to Kennedy Space Center and winning the competition was one of the most rewarding and satisfying moments of my life,” said Cador who was the Mission Pilot. Cador plans on majoring in biochemical engineering but says she has a strong interest in electrical and mechanical engineering. “After this experience I can honestly say that working for NASA or Space X is something I would really

love to do, if they’ll take me!” South Plantation students, with Coach Katherine Boutin, have participated all four years of the challenge, but 2015 was their best finish. The team came in second place in 2011. Heinking served as Commander and competed last year. “It helped me because I already knew a lot about the simulator, and had knowledge needed for both tests,” he said. Heinking said the critical thinking that was necessary for most of the competition would benefit him in his future career as a mechanical engineer. The three-day competition consisted of four challenges including a technical exam that covered four resources including one called Black Hole Math; a lab experiment proposal that dealt with a future Mars mission; an engineering challenge that included chemistry and physics; and three rounds of a flight simulator that covered a prelaunch checklist, launch and landing of a space shuttle including two rounds that had emergencies the students had to solve. The top five teams advanced to round two and the top three teams went to round three. Alvarez del Real also was on the team last year. “I felt this competition was perfectly in line with what I aspire to be,” he said. “I love space and everything that involves the science behind it. I actually want to be a physicist for NASA.” Working with the simulator was intense for the team, especially since it involved more than one round. “I learned that I actually perform really well under stress said Kovner who was the Mission Specialist. “I was able to participate without appearing to be under duress.” Advancing to the state competitions were the top five schools from three regions in Florida who qualified from the October Regionals. After the team found out it qualified for state, the members tried out for different positions. Student Astronaut Club president Occhialini said the competition was about teamwork, learning from each other and our coach, and having fun.”

American Heritage Students Win Regional Science Bowl Competition BY JILL SHARPE
F
or the third straight year
in a row, a team of students from American Heritage High School in Plantation won first place at the regional competition for the 2015 National Science Bowl and are advancing to the National Finals in Washington, D.C. American Heritage students Jared Shulkin, Samir Kahn, Kwesi Levy, Philip Gaddy and Francisco Rivera, the members of Team A, never lost a round in the tournament. This is the second time the team pulled off this extraordinary feat. Team B from American Heritage placed in the top eight and Team C, the school’s rookie team, placed in the top 16. According to the school’s Science Bowl coach Osmel Rodriguez, American Heritage has been fielding Science Bowl teams for the past six years. “We started with one team of five students and have grown steadily since our first year,” said Rodriguez. Rodriguez said the students begin training as the soon as the school year begins meeting 1-2 times a week for 2-3 hours. As they approach the competition they meet more often, usually 3-4 times a week, schedules permitting. Once the competition is over they continue to meet once a week in order to prepare for the following school year and to help their new members improve their knowledge base, develop a team strategy, and team chemistry. Many students take time out during the summer to read chemistry, biology, astronomy, physics books, and the like in order to expand their knowledge base. Students will be assigned a subject to learn more about and research. Then they

are expected to come back and educate their teammates. “As a coach my job is simple,” said Rodriguez. “I facilitate the teams needs, manage schedules, and manage the personalities of 20 plus students. I encourage them to practice good sportsmanship and to help each other out as I am a firm believer that everyone on the team is essential to our success, whether they are returning for the fourth year or if it is their first year participating and learning the ropes.” That belief is embodied by the students as they enjoy practices and everyone’s views, ideas, and participation is valued. According to Rodriguez, practices are part intense competition and part raucous laughter. “Ultimately, what I want out of students is for them to be gracious winners and or gracious losers and to enjoy the process,” Rodriguez said. “The most rewarding part of being the coach is listening to how excited they are for the next year regardless of whether Jared Shulkin, Samir Kahn, Kwesi Levy, Philip Gaddy and Francisco Rivera with the winning trophy. they won or lost.”

Cervical Disc Herniation: A Pain in the Neck that is Treatable Scott Robertson, MD - Cleveland Clinic Florida Neurosurgeon Cervical (neck) disc herniation is a common problem that is seen most often in people aged 35 to 55 years, although older people can have it as well. This problem is becoming more common as people spend hours each day with their neck bent to look at computers, tablets or cell phones. The spine, or backbone, is made up of a series of bones called vertebrae that are stacked to form the spinal column. Between the vertebrae are flat, round cushioning pads called intervertebral discs, which act as shock absorbers. Each disc has a soft rubbery center
made of cartilage like our ear lobe. A herniated disc – also called a slipped disc or ruptured disc – occurs when pressure from the vertebrae above and below force some or all of the “rubbery cartilage” through a weakened or torn part of the outer layer. Symptoms and diagnosis The symptoms of a herniated disc include neck pain, headache, pain radiating down the arm, pain or spasms in the shoulder, and numbness, tingling or weakness in the fingers are all signs. Herniated discs can affect anyone, but they are slightly more

