Opening the issue, we have the charismatic Matthew Gray Gubler from ‘Criminal Minds’ expressing his fashion side with a “full brand” editorial from some of our favorite designers. Also on the cover, CBS’s ‘Under the Dome’ lead, Rachelle Leferve brings us a beautiful black story that will never go out of style, highlighting her gorgeous red mane. For the inside cover features, we present our Entertainment cover, the hard working David Anders, whom you may recognize from very successful shows like ‘Once Upon a Time’, and ‘Necessary Roughness’, but his fashion spread will give you another side of him. Our Fashion cover boy, Lane Carlson, who shot to model stardom by gaining recognition after shooting with Bruce Weber and headlining the Abercrombie campaign side by side his twin brother, Kyle, discusses another side; his acting side. We are also excited to have with us the one and only Bob Harper from ‘The Biggest Loser’ representing our Sports cover. As if his presence and constant inspiration on and off the show aren’t enough, we get to see his fashion side as well. And last but not least, Young Hot Hollywood... The cast of ABC Family’s hit show, ‘Baby Daddy’ graces our YHH cover. Chelsea Kane, Derek Theler, and Jean Luc Bilodeau lead this section right into our very first YHH yearbook; highlighting up and coming young talent that we are eager to watch grow. Enjoy the change in weather. Summer is gone but not forgotten. Let the change in weather and fall fashion guide you to be inspired. I know we are. m a d m a n A look inside Matthew Gray Gubler’s mind
At approximately 4:45PM, on another predictable sunny day in Los Angeles, I get an unpredicted call —it’s Matthew Gray Gubler’s publicist asking me if I was able to start our interview earlier; an interview that was to take place 15 minutes into the future. She informed me that Matthew had gotten off of work early and thought to call and check if an earlier start was possible. Having a hectic day already, I appreciated the gesture, and although I declined to start earlier than scheduled, I knew right off the bat I already liked this guy. He was thoughtful and prompt. No, more than prompt, he was early—and one being should never say anything less than positive about a person who’s early, rather than late. Having heard stories of what fun company he was a couple days back at his cover shoot, I was excited for the chance to have a conversation with Matthew, or as most of America knows him; ‘Criminal Minds’’ very own, Dr. Spencer Reid. When he greets me,

he does so with a long and loud “hello”—as if we had met; as if he was excited. Naturally, those two exact feelings materialized, whether they were true or not. I was excited, and thanks to him, I felt like we’d spoken before. The actor who has an online presence, close to that of Ashton Kutcher’s, is very active on twitter, as well as other platforms like, Whosay and tumblr. He even has his own website. Not the kind where you’ll find his resume and the latest shots of him caught offguard while getting coffee. Instead his site, like very much his life, is another vessel and stage for entertaining. “I don’t do anything out of necessity,” explains Gubler. “I only operate out of what’s fun. It’s great and it’s wonderful to have these platforms. Being an entertainer is kind of strange because in a weird way, someone’s listening or paying attention to what I’m putting out there. I don’t have to wait for a TV show or a movie, or any project to put myself out there. I get to hopefully make people smile, every hour if I wanted to.” Gubler’s tweets generate an

Gubler’s tweets generate an average of over 2,000 retweets, and favorites per tweet. With a twitter following racking up to over 500k, it’s not hard to imagine how quickly the numbers riseonce he puts something out into the world. His website, Gubler Land is equipped with music Videos, short films, pieces of writing, and also showcases a lot of his art—almost unexplainable but undoubtedly cool images he likes to describe as “Friendly Faces.” Like a true artist, he tells me his drawings are simply things that he’s made and that he’s proud of. Nothing more to it. His paintings range from that of a woman to a fictional animal playing a piano. There’s even one of him and a drawn out version of himself directly next to him, naturally the doppelganger’s arm a propped on Matthew’s shoulders. “When I started acting early on, I noticed there was a lot of down time. Being stuck in this plane where you’re being told you have no time, but really having a lot of time. It was something I could always be working on, and I sort of let my mind wander on that,” he explains. “The future is amazing. I’m so happy to be making stuff in this day and age. You’re lucky to have one follower, and to have someone be interested or entertained in what you do. All I want to do is entertain people,” he says with the upmost sincerity. Although he expresses having had his art showcased multiple times in galleries, and humbly succeeding, his first thought isn’t to organize a viewing. “I’m lucky to have a wonderful Internet presence. So when those people like my work, that makes me really happy.” With Matthew, he’s one of those people that it’s not so much about what he says, but how he says it. Or better yet his actions. Having said that, when he does have something to say, you’d be a fool not to listen. However, he’s not spitting out murder theories or mathematical equations or lab formulas like his TV counterpart.

“Spencer, in a weird way, is the reversed of me. He’s very brilliant when it comes to science and facts. In real life, I don’t know if I’d be able to hold a conversation with him,” jokes Gubler. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, life would take Gubler east to New York to study at New York University’s Tish School before he came back west to Los Angeles, ultimately falling into his niche. Four years later, he would graduate with a degree in film directing from the prestigious university. “I always loved acting. I grew up in Las Vegas, and that’s sort of the entertainment capital of the world, and I wanted to be a magician for most of my young life,” he laughs at the irony. Yet, Gubler somehow possesses that of a magician. The playfulness of one most of all. He continued, “I love acting, but I felt this sort of cowardliness. You’re an actor sort of waiting around for people to tell you that you can do something. That’s kind of the reason I started making my own movies when I was younger. I could control the movies; I could do whatever I wanted. I always loved acting, but you kind of tend to pursue the things that you have more control over, and then luckily it went back to acting. It’s been a real tremendous voyage.” With a number of projects under his belt, and over 100 episodes of Criminal minds alone, he’s doing quite well for himself, never letting it jade his personality though. “I don’t understand why I do it and how I do it, but I love doing it. And I’m thoroughly infused in it, like, my blood and everything,” he says referring to the meaning and creation behind all the art forms he takes part in. At 33 years old, Matthew Gray Gubler’s energy is almost radioactive. And at the end of the day, he’s a little mad— all the best ones are. But most of all, he’s too dimensional to be explained on paper.

