CLEAN, ETHICAL BRANDS AND PRODUCTS FROM HEAD TO TOE HOW DO YOU DEFINE A ‘CLEAN’ BEAUTY PRODUCT?
A product is considered ‘clean’ if the ingredients used to create it are determined to be ethically sourced, and can be used by people with no harm in the environment. Cruelty-free, on the other hand, is labelled on any products, and or ingredients used that are not tested on animals. I’m sure you want to know how long it took me to find all of these ethical and sustainable products and brands, right? To be honest, it took me less than an hour because I actually use most of them. I also have a saved tab on my Instagram account that is titled “Clean Beauty”. I create a new tab every year with new products and brands. I actually do this for almost everything I find on IG simply because I’ve been a researcher and analyst since birth. I like trying new things and I am obsessed with ingredients and seeing how well they work together to bring awesome results. Obviously, as an esthetician, this is a part of my job, right?