common in men than in women. People who frequently lift heavy items also are at increased risk. If you have pain in your neck or arms and shoulders, your physician can order a variety of tests to determine the cause. These might include more familiar tests such as X-rays or MRI or CT scans. It also could include a myelogram, in which as dye is injected into the spinal canal before a CT scan. Another possible test is an electromyelogram, which involves placing small needles into various muscles and measuring their nerve activity. Treatment Most herniated discs improve on their own or with treatments such as physical therapy, steroids or traction. Putting ice or moist heat on the affected area provides some short-term pain relief too. When these steps are not enough, spinal injections of antiinflammatory medicine can reduce swelling and increase mobility. These injections are referred to as epidurals or nerve blocks. For more serious cases, a surgical decompression around the nerve root and removal of a small part of the disc which is pushing on the nerve gives pain relief. For extreme neck and arm pain, we can remove the entire disc, replace it with a bone graft and fuse it to a metal plate. Alternatively, we can replace the bad disc with an artificial one. These tend to last at least 20 years but are not indicated for older patients with multi-level disc disease or other mobility problems such as arthritis. Recovery from surgery Most patients spend one night in the hospital, then need to take it easy for about 2 weeks. Some need to wear a neck collar briefly, but most can resume normal activities in 6 to 8 weeks.

hat makes your morning coffee just
right? Is it the extra cream, sugar or maybe both? You know exactly what you like in your coffee....shouldn’t it be that easy to find the mortgage loan just right for you? Whether you are refinancing or purchasing, getting a mortgage is one of the largest financial transactions most of us will ever make. Make your mortgage loan process easier….Ask your lender the following questions: What types of loan programs are available? This is a very important question to ask. Not all borrowers are the same, so a lender that offers a wider selection of loan programs, which include a mix of conventional and government loans, will be able to match your financial profile to the perfect loan program. How much can I afford? Your lender will be able to tell you the amount you qualify for based on your income and the debts that appear on your credit report. While this information is very important, you must consider your other monthly expenses, such as food, electric and water. To get a true picture of what you can afford, work with a lender that has your total financial well being in mind.

What is the interest rate? Is it fixed or adjustable? This is the most important figure to obtain as you will most likely have this loan for a number of years. A loan with a fixed interest rate affords you a predictable amount of interest expense for your home. An adjustable-rate mortgage may be lower; however, the payment can be unpredictable. Discuss this with your lender. How much money will I need to close on the loan? Mortgages can include down payments and fees for various services that lenders and other parties involved in the transaction provide. Ask for a good faith estimate up front so you can plan accordingly. Mortgage rates are now historically low and houses are still favorably priced. Whether you are refinancing or purchasing a home, enlist the help of a professional in the industry. Mortgage professionals will help you find the right mortgage loan; Realtors offer the expertise on the housing market and will guide you through the process of purchasing the right home for the right price. Title Agents will ensure that you are the rightful owner of the property and Inspectors will ensure that your property has no hidden hazards or defects. Improve Your Teeth with New Technology By Dr. Michael Maruri
I
f you are looking for a way to make your
teeth look better, there are many new reasons to smile. Along with traditional braces, Clear Orthodontic Solutions is on the pulse of orthodontic technology. We offer a variety of new services that will dramatically improve the look of your teeth, often with less time and pain than traditional methods. Dr. Michael Maruri also offers Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, Ceramic (clear) Braces, and Lingual Braces. Invisalign and Invisalign Teen treatment offers clear aligners that are virtually invisible. Like ghosts working on your teeth, you can’t see them, but you know they’re there once things start moving! The aligners are removable, easy to clean, and allow you to eat whatever you want. For patients in need of more traditional braces, clear (ceramic) brackets are an amazing alternative. Clear brackets on the teeth are hardly noticeable and very versatile. Not only does orthodontic treatment give you a beautiful smile, it can also benefit your dental and general health. If teeth are poorly aligned, removing plaque and tartar by brushing and flossing may be difficult. A bad bite may result in fractured or excessively worn tooth surfaces, and the extra stress caused by a bad bite may even result in problems with your jaw joints. Straight teeth are less prone to decay and injury. Decay results when the bacteria in plaque feed on carbohydrates (sugar and starch) we eat or drink to produce acids that can cause cavities. Plaque can also increase the risk for periodontal (gum) disease. According to the Journal of Dental Research, harmful bacteria below the gum surface of crowded teeth invade the gingival tissue, harm connective tissue and cause inflammation. Straightening your teeth can make a significant difference in having a healthy heart and lower risk of diabetes. As for injuries to teeth, protruding upper teeth are more likely to be broken in an accident. An attractive smile is a wonderful asset. It contributes to self-esteem, selfconfidence and self-image – important qualities at every age. So now that the New Year has arrived, make sure your new smile follows close behind. We look forward to facilitating your transformation in 2015!