And Mr. Bergeron isn’t the only one dying to know… Less than two months since its June 24 premiere became CBS’s highest-rated summer series debut in 13 years, ‘UTD’ has already snagged itself a season two (the Sure, she’s starring on CBS’s hit first episode of which Mr. King is writing), summer series, ‘Under the Dome,’ based not to mention sparked some of the most on Stephen King’s addictive 2009 novel of heated watercooler debates since ‘Lost.’ the same name. Something rather surreal happened to Rachelle Lefevre the other day.
“I was at dinner with friends, and I went to put some money in my parking meter. I see this guy, seated at one of the outside tables, waving me down. He looks vaguely familiar and quickly walks up to me, saying, “Hi! Excuse me… Tom Bergeron, ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ How are you?” We exchange hellos, and it seems like he still wants to know something. In my head I’m thinking, is he about to ask me to be on the show??? Then, before saying anything else, literally, the next words out of his mouth are, “What’s the Dome?”

Especially when it comes to the dynamic relationship between her character, tenacious reporter Julia Shumway, and mysterious veteran Dale “Barbie” Barbara, played by Mike Vogel. “Julia hates to be vulnerable and likes to ask questions and tell stories about other people, but she doesn’t like to be examined. who ironically can’t hide from each other.” Nor in fact, could anyone on the close-knit if slightly isolated Wilmington, North Carolina set. “It’s funny, we were kind of under a dome. None of us are based there, and everyone was really far away from their homes and families. We would have visitors from time to time, but essentially, all we had were each other. You work together all day and if you want to go to dinner and not eat alone, the only options are your cast or your crew. It really was this mini Chester’s Mill.” Except of course, they weren’t all trapped under a paranormal dome… Yet what is certainly a tragic and worsening situation for the residents of Chester’s Mill simply means more thrills and chills for fans, and the actress is happy to deliver the action. “I’ve always been really athletic and physical. I joke that they should write on my tombstone that my stunt double never worked, which of course isn’t true because there are some things that I can’t do, but for the most part I do get really competitive. I like to show my cuts and bruises and say to the boys, “Your stunt double isn’t working? Mine’s not either!” And she’s not kidding! Even though her cherubic face and Pre-Raphaelite curls don’t exactly scream GI Jane, the actress, who continues to heat up the big screen as well, dreams of one day kicking butt like one of her famous costars. “We were always laughing on the ‘White House Down’ set because people would constantly come up to me and say, ‘Oh you’re working with Channing Tatum (Lefevre plays his girlfriend in the film), it doesn’t get any better than that!’ And I’d say, ‘Yes it does! I don’t want to work with Channing Tatum, I want to be him!’ You hear that Hollywood? We’ve found your next action star.

Don’t let David Anders’ Norwegian cheekbones and Aryan features fool you. He displays certain tropes of my people — making me question if he indeed might have the soul of a brother. Consider this: he always looks oldschool, suited and sharp (kind of like Idris Elba), and although devilishly handsome, he’s often cast as the resident villain (‘Alias,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Once Upon Time,’ ‘Necessary Roughness’). Maybe he’s just cool like that, a blonde gentleman from Oregon that’s genuinely down with the swirl, or perhaps it comes from being raised in a wonderful rainbow tribal home of Josephine Bakeresque proportions. Either way, as we speak, I can hear The Spinners in the

He said he’d bring me out there on weekends. I’ll spend a Saturday fighting,” he says almost childlike with a lightning of excitement in his eyes. With 'The Tomorrow People' being Robbie’s first dive into the action superhero teen genre that has taken America’s youth by storm—Yet having done stints on practically every network known to an entertainment journalist, he’s found his stage at The CW, ready to embark on all the places this new role may take him, he simply says to me, “I’m ready to go.” JACKET BLACK HEARTS BRIGADE SHIRT FOREIGN EXCHANGE TEE JACHS

You’ve been traveling a lot haven’t you? Yes, I’m finally back to myself, I think. I’ve been traveling to Atlanta and Germany. So humid in Atlanta! Is it true that you did a print ad as Eminem with rapper Canibus for ‘The Source’ magazine? Ha! It was true! It was actually silly. It was when Eminem had the “Stan” video…and my friend’s company owned a clothing label. So we shot it with Canibus and me as Eminem. So you’re just friends with rappers, that’s handy. I was desperately looking for that picture online… They no longer exist, I saw to that (laugh). No, it was a long time ago so they would be hard to find, I imagine. Why are you constantly cast as a British man, and why are you so darn good at it? I think you just answered your question didn’t you? (laughing). The origin was ‘Alias.’ I’ve never even been to England. My ancestry is actually Swedish and Norwegian. I guess I just have an ear for it. I had to do four accents on that show. Then, after that, everyone genuinely thought I was English! Would you like to do more comedy? Actually that’s what I came out here to do, but you a play a villain once… and well you know the rest (laughs). You play a bit of a prick in ‘Necessary Roughness’ right? I do yes, I am indeed twirling my moustache again in this. But I’m not regenerating or a vampire…or a spy. Finally, I’m a human! Just you and John Stamos, such an ugly pair of humans? Nice try, but I’m not going to speak to that. Why not? In ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ it was the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, the actresses were stunning, but ALL the guys were ridiculous! Ian is a beautiful man, it’s true (laughing and being evasive). In ‘Once Upon Time’ the big reveal was that Dr. Whale was Frankenstein. What was the wink to viewers? Yes, I think everyone thought the name “whale” was the clue and it would be something to do with Pinocchio. The wink was to James Whale who directed ‘Frankenstein.’ Random question, are you down with the swirl? Not sure what that even means? Well, you get cast opposite the most beautiful black women ever to grace the screen, in ‘Lost,’ ‘Undercovers,’ and ‘Children of The Corn.’ Is that coincidental or do they know something we don’t?

Well, my girlfriend is an absolutely stunningly beautiful African American actress, but I think that’s just a coincidence. Are you still playing in The Band From TV? Actually, I had stopped, then one day I felt a presence on a flight, maybe a couple of weeks ago. It was my friend, [actor] Greg Grunberg, who, by the way, is a giant man, and he was staring at me. We got to chatting, and I’m back in the band (laughs). We’re doing a gig in August. What do you do in the band? Sing and play guitar. I actually grew up doing musicals as a kid. OK random questions, the last song you listened to was by…? The Spinners” just now actually, in the car. I like the way you handled yourself on Twitter about hanging out with your coworkers and the assumptions certain sites made… Oh, you mean Nina [Dobrev], right? She’s my friend, and Ian’s my friend, so that was just ridiculous… so I liked using acerbic humor to point out HOW ridiculous that was. You can’t take any of that seriously – that’s the good thing about Twitter – you can actually set the record straight, quickly and with wit. It was funny, I enjoyed it. Okay, final question: tell me the alltime worst, most shocking pick up line EVER… “I wanna make a baby in your mouth.” How’s that?

