LETTER FROM THE EDITOR ob·ses·sion noun * an idea or thought that continually preoccupies person’s mind. Here we are at our second annual Obsession issue, sharing with you things that we love, obsess over, and interviewing many talent that you should obsess about. Avril Lavigne and Tom Felton are our main covers obsessions. Attempting to get them out of their comfort zone, we got them to feature themselves in looks you have never seen before, but make sure to check out the videos included inside our BELLO mag APP, and on www.bellomag.com to get the full feature. Lately, we have been obsessing with the grunge trend, including some interesting fashion and beauty choices. We went as far BELLO

The BELLO team is also spread throughout the world in able to bring you exclusive photo shoots with our cover stars and have created an all new section- LifeStyle. We survived September, so now it is time to have fun, go to parties, enjoy fall and winter fashion, watch all that amazing television presents, movies, listening to some good music, and just obsess. INTRO Dear Fall, I can openly admit that October may be my favorite month of the year; for 2 reasons, in particular. It has my favorite holiday, Halloween. PLUS... It also holds my favorite Bello mag subject, OBSESSION. In this issue, we are ecstatic that we get to talk about all the things we obsess over. Music, talent, television shows, films, products, and the list goes on and on. What’s even more exciting... We get to share our obsessions with you. Welcome to our Obsession Issue... Let me start with our biggest obsession in music and style... The one and only, Avril Lavigne. She graces our cover with one of the best covers we’ve featured to date. Her high fashion style mixed in with her princess of punk attitude... Who wouldn’t obsess over this combination? Then we have the edgy and cool, extremely talented Brit known as Tom Felton. You may recognize him as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series that everyone in the world is obsessed about, but we know him as the one to watch on the big and small screen. Our Entertainment cover features the handsome Joseph Morgan, lead to the spinoff series of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ called ‘The Originals’. I guarantee after seeing his editorial inside our Bello mag pages, you will obsess over him as much as we do. Next, I introduce you to our Fashion cover girl, Katie Lowes, from the US obsessed hit show ‘Scandal’. Mixing her GirlNextDoor looks with a seductive high fashion feature, Katie shows us a different side... Our Music cover features the gorgeous, (livingproof of the American dream), humble and sweet, Blake Jenner, who won ‘The Glee Project’ and secured his spot as a series regular on the worldwide obsessed hit show ‘Glee’. And last, but not least, the stunning Sarah Dumont makes the perfect Beauty cover in our beauty section. An expro model, she takes her blonde All American Girl looks and gives us yet another trend that we currently are obsessing over; bringing back the grunge of the 90s into our contemporary present time. There you have it. Just a few of the many things 2013 has offered us to obsess over. Here, at Bello mag, OBSESSION is a state of style, living, and mind. We promote obsession in a healthy manner. It helps us promote to our readers the longing for everything we all deserve out of life. And we know you deserve it all... Leslie Alejandro Executuve Editor for Bello Mag

His boss being none other than Julie Plec; Executive Producer of a series who has teenagers both screaming and squealing all at the same time. Read on for Joseph’s thoughts on vampire mythology, playing the bad guy, and all things Mikaelson. Dio Anthony: As an actor how is it that you go on about playing this character that in many ways, is larger than life. He’s good, he’s bad. Then he’s hard to love, but then he’s hard to hate all at the same time. Joseph Morgan: I mean, first of all I’ve always been fascinated with the genre. So I had somewhat of a background, or knowledge of vampire mythology before going into the show. I watched a lot of films, read a lot of books, and you know, just kind of immersed myself in it, so in many ways it was a dream job going into this. I just had to familiarize myself with the particular mythology of mystic falls. In term of the character, first I looked at inspiration like the vampire Lestat [Interview With A Vampire]. The way Tom Cruise played him, the kind of flamboyant, rock star, petulant, a little crazy. Coupled with the idea that he’s a couple thousand years old, so probably a threat. And so, I looked a little a bit to Hannibal Lecter, that quiet threat. “I’m just gonna take off your head and put my hand down your throat and cut out your insides.” You know, very playful. And then you know, when I’m working on the scenes, always try and look at what I’m doing to other people, as opposed to; I’m sad in this scene or, I’m angry. I try and look at the effect I’m going to have on someone else. I’m going to intoxicate you, I’m trying to dagger you, I’m trying to needle you, and I’m trying to excite you. That’s the way I go about it. I like to go in with an idea