How techno became the soundtrack to the reunification and regeneration of Berlin as a cultural landmark.
Tresor was born just after the fall of the Berlin wall, bringing young people from east and west Berlin together to the sounds of an exciting new genre emanating from Detroit. The exhibition includes material from the Tresor archive and memories from ordinary punters that attended the club.
This selection consists of material from Dimitri Heggeman’s private archive and Tresor’s archive, first exhibited at Red Gallery in June 2012.
