Cub Scout Pack 441 Hosts “Join Scouting” Night
ub Scout Pack 441 invites families to attend their Join Scouting Night at 7:15 pm on Tuesday, November 16th in the cafeteria at Sunset Lakes Elementary School. The event will showcase all that scouting has to offer for families with boys grades K-5. The Cub Scout program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Community service, camping, outdoor activities, games, ceremonies, and field trips guide boys through the twelve core values of the Cub Scout Program and give them a sense of personal achievement. Family involvement is an essential part of Cub Scouting and parents are encouraged to play an active role in the program. Pack 441 invites families from Miramar and Pembroke Pines to join them to learn more. Parents are encouraged to bring their boys, along with siblings, to the family-friendly event. “Scouting is an amazing opportunity to get our children from in front of their electronics and outside in nature.,” said Cub Master

Hugo Roberts, “We love that our families get to spend quality time with each other in a safe and healthy environment. ” Kids who participated in Cub Scouts are separated into “Dens” by grade and follow a curriculum that is age-appropriate. Pack 441 is a very active Pack, meeting three times a month during the school year, along with hosting numerous family fun events. Scouts participate in a number of adventures on different topics such as hiking, nature, science, citizenship, first aid, sports, and more. Adventures are earned as a Cub Scout advances toward their badge of rank. Once an adventure is completed, a Cub Scout receives recognition in the form of an adventure loop or adventure pin.