Slender Fit U Makes Dieting Easy By Debby Teich
S
lender Fit U is helping clients turn their
bodies into fat burning machines. They are losing 1/2 to 2 pounds of fat per day without exercise, diet pills or packaged foods, and they are keeping it off. The medically supervised program helps dieters modify their relationship with food and eating, resulting in an easily maintained, longterm weight loss. It is the last diet they will ever need to do. Geri Kelleher, Owner and Program Director, answered some commonly asked questions about the program. Why do people call you the “HCG Guru”? Eight years ago, I lost 25 lbs. on the diet and it changed my life. For the past seven years, I have helped thousands of people achieve their weight loss goals with this program. The best part of my job is seeing people change before my eyes and watching them get their confidence back. Geri Kelleher, Owner and How does Slender Program Director Fit U differ from similar programs? My clients tell me that the difference is the way we treat people. We stay involved with all of our clients; they are not just a number. If they miss an appointment, we call them. We make sure that every client gets the proper guidance and support throughout the program and achieves their weight loss goals. Also, we don’t water down the HCG. We give it in the strongest dosage for weight loss. We also give injectable prescription B12. How much can clients expect to lose? Clients can choose a 23-day program or a 46-day program. Women typically lose 15 lbs. in the 23-day program
and up to 30 lbs. in the 46-day program. Men typically lose more - 20 to 25 lbs. in 23 days and 40 to 50 lbs. in 46 days. What is HCG? HCG (Human Chronic Gonadotropin) is a complex amino-peptide protein that exists in men and women. During pregnancy, it is produced in very high levels and almost completely controls the metabolic function. In non-pregnant individuals, research suggests HCG similarly increases the metabolism. Does the HCG have side effects? There are no side effects reported while using HCG for weight loss. The amount of HCG used in the diet protocol is a very tiny dose. Because it is a natural substance, this program is completely safe. What makes the diet so effective? Unlike other “diets,” this program reshapes and re-sculpts the body by releasing abnormal fat deposits. Every pound you lose is a pound of FAT, which is very different from losing a pound of weight. You are not losing muscle mass, or water. You also lose multiple inches and dress sizes and your shape changes. Do clients keep the weight off? Ninety percent of Slender Fit U clients keep the weight off. After completing the program successfully, they support and rebalance their metabolisms. In addition to losing unwanted abnormal fat, they modify their relationship with food and eating, resulting in easily maintained, long-term weight loss. Are clients medically supervised? Yes. Every patient has a comprehensive physical with the medical doctor before starting the program, as well as one-on-one counseling throughout the program. This is included in the price.
A
pril Claxton recently
lost 40 pounds in only six weeks at Slender Fit U. She was anxious to share her story to motivate others to do the same. Why did you decide to lose weight? I have always been chunky. When I turned 35, my body started responding differently and I gained a lot of weight. I had difficulty breathing, walking and sleeping. I always felt swollen and tired, and spent most of my time at home on the couch. I have tried every diet out there. I was contemplating surgery, but decided April Claxton lost 40 lbs. in six weeks. to try Slender Fit U first. What were your results? I am 5’6. I started the program at 296 lbs. and lost 40 of them in only six weeks. I am excited to lose the rest. How do you feel now? In only six weeks, I am like a different person. I am now exercising and have gotten rid of several medications, including one for high blood pressure. I feel empowered, more confident and very sexy. People are looking at me instead of past me. I feel pretty and alive! Why were you more successful with Slender Fit U than other diets? I never had a real coach who supported me throughout the process. Geri answered all of my questions and helped me stay on track. She wanted me to succeed as much as I did. In addition, I saw instant results, with a 10 lb. loss in only ten days. When I saw how well my body responded, I knew I had found the right program.
Does the diet involve exercise? Exercise is not required and does not improve your end result. It is a scientific program and it is the combination of the HCG and the low calorie diet that produces the weight/fat loss. However, exercise is allowed.
Can you purchase HCG over the counter? No. Real HCG cannot be purchased over the counter. The HCG comes in both an injectable and an oral form from the pharmacy. Consultations are free and by appointment. For information and to see more before and after photos, visit www.SlenderFitU.com or call 954-423-1376.
Is the diet easy? To quote one of my clients, “Besides being the most effective diet I have ever gone on, this was the easiest diet I have ever been on. Almost every morning when I got on the scale, my weight would be down. No long workouts, no agonizing hunger pains. That’s how great this diet is.” What foods are on the diet? There are no packaged meals. You are eating real food from the grocery store that includes protein, fruit and vegetables. This makes it an easy transition onto stabilization, as well as regular eating and regular life.
Lost 30 lbs. in six weeks.
Are patients hungry on the diet? Eighty percent of people experience no hunger on the Slender Fit U program. They even find very tiny servings to be completely satisfying. HCG dieters usually feel as though they are stuffing themselves in order to reach that 800 calorie limit!
Lost 50 lbs. in six weeks.