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D (ABC)
Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson, who you may recognize from a small 2012 film called The Avengers, isback with another team of superhuman badasses to serve and protect the good people of Earth. Just like its blockbuster parent, this show’s got Marvel and Joss Whedon behind it. Need we say more?
MASTERS OF SEX (SHOWTIME)
William Masters and Virginia Johnson are widely credited with kicking off the 20th century’s sexual revolution with their pioneering research into all matters carnal. Of course, as embodied by Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan in cable’s latest juicy drama, we’re sure that the sparks weren’t only in the press.
ALMOST HUMAN (FOX)
This paranormal thriller comes from the brilliantly twisted mind of Fringe exec producer J.H. Wyman and is produced by TV titan, JJ Abrams. To be honest though, all we can think about are its sexy stars, Karl Urban and Michael Ealy.
BROOKLYN NINENINE (FOX)
Police Academy by way of Scrubs, this sitcom, from two of the writers of Parks And Recreation, is worth checking out just to see SNL’s Andy Samberg sharing screen time with Homicide’s Andre Braugher.
TROPHY WIFE (ABC)
Malin Akerman scored as Tessa’s freespirited mom on Suburgatory, but on this comedy, she’s playing third wife to Bradley Whitford and new stepmom to his kids with ex #1 (Marsha Gay Harden) and #2 (former SNLer Michaela Watkins). Modern Family 2.0!
ABOUT A BOY (NBC)
For any lover of Nick Hornsby’s hilariously poignant novel and/or the stellar Hugh Grant film that it was adapted into – not to mention of David Walton, Jess’s dreamy doctor on New Girl, this is a must see.
RESURRECTION (ABC)
What would you do if everyone you’ve ever known who’s passed away suddenly showed up on your doorstep? ABC’s fascinating new drama has the potential to be the most moving series to explore spirits walking among us since TLC’s Long Island Medium.
THE CRAZY ONES (CBS)
And the prize for buzziest film star to hit the small screen this season goes to Robin Williams (sorry Anna Faris). On this laugher, he’s playing a head honcho at a hotshot ad agency corun by his daughter (Sarah Michelle Gellar). Mork and Buffy together – cue the collective fanboy sigh.
By Brad Liberti Alas, another season of beaches, barbecues, and binge viewing has come to an end. No need to fret: we have 10 cures for that summertime sadness…

The delightfully dark and raunchy 2011 film reignited Cammy D’s career and became a global hit. Hopefully the same success will greet this smallscreen adaptation starring Ari Graynor, one of the most consistently funny female onscreen presences working today. Not enough to hook you? Happy Endings scribe Hilary Winston is behind it. James Spader as an oddly quirky criminal mastermind with a smug grin and a devious plan…yes please! We do have one question though: when is Shatner making an appearanceon this drama?
PASS THE POPCORN THE 2013 FALL MOVIE PREVIEW By Adrienne McIlvaine There’s nary a big budget remake or a toy-based movie in sight, so it must be Serious Fall Movie Season. Here’s our picks for movies worth their $12 ticket prices…
“Prisoners” (September 20)
Canadian director Denis Villeneuve’s English language debut has all the hallmarks of a sleeper hit: Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman, a family in distress plot that tips over into vigilantism, and supporting firecracker Melissa Leo.
“Don Jon” (September 27)
A hit at this year’s Sundance and SXSW festivals, Joseph GordonLevitt’s latest turned heads with its frank take on love, sex and relationships in the era of ondemand porn and Instagram selfies. Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Tony Danza round out JGL’s mustsee directorial debut.
“Gravity” (October 4)
George Clooney and Sandra Bullock as an astronaut and a medical engineer drifting in space? And directed by “Children of Men” visionary Alfonso Cuaron? Count us in.
“Carrie” ( October 18)
Chloe Grace Moretz is quickly becoming one actress we don’t want to mess with. Her bloodsoaked update of Stephen King’s iconic high schooler is one of our most anticipated performances of the year, and we can’t wait to see Julianne Moore in fullon crazy mom mode.
“The Counselor” (October 25)
Michael Fassbender is a lawyer who finds himself in way over his head with drug traffickers in this dream team effort from director Ridley Scott and writer Cormac McCarthy. We’re taking bets on what kind of crazy wig Javier Bardem wears this time around.
“Ender’s Game” (November 1)
Orson Scott Card’s 1985 novel, about a sensitive young boy raised to become a fearful Earth’s savior, is both a scifi classic and a chilling account of militaristic might. Asa Butterfield looks appropriately battlehardened but it’s Ben Kingsley’s Maori inspired tattoos as legendary fighter Mazer Rackham that have us intrigued.
“The Wolf of Wall Street” (November 15)
Based on trader Jordan Belfort’s eponymous memoir, this black comedy comes courtesy of Martin Scorsese, muse Leonardo DiCaprio, and a host of highprofile supporting actors, including Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey. Even the trailer is a knockout, thanks to Kanye West’s bombastic “Black Skinhead.”
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (November 22)
The highly anticipated second installment of the dystopian YA trilogy, “Catching Fire” has a gamechanging plot that pulls no punches. Expect our love affair with Jennifer Lawrence to spiral even farther out of control.
“Oldboy” (November 29)
Debates about whether Park Chanwook’s vicious revenge flick even needed to be remade aside, we’re excited to see just how Spike Lee ups the grisly ante. Josh Brolin looks appropriately wildeyed, and Elizabeth Olsen continues her quest to become the one Olsen sibling who can actually act.
“Out of the Furnace” (November 29)
A gritty thriller set in the slowly decaying Rust Belt, this drama stars Christian Bale as a freshly paroled ex-con who risks everything to save his criminallyminded younger brother (Casey Affleck). We’d watch Bale risk everything to save his pet turtle. BELLO
THE X-FILES TURNS 20
Hiko Mitsuzuka Reminisces About the Groundbreaking Cult Drama It was the show that not only rejuvenated scifi, it practically gave birth to the genre of mythologydriven serials that allowed shows like ‘Lost,’ ‘Fringe,’ and ‘Grimm’ to exist and flourish on network television. Created by Chris Carter, ‘The XFiles’ introduced millions of people to what would become one of TV's most popular duos, Mulder and Scully the believer and the skeptic in the attractive forms of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, respectively. These two FBI agents investigated every proverbial bump in the night and outofthisworld freak show imaginable, and every week each case proved to be creepier than the last. This month, fanboys and geeks alike will be celebrating the Emmy-winning drama's 20th anniversary as well as cringing at how fast time has flown since that fateful autumn premiere on Fox. Picture it: September 1993. The pilot immediately sucked in curious viewers (this writer included) with its atmospheric, only in Vancouver locales and its eerie, minimalist score. Critics and journalists kept comparing it to ‘The Night Stalker,’ a shortlived cult show from the 70s. The show basically heralded an era of cynicism, doubt, and speculation otherwise known as the 90s. During a time when the POTUS had to lie about his indiscretions with a White House intern, and the Internet was quickly turning the public into inquiring voyeurs, ‘The XFiles’ fed a nation hungry for information and thirsty for truth in any way, shape, or form. Most of the cases Mulder and Scully solved (or left open) were truly terrifying. Eugene Tooms, the serial killer who thrived on bile and ate people's livers, was one of the first Big Bads that left an impression on viewers. The second episode of Season 4, entitled "Home," earned a viewer discretion warning for its graphic portrait of a family of inbreeders. And then there's the darkly comedic "Humbug," a Season 2 entry about the murders of circus sideshow performers; also known as the episode where Scully happily ate a bug. Chris Carter & Co. defied expectations, taking risks and breaking new ground with the narrative BELLO
style of episodic television. There was "The PostModern Prometheus," shot entirely in blackinwhite, "Triangle," which was filmed in real time (in one single take), and "Hollywood A.D.," a meta episode that skewered Tinseltown with its satirical edge. And in between the show's "Monster of the Week" stories was a vast and rich mythology involving one mother of a government conspiracy that I won't even attempt to summarize here. Let's just say it involved Mulder's dad and his abducted sister, Scully's sudden pregnancy, super soldiers, black ooze, and a guy who smoked a lot of cigarettes. Like, a lot. ‘The XFiles’ was my first true TV obsession. I collected magazine clippings and any random piece of material I could add to my 8inchthick scrapbook. And it didn't stop there. There were the paperback novelizations, the posters, the Tshirts, the XF-themed mixtapes my friend and I made for each other (it was a simpler, preSpotify time), the piles of VHS cassettes of episodes I accumulated, and naturally, the one convention I attended with my nerd buddies. When ‘The XFiles: Fight the Future’ was released in theaters during the summer of 1998, I ran to my nearest multiplex and experienced the ecstasy of seeing my favorite supernatural crime fighters on the big screen. However, I won't even touch the ginormous disappointment that was 2008's ‘The XFiles: I Want To Believe.’ (Come on, did that really happen? Or was that just a bad dream costarring Xzibit and Amanda Peet?) And then there was this year's 20th Anniversary panel at ComicCon down in San Diego, a momentous occasion for which diehard fans killed three hours waiting in line. Gillian and David never looked better. Debuting at the beginning of my last year of elementary school and concluding at the end of my senior year of college, ‘The XFiles’ had an impact on me, not only as an avid TV watcher, but as a writer. It taught me about character development, it taught me about running with one's freakyimagination, and it ultimately taught me the risks of wearing out a show's welcome (and creative juices) for two seasons too long. Regardless, some of the weakest entries in this pioneering drama are still stronger than what may pass for cult entertainment nowadays. Happy Anniversary, XPhiles.