of what I’m going to do. And then I love it when a director gives me a new idea. Then you have to change everything you’ve thought about, That’s when the freshest most interesting work comes off. DA: How much say have you had in terms of where your character has gone, in The Vampire Diaries, and now in The originals? JM: I’ve had a little. Especially in terms of the dialogue, I have something like a get out of jail British card. Where I’ll suggest different ways of saying things. I introduced the idea in terms of using the terms of affection like, sweetie, heart, and my lovely. I took that from The Vampire Diaries book. There’s a moment where he writes sweetheart in the mirror and I thought that was interesting. And then in terms of him, I paint myself, using mostly acrylics and canvas. And I had a pretty in depth conversation about that with one of the writers who also paints. She had been thinking of making Klaus an artist, so that really
BELLO
cemented that. But mostly I try not to interfere with the storyline. We have a really good team of writers. Whom I trust. Julie Plec, for one I trust and believe that she will steer me in an interesting new direction, and so I’m happy. DA: What are you looking forward to experiencing and exploring with your character now that you’ve entered this new world? JM: Really, in truth, they’ve taken sort of my favorite elements of The Vampire Diaries and made a new show of. Aside from the fact that I’ve always loved working with Claire [Holt] and Daniel [Gillies] who play my siblings. There’s an older, darker, edgier side to The Originals. I’m looking forward to playing with how Klaus deals with impending fatherhood. I really like the idea that he will start to possibly, against his will care for this child. I’m looking forward to learning more about the relationship between Klaus and Marcell. There’s a history there, and we’ll find out about it. I really think the complicated dynamic they have; being friends who have a mutual respect and a love for each other, but also, kind of deep seeded envy of each other and a resentment of each other, it’s a real complex place. Which is always fun to get your teeth into.” How’s that for a pun? DA: Have you completely grown to understand Klaus? JM: You know it’s like life I suppose. I’d be lying if I said I understood myself. I understand Klaus and his motivations thus far. But I’d be kidding myself if I say I understand everything he’s yet to do. It evolves, and I try evolving my thinking along with it. But, I do have a good grasp of where he comes from and his reasons for being where he is based on his history. Julie [Plec] and the producers, they have a solid grasp of who Klaus is. Flashbacks are always fun because they give me more information and more material to ground on in terms of Klaus’ backstory. But It’s never anything where I feel like I have to change
BELLO
everything I’ve been doing. Who knows, sometimes those revelations can come out. When I found out he was half ware wolf, half vampire, It was a huge exciting thing to me. DA: How do you incorporate Klaus’ feral side into the character? JM: I always think about his temper, when he sort of sees red and gets furious. That’s his beastly side coming out, that’s his animalistic nature, his wolf half. However, I play the situation as it comes. I can’t play a vampire, I don’t know how I would play a vampire or a wolf, but I can play this person who has this great power. And because of it he’s comfortable, he can also shut off his feelings when he pleases. These are all things that you can kind of draw from. It’s like saying how do you play someone who’s evil? When I just don’t think I could play someone who’s just evil. What does that mean? It’s too simple; they’re evil; they’re not very nice to people. [Laughs] DA: Was your character originally supposed to last as long as it did? JM: No, [laughs] I came into The Vampire Diaries in someone else’s body, (Alaric’s body), and then I was contracted to do more episodes as a guest star at the end of the second season, with the potential to possibly become a regular. So I knew if I really messed it up, they’d cover themselves because Klaus could just come into some other actor’s body. But luckily they seemed to like what I was doing. My personal plan was always that one season would be enough. I felt like after that, the villain sticking around for longer, maybe he’d going to become good. I wasn’t too keen on that idea, I wanted to preserve the evil integrity of the character. So About halfway through season three I started realizing how much of a gift it was playing him, and how well the fans started responding, and surprisingly relating to him, and how much I was enjoying myself. So I went to see Julie and I said to her,

listen I think there’s a common misconception that I want to be killed off after the season. I told her that I was having a really good time and that I would love to do another season. She was happy to hear that and towards the end of the season I got an email from her assuring me that I’d be in the following season. By the end of season 3, there had been whispers of The Originals, and I was always keen on that idea.
