Welcome to Our Kids FYI, a resource guide created with families in mind, complete with information that can be utilized year round. With a relatively mild year-round temperature and attractions such as the Alamo, River Walk, SeaWorld San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and much more, San Antonio is a favorite destination spot with tourists. San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the nation. Additionally, the city is home to four-time NBA champions, the San Antonio Spurs, the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars, the American Hockey League’s San Antonio Rampage, and the San Antonio Missions – a semi-professional baseball team. This year we welcome arena football to the city in the form of the San Antonio Talons. The Talons suit up beginning in March and will play all its home games in the Alamodome.