DISPARATE YOUTH MEET THE CAST OF BABY DADDY : Three very different actors that are redefining The Sitcom, two babies at a time. WORDS DIO ANTHONY // PHOTOGRAPHY AMANDA PEIXOTO ELKINS
Producers must’ve heard heaven’s bells ring when Chelsea Kane, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, and Derek Theler walked into the room; each one holding their prospective sides of the script for what would’ve been just another audition during pilot season. The time of year in LA when actors scurry the streets, and the only thing on their mind is the idea of being cast in a project. Two seasons later, and another on the way, America is in love, as is anyone that is in the presence of the trio—who’s chemistry and bond couldn’t be more apparent. Lucky me to have been in the company of not one, but all three, all in one room. Derek and Jean-Luc’s outfits coordinate without intent, and Chelsea, such a chameleon, makes you instantly at ease. A comedian in her own right, she looks all but the part of the run-of-the-mill funny girl. Sporting an almost Mia Farrow-esque circa Rosemary’s Baby pixie cut, the 24 year old is no stranger when it comes to bringing in the laughs. It’s no wonder, to date, 'Baby Daddy' is the 3rd television comedy under her belt. Jean-Luc, the sitcom’s title character, seems to be a good luck charm—having been on the hit series 'KYLE XY', and bringing the buzz and success over to the ABC family’s 'Baby Daddy'. Along with Derek, the spitting image of what Hollywood wants you to think a Football player looks like. Except he’s defying Hollywood, playing Danny Wheeler, funny and sweet brother to Jean-Luc’s Ben character. In a time where Comedy isn’t the go-to program for teens and young adults, where teens go for the melodramatic soaps instead, 'Baby Daddy' lets the world know that old-fashioned sitcoms can still be done, and succeed. Surpassing the 12 episode season series, which if lucky quickly gets thrown into cult classic territory. And although now a days, indie cult classic… anything is all the rage, 'Baby Daddy' reminds us why sitcoms ruled the television world decades back. The series was picked up for a third season before completing it’s second, and the pilot episode alone foretells such an outcome—bringing the three men and a baby trick to a new generation, and making it a weekly program, not a feature film. “We're all so different from each other, and I think it somehow helps us connect so well. We bring something new to the table. Our job is to have fun and joke around with each other,” says Bilodeau. “It all happened really quickly,” Kane assures us, referring to the build up of their chemistry, both on and off BELLO
set. “These guys live with each-other,” she adds. Jean-Luc and Derek moved in with each other midway into the second season of the show. “Being on a sitcom, let alone, 'Baby Daddy' was the last thing I thought I’d be doing when I moved to LA to get this acting thing started.” Born in Colorado, Theler graduated from the state’s university with a degree in pre-medicine. A skillset that would probably come in handy when dealing with Emma, the baby which the show is based on. “I love it. It's great. It's so much fun. My schedule's amazing. I live across the street from the studio, with my TV brother,” he says cheerfully. “I love that energy", chimes in Kane. “Something within you changes when there's lights and people watching. We shoot in the evening. I's much more fun to do a scene at six at night with a great crowd on a Friday than at six in the morning. As a cast, to hangout and rehearse all week with the pressure off and no cameras on, it gives us a chance to get to know each other better.” Instantly I believe her, finding that the very reason for why they tend to at times complete each-other’s sentences, like best friends discussing their favorite memories. They seem to know each other so well, that they can’t help but finish what one another is saying. Most fans must figure a set of twins play baby Emma, but they might be surprised to learn that during its run, the cast has gone through three sets of twins, and by the looks of it, that number will grow. “Our first babies are probably two years old right now. They grow so fast, in that small period of about 6 months to a year and a half they grow so much,” says Jean-Luc. Kane adds that it’s not easy to keep a toddler on a mark once they’re capable of walking. But constantly parting ways with babies doesn’t spoil the fun for the bigger kids on the show. “Working with babies brings a different element to the scene. You have a living human in your hands that doesn't know what it's supposed to be doing. And you have to get to the end of the scene no matter what the baby does,” says Theler, who’s had his fair share of tapings and rehearsals in that situation. “I love it because the babies make me so funny in scenes where I should not be that funny,” says Kane. “I love what they add. Sometimes you feel like they do know they're at work and laugh in the right moment. It definitely makes for a fun work environment. To

watch all these crew guys do anything to make these little girls smile. There have been days on set where we literally have the whole crew singing Old McDonald.” Aside from the fact that the two “Emmas” have an entire team catering to their every need, and they don’t actually have a call-time. Enabling them to wake up whenever they want, as well as do whatever they want, whenever they please, the babies have left their individual marks, and have impacted the show’s stars. “I haven't had to change one diaper since I’ve worked on the show,” says Bilodeau. “I feel like this show has given me the best possible birth control I could ever have. It's already a hard job, even though we're not changing diapers or putting them to bed, it's still like there's a lot of responsibility involved.” His cast mates don’t exactly disagree. “This is the most unfair introduction to child care,” says Kane. “Just because I know when it's my own, I’m going to be like "this is really hard". They’ll cry a lot, they wont have an amazing closet full on little tutus,” she says not being able to hold her laugh. “That might be just the girly side of me though.” Baby Emma isn’t the only one to blame for unexpected occurrences on set though, Theler’s height, which stops him from fitting through doorways most of the time, naturally adds to the mix when talking about on-set antics. Kane recalls a particular experience; “On the set we used to have a pull up bar, just for set dressing, and the guys would use it once and a while. One night we were filming and Derek just wasn't paying attention, looking down, and he clotheslined himself on the bar. It was awesome.” There’s no denying Theler surpasses normal height standards, but it’s good to know his height is still very much a joke, to both him and his castmates. “Whenever I go to an event or a [red] carpet, I always take a photo from the perspective of someone who's really tall compared to me. All you can see in the photo is the top of my head and my eyes and what's going on behind me at the moment.” “Derek just wants a friend taller than him,” kids Jean-luc. “I want a buddy that I can look up to. It's very hard to find one of those people,” says Theler, going along with it. “I would love to find a friend that’s taller than me. And experience what BELLO

my cast mates feel.” Quickly Kane replies, “You mean how you’re unable to look someone in the eye?” Immediately they all break out in laughter. Height is a present topic on the Baby Daddy set as well, with three male cast members that have completely different statures, how could it not be? “The height difference is perfect. From Tahj [Mowry] to me, from me to Derek, it's the evolution of men,” jokes Bilodeau. Yet it’s precisely that contrast which makes the pair of 3 such an easily assembled puzzle. “It's really funny looking at all three boys together,” says Kane. “It’s a good things it's a comedy.” With a hit on their hands, and a passion and want to continue on, Chelsea Kane utters a statement that could just as well go for both Derek Theler and Jean-Luc as well: “I would be happy with being in a sitcom for the rest of my life.” Lucky for her, when people take note of a sitcom like this one, it never dies.

I f you didn’t know, having two first names, (one of them serving as your last) already sets you 10 cool points higher than the rest of humanity, and Jay Ryan is no exception. That could be one in a million reasons why he plays sexy-best, (literally) Vincent Keller on the 'Beauty & The Beast' reboot. He sits before me in sunny LA, having just arrived from San Diego. “I live a very nomadic lifestyle. I've lived out of a suitcase for about 10-12 years now, since I left my native New Zealand,” he says. "Acting quickly took me out of New Zealand because it’s such a small industry there.” Toronto, being his latest stop, has become home for this nomad for the time being—“I enjoy Toronto. It’s a cool city; it’s got a good vibe, and it’s close to New York, when you really want to have some fun. “ But growing up in the Z didn’t prepare him for The Queen City’s highs and lows. “It’s kind of like the extreme in weather. We shoot, during snowstorms and then heat waves, so there's no middle. It was a bit of a shock for me culturally.”

But playing an alien hasn’t steered her away too much from her earthly roots. “I’m obsessed with Hot Cheetos right now. I love to cook. I’m a cooking fanatic,” says Gilligan. “I just got a crockpot, and so I've been trying to get all these recipes for crockpots on pintrest. I'm addicted to Pintrest! It's a pasta dish, and you basically just put everything in a pot, let it simmer, and it's done. Water, basil, tomato, onions, and then the uncooked pasta. He’ll be hitting up living rooms this fall; as the knave of hearts, and a helping hand to the beloved Alice, in ABC's spinoff series 'Once Upon A Time In Wonderland'. It feels like every adaptation of the iconic character adds a new buddy, but this one is long overdue. “The Knave’s a thief, a very clever thief who is quite cold hearted. He is very honest. He tells it like it is. No BS. He’s also very loyal to Alice, and he hates Wonderland.” A character that hates Wonderland is certainly an intriguing one. Though he puts a rumor of him being in a band to rest, he does tell us what he can’t live without. Sorry ladies, he’s not an A+ musician, but he does have some fashion sense. “I love Vivienne Westwood clothes. I like the old school mod style with a bit of hip-hop. Nike Air Max for shoes.”

D ouglas Smith might be one of Hollywood’s most underrated actors of his generation, but with a film like 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters' under his belt, that might change—not that this jazz-lovin’ guy needs the validation. “I’m an indie rocker. “Lindsay and I had a great time. I was excited and intrigued to work with someone who is talked about so much. We made a point of working on developing a backstory for our characters - a sense of history.” Nolan’s dabbled in genres that are worlds apart, as clean-cut sometimes-smart alec teen on 'Awkward', and even a teen idol in Broadway’s 'Bye Bye Birdy'. The Walking Dead premieres October 13, 2013 on AMC
F resh-faced Emily Kinney ditches the clean and sanitary to get down and dirty on AMC’s hit series 'The Walking Dead'. But even though the world her character lives in is, in many ways, estranged from civilization, Emily herself is just getting into the groove of this generation’s tricks. “I just got into instagram, and I've been having fun playing with all the little filters,” she says. “I’ve also been getting into hula hooping which is sort of strange. Now every morning, I’ll hula hoop, stretch, and then go off to work after that,” she says, not being able to hold her laugh. For anyone’s who’s never watched 'The Walking Dead', nothing on that show is pretty, which is what has Americans practically roaring multiples seasons later, after a breakout first season. “When I get to set, I come showered and clean. Then, I basically get sprayed with mud, dirt, and sweat. We even have someone who’s constantly searching for ticks because we’re always just running around in the woods.”
Yet contrary to her onscreencounterpart, Emily has a musical side she’s about to unleash to the world. “I have an EP coming out the 1st of October titled Expired Love. When I have these little breaks, on 'Walking Dead', I go to New York or I come to LA and practice with my band. When I'm in Atlanta--and I have the day off, I basically just write. It’s pop folky, like Regina Spector, or Ingrid Michelson; so, very lyric based. I pull a lot from my crushes on people or relationships. Expired Love consists of seven songs that I recorded during break--between season 3 and season 4.”

CELEB SCENTS Selecting a scent to wear is an incredibly personal decision. Not only can it emphasize a mood or state of mind, but it’s also the first thing that touches the skin before any article of clothing. It’svery intimate.
Unsurprisingly, trendconscious musicians have followed the fragrance business by headlining creations designed to connect with their fans. It’s an interaction and an incredibly personal way to reach out to them without physically touching them. So, it makes sense (or is it cents?) for everyone involved in the buyandsell cycle of the retail industry to have a celebrity attached to a brand. The results are as good as – liquid – gold. Music superstar Justin Bieber unlocks The Key as his third fragrance (following Someday and Girlfriend) in his olfactory franchise. The packaging is modern and fresh with the high gloss white bottle accented by bright gold reflective accents and a weighted key charm (that can be removed and worn). Fresh and floral, the fragrance awakens the senses with a burst of juicy fruits (mandarin, pear, boysenberry), while the heart blooms to unveil a bright bouquet of sheer florals (pink jasmine, water lily). The dry down blends sensual musks and exotic woods with decadent notes of vanilla and rounding off with a delicious touch of raspberry cream. Less sweet than his previous scents, yet perfect for his adoring fans. The reigning queen of countrypop follows the success of Wonderstruck Taylor Swift, with an eponymous scent: Taylor by Taylor Swift. and soft woods; classic yet alluring. The fragrance begins with a burst of fresh fruits and flowers, blending luscious lychee and sparkling tangerine with a whisper of magnolia petals. The middle notes look to some of Taylor’s favorite flowers: peonies, hydrangeas, and vanilla orchids. And anchoring the base is creamy sandalwood, warmed by an inviting mixture of apricot nectar, cashmere musk, and a blend of woods. All of this is captured within a bottle that embodies Taylor’s penchant for retromeetsmodern style a string of pearls, a faceted cap and a bold, Puccilike print topping the glass flacon. One Direction are the newcomers getting in – and cashing in – on the celebrity fragrance trend. Niall, Louis, Harry, Liam and Zayn have established themselves as the world’s biggest band of today and their debut fragrance, Our Moment, is both inspired by and dedicated to their fans. The development of the band’s first fragrance has been a year in the making with the guys involved in every step of the process from the creation of the scent to the design of the bottle (crowned with a pink “flower”) and its packaging. The sparkling and juicy fragrance begins with tones of pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants, combined with the delicacy of jasmine petals, followed by frangipani, woody tones, creamy musk and white patchouli leave an enticing effect on the skin. It will fly off shelves within moments and into the beauty routine of millions of their fans. Why not spritz like a celebrity? Musicians aren’t the only ones who want to smell good.

Tell us a secret. Oh God! Ah, this is juicy. I put a down payment on an engagement ring at 24! She had a plan, wanted your genes, and had a breeding deadline! (Laughs) Lost my deposit, but best decision changer, EVER. Your brother could’ve stood in. Could she tell the difference? As long as the lights are off, there are some differences (laughs hysterically). You were a successful model, why switch gears? Honestly, I just decided to go back to my original passions, acting and producing. I’d been studying acting over the last 10 years. So this year was a total reset button. I stopped modeling, moved, and broke up with the girlfriend. Then played a train wreck with really big hair and substance abuse issues? Why not? The character in “The Big Meet” was completely out of my element and comfort zone, which I loved! I didn’t want to do a predictable “former model” type of role. You’re closing this year’s LA International Film Festival. Proud much? I really am, I mean this was such a passion project for us. Then to get that kind of recognition, it’s very satisfying. We plan to submit to more festivals. You’ve been producing too recently? Yeah, for the short I was an EP, and then I had a small role and was the producer of my first feature “Another Stateside”. Producing in many ways is like organizing charity eventS you find funding and put out a lot of fires. What’s the film about? I heard it was an unusual subject… I can’t really say too much because it will give away the whole plot, but it deals with a topic that a lot of Iraq vets have suffered but no one talks about. It’s not reported on the news or even covered in the media, and it’s a devastating situation that happens really often. I’m so proud of the team that worked on this.

Do you understand people’s sexual fascination with twins? Oh always. I have a sexual fascination with female twins! So I get it, but as a twin… I’d pretend they aren’t related. It’s sensory overload, twice as much of, well, everything (giggles a little). Do you feel you have a personal style? Or are you just a hanger? This is it, blue jeans, Tshirts, older vintage stuff. Good pair of shoes, a great pair of sunglasses and at least one really good jacket. Man up, get a good pair of shoes. Ever had to sacrifice anything for work? I missed out seeing my niece grow up, not being there for all the birthdays. Strangest casting you ever did? A fashion show, wearing a massive fake labia, cock, and a Daft Punk helmet. Strangest shoot?
Burning Man? You? Mmmhmm. What’s the Burning Man type? Electro punk, stilt walking, firebreathers. I do Fire Poi! Name three items every “GrownAssMan” should have in his wardrobe?
Running around naked with my brother. Wouldn’t usually do that. Also watching a guy unable to keep it together on a campaign shoot, after partying too hard the night before. If all you have to do is stand there and smile, don’t have a runny nose or collapse. You don’t have to say a word, this isn’t Tetris…it’s simple stuff! Guilty pleasure? Chocolate BELLO

BRINGING SEXY BACK WORDS BY STEVEN CARVER
Celebrity clothing lines are nothing new. Whether it’s done via a partnership with a mass retail chain or produced as an independent capsule collection, the concept is no longer novel. Initially created to emulate the red carpet style of its namesake star, eventually too many lines were produced, losing its credibility. But, even in the crowd, there were some that stood apart. William Rast – from music superstar, Justin Timberlake, and his childhood friend, Trace Ayala – was successful from the getgo. Having real design credibility behind it (its creative director was Johan Lindeberg formerly of J. Lindeberg and currently from BLK DNM) certainly helped, as well as big runway shows, editorial coverage, and celebrity friends supporting the label. The last few years have been quiet on the design front (maybe because one of the men behind the label was a little busy making films, getting married and producing a new album), but now it’s– sexy – back. Slowly rolling out across North American retailers (with a global expansion in the near future), the label still believes in combining the authentic qualities of American heritage style with modern and sophisticated fits, fabrics, washes, and techniques. To quote the brand, think of William Rast as a mix of “southern charm meets biker rebel meets wrecked elegance.” For the fall season, apparel offerings include a wide range of denim, jackets (with vegan leather options), wovens, knits, and Tshirts, with features such as leather accents and zipper details – all done with a laidback rocker style. The novel aspect of the reintroduction is the focus on lower price points and its wide range of sizing options. It’s premium denim without the cost, making it accessible to everyone. From theinitial response of brand’s relaunch, it’s obvious, William Rast is bringing sexy back BELLO

LES BEIGES DE CHAN
I have tried many eyeliners with more or less success. When I came across this new Sephora smart liner, I was like... Eww... this isn’t esthetically pleasing. However, I decided to try it anyway- smart move on my end. This is the best liner ever. Easy to use. Easy to remove. According to Sephora, it works for both right and left handed girls. Try it. It’s fantastic.
If anyone of you is like me (I mean completely clumsy and goofy), this is the perfect eye shadow, no need to use a brush or anything. Just your fingers are enough. It applies easily and layers beautifully. Each pigment has different shades in it which will satisfy the most creative imagination. (I use the pink and the red shade as blush, as well).
For fall, Chanel has co ing compact- a versati used with or without f I love it. I use it withou me just the glow I lov look like I wear make der in the morning an the day!

I already have the illuminating base, but I wanted to try this rosee and enticing product (anything pink will drive me nuts). Truth is, I love this base. It has a beautiful, sheer, pearly finish that gives an instant glow to the skin. It applies very smoothly and smell delicious. Since I bought it, I have been wearing it without any makeup on top of it in the evening.

GROOMER ALLY GEORGE FOR GRIDAGENCY GRIDAGENCY.COM USING ORBIE GROOMING PRODUCTS
You may recognize Bob Harper’s name, or face, as one of the trainers and coaches from NBC’s weight loss reality show, The Biggest Loser (currently filming its fifteenth season), but Bob has a few other things up his sleeves, aside from just tattoos. Bob is the author of two New York Times bestselling books: The Skinny Rules and Jumpstart to Skinny, he has developed multiple series of fitness DVDs, created a line of kettlebells and supplements, and even runs an online gym – and you thought your schedule was busy. But despite all of this, Bob remains committed to his daily CrossFit challenge and mental disconnect by immersing himself into his side passion of photography. Sometimes the goals we set and achieve internally, lead to new goals being achieved externally. In Bob’s case, his name will forever be synonymous with fitness, not only for what he’s accomplished inside the gym but for what he continues to accomplish outside of it.

ing on the show since the beginning. I’m shooting season 15 right now. It was definitely a life changing experience for me.
BOB: It was definitely not planned. I was living in Los Angeles for several years and came out here to be a personal trainer I had no interest in being on television. My clientele was very celebrity based, so my name got thrown into the mix of potential trainers for the (new) reality show The Biggest Loser. I remember being very skeptical in the beginning. I had heard of the show, but remembered other weight loss shows that had come out that were very extreme and thought I’d have no interest in this, but I went on the audition and ended up having a great amount of interest because they were going to handle weight loss from the perspective of diet and nutrition, which is the only way to really sustain it. I went through the audition process, and it took about 6weeks for them to make a decision, and the rest is history. It completely changed my life, and I’ve been work-
Bello: YOU WERE ONCE A VEGETARIAN/ VEGAN, BUT OPTED TO RETURN TO AN ANIMAL DIET, EXPLAIN YOUR REASONS. BOB: I’m always reading and learning, because I think whatever business you’re in, you need to constantly evolve. I had touched upon vegan and vegetarianism for a while, for several years, and I really liked many aspects of it. However, I felt like at one point I was losing a lot of my physical strength, and, for me personally, it just wasn’t working for me anymore I had to start incorporating animal proteins back into my diet. I have several books out that talk about the benefits of making sure you’re getting plenty of vegetables. A lot of diets out there don’t focus on the importance of eating vegetables. I still eat a lot of vegetarian style foods, however, I had to incorporate meat.

BELLO: HOW IMPORTANT OF A ROLE DO YOU FEEL BALANCE (IN ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE) PLAYS IN ATTAINING GREATER SUCCESS IN YOUR WORKOUT/EXERCISE PROGRAM? BOB: I look at the full circle of a balanced life, and you’ve got to incorporate proper nutrition, being active, managing stress, and getting proper sleep. When you start putting these pillars in place in your life, that’s when you’re going to have that overall quality of life change. When you only focus on one aspect, you can’t get a full circle unless you really attack all angles of it. I tell people all the time, you have to plan ahead. If you were to ask someone (whose body you admire), they’ll tell you that they’re not leaving it up to chance when they’re traveling. They make sure they’re going to make sure they have food to eat and not have to pull up to a fast food place when they’re starving to death. BELLO: WE NEVER SEEM TO HAVE ENOUGH TIME IN OUR DAY, SO OF ALL TRENDING EXERCISES (PILATES, YOGA, CROSSFIT, FUNCTIONAL FITNESS, KETTLEBELLS, ETC) WHICH, IN YOUR OPINION, YIELDS THE GREATEST EXURTION OR RESULTS IN THE SHORTEST AMOUNT OF TIME? BOB: Hands down, no question, CrossFit has changed the landscape of fitness. It’s not a trend it’s something that’s going to be around for a long time. I’ve been doing it for a couple years now, and it has completely changed my body and mind. I use it on the show all the time. When you’re working with time constraints, there are CrossFit workouts that you can get done in 20 minutes or less and you’re going
to get the same kind of results that you did by trying to wear and tear your body in a gym for 60 minutes. It’s the best. BELLO: HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH THE FIRST LADY, MICHELLE OBAMA, AND HER LET’S MOVE INITIATIVE? BOB: I’ve been very fortunate to work with the First Lady for a couple of years now. It’s been such a great experience to see this powerful woman that has really put forth so much effort and care with childhood obesity [has] been a real honor and a lot of fun to work with her. I was just at an event awhile back in an arena where we had thousands and thousands of kids dancing and jumping around exercising, and at one point, I’m there with Michelle Obama on my left and Serena Williams on my right and I was like, well this is kind of cool. I grew up on a small farm in Tennessee who would have thought I would have been working with [two] of the most powerful people in the world.
BELLO: IN THIS VERY VISUAL WORLD WE LIVE IN, YOUR INSIDE OUT BELIEF OR METHOD COULDN’T BE MORE IMPORTANT. TELL US ABOUT THAT. BOB: I always tell people, especially in the day and age that we live in where people compare themselves to everyone they see on television or on magazines and in the movies, to get focus on what they’ve got to work with, don’t setup unrealistic goals. I’m never going to look like The Rock, but I know what I can do with the body I have, and I try to get people to do the exact samething with their body because that’s how you’re going to feel really good about yourself, when you can be the best you, you can possibly be and not compare yourself to the person beside you. BELLO: EVERYONE HAS (OR SHOULD HAVE) AN OUTLET OUTSIDE OF HIS OR HER DAY TODAY TELL US ABOUT YOUR ESCAPE FROM THE GYM.

BOB: I’m also a photographer and spend a lot of my time, when I’m not working or working out with CrossFit, behind the camera. I did a lot of traveling in the past couple of months and spent some time in Paris and London working on my photography. It’s very cathartic for me. It relaxes me, puts my brain in a whole other arena, which I think is really important. BELLO: YOU NOT ONLY INSPIRE THOSE ON A JOURNEY FOR WEIGHTLOSS AND A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE, BUT YOU JUST PLAIN AND SIMPLY INSPIRE PEOPLE, HOW’S IT FEEL BEING A ROLE MODEL IN TODAY’S WORLD? BOB: I take it very seriously. I’ve been given a huge platform, and I treat it with respect and care. I know that a lot of people look to me for inspiration or advice and that’s why I’m constantly challenging myself and put myself in situations that aren’t comfortable for me. When I first started doing CrossFit, I got my ass handed to me – it was the hardest thing I had ever

done, and I knew I had to continuing doing it. I tell people all the time, you’ve gotta get outside of your comfort zone. Life can be good, but it doesn’t have to be easy. BELLO: THERE’S NO SHORTAGE OF THINGS ON YOUR PLATE (TV, BOOKS, DVD’S SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS), BUT WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING ONCE YOUR TIME WITH THE BIGGEST LOSER COMES TO AN END. BOB: I’ve always been a trainer and always loved being one, so nothing would make me happier than to have a little (public) CrossFit gym where I could spend my days working people out, and myself, and travel the world doing my photography. BELLO: WHAT IS THE MOST SATISFYING PART OF WHAT YOU DO? BOB: I get to have a part in people’s transformations. Being able to work on The Biggest Loser as long as I have and work with all the people I have – we’ve
been able to create these lifelong memories. We’re always going to remember the times we had and people will be able to look to me to say that Bob had a part in changing my life for the better. I know that sounds like a Miss America answer, but I got to be a part of a lot of transformations and that’s very fulfilling for me, very satisfying for me, it keeps me going and keeps me motivated. Just the other day I was doing a really hard workout, and I had to call my team from this current season (The Biggest Loser, season 15) and tell them how much they inspired me to keep me going through such a brutal workout. BELLO: WHAT IS SEXY TO YOU? BOB: Sexy is a swagger, it’s that attitude that somebody carries themselves with. I always see that person that’s walking through their day and they don’t have to look over their shoulder, they’re very confident within, and I find that to be really really hot.

Gaiam’s Hot/Cold Trigger Point Massage Ball
Weights on the BOSU® Balance Trainer
EatThisMuch.com
If you’ve been relying on an old tennis ball to help elevate muscle tension, then it’s time to step up your game with Gaiam’s Hot/Cold Trigger Point Massage Ball. Its textured bumpy surface integrates with Hot and Cold Therapy to help pinpoint areas of stress in the arms legs and back by stimulating blood flow and relaxing muscles (Hot Therapy) and/or reducing inflammation and slowing circulation to problem areas (Cold Therapy). Simply place the 6” ball in a freezer or hot water to activate the Hot/Cold technology, and you’ll be well on your way to relieving muscle soreness from the comforts of your home.
Authors Brett Stewart and Jason Warner join forces to create an easytofollow resource filled with straightforward information and exercises that will guide you to stronger and leaner muscles by simply using a BOSU® Balance Trainer with your body weight, and a dumbbell or two. We’ve featured the BOSU® Balance Trainer in a previous issue of Bello Mag, and could probably feature it in 10 more, but in short it’s a phenomenal piece of equipment that is worth checking out. The beauty of this book is that it cuts right to the chase with a simple overview, followed by sets of basic and advanced programs that target upper, lower or overall body, and ends with 60+pages filled with images of exercises and stretches that will be beneficial to anyone, whether a novice or a master.

VIRGO
Happy Birthday Virgo!!! It’s true what they say that nothing great in life comes easy. This month, focus on your inner strength to propel you into the relationship you so desire. Go after what you want with perseverance and courage.
LIBRA
It’s time to put the old you to rest. Ways in which you’ve been operating are no longer serving you. So, kick those old bad habits (indecision, negativity, inauthenticity) to the curb and welcome new ones (decisiveness, positivity, authenticity) with open arms.
SCORPIO
Remember that game, “telephone?” You sit in a circle with a group of people, one person whispers something in someone’s ear and then that person whispers the same thing into the person’s ear sitting next to them, and then that person whispers what that person said to the person sitting next to them, and so on and so forth. By the time the information gets whispered back into the person’s ear that started the game, what’s said is usually something completely different from what was originally stated. If you’ve heard what someone else has said about you through someone else’s mouth, I suggest you go straight to the source and get it sorted out.

Life loves to throw those dirty little curveballs at us. You’ve either been struck by one recently or, be prepared, cause one is coming your way. I offer you a couple of things, examine your situation carefully, talk to the people in your life, and listen to your inner voice to help you locate the problem.
One of the greatest tools we have in life is choice. Once you discover the true power in that, you’ll really get that you are the cause and the matter of everything in your life. You want happiness? Choose it. You want love? Choose it. You want to be pissed at the world? It’s your choice. Yes, you have a choice in the way you see things and feel about things, regardless of what anyone else says or does.