DA: Leaving Mystic Falls behind, what are we in for? JM: For the fans of The Vampire Diaries, they’ll see myself, Elijah and Rebekah, but with a lot more free range than they’ve seen before. The mythology will remain the same. However, with the arrival of new rules and new creatures, new beings and new characters for us to get to know. It’s more about vampires and supernatural beings who embrace their nature and what they are and don’t feel the slightest guilt about it. Julie Plec has done a great job at making sure new fans of the show won’t feel alienated or like they’ve missed the party.

‘Big Sur’ Review By Brad Liberti
BELLO
Cinema’s current love affair with the profoundly restless, curiously neurotic Beats, finds its most gorgeously elegiac expression in writer/director Michael Polish’s ‘Big Sur’. Like festival favorite, Kill Your Darlings, Polish’s faithful adaptation of Kerouac’s 1962 novel profiles that magical mix of intrepid thinking and indefatigable vigor that allowed iconoclasts like Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac to spawn a cultural movement, but unlike the Daniel Radcliffefronted pic, or last year’s screen version of Kerouac’s most famous work, On The Road, this film also beautifully examines what happens after the revolution.
Anthony Edwards), owns an isolated cabin in California’s wildly pristine Big Sur National Park.
As the movie opens, Mr. Kerouac (Jean MarcBarr), similar to his literary counterpart, Jack Duluoz, is living in NYC and riding the crest of his generationdefining fame. Yet despite being a counterculture hero, he’s also feeling quite tempered by the endless imitation and ravenous expectation that have been brought on by his notoriety. Luckily, friend and fellow poet, Lawrence Ferlinghetti (a sorely missed
History may have revealed the answer, but that does little to diminish Polish’s lyrical film, or the brilliant performance at its center. Barr, relatively unknown in the US, perfectly nails Kerouac’s difficult, often unyielding countenance, but also his singularly brilliant mind. Together, he and his gifted director have fashioned an appropriately poetic portrait of a life less ordinary.
It’s here that Kerouac finds refuge from his gilded prison with the help of writers like Neal Cassady (Josh Lucas) and Philip Whalen (Henry Thomas), old buddies whose presence is a poignant reminder for him of those anonymous and inspired early days. It’s also during this time that Kerouac entertains one of his greatest existential crises: whether or not to replace the creatively nurturing chaos in his life with convention by marrying a steadfast single mom (Kate Bosworth).
THE O LIST: 5 Things We’re Obsessed With This Month By Hiko Mitsuzuka
THEY’RE THE PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS WE CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THIS MONTH. AND WE THINK YOU SHOULD PLACE ‘EM ON YOUR RADAR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. 1. iHome’s iBT4 Bluetooth Wireless Rechargeable Boombox – We’ve been carrying this little powerhouse of a player everywhere we go: at the beach, camping trips, picnics in the park, and dinner parties at home. Hook it up to your iPod (with an auxiliary cable, included), connect it wirelessly to your Bluetoothenabled device, or turn on the FM radio for some tunes. Comes in gray, white, green, or purple ($99.99). Speaking of tunes... 2. Betty Who – This indie pop tart from Australia just signed a deal with RCA after her song, “Somebody Loves You,” went viral thanks to that Home Depot marriage proposal/flash mob debuted on YouTube last month. 10 millions views later, and we can’t enough of the other sparkling gems on the 21yearold singersongwriter’s EP, ‘The Movement,’ particularly the irresistible “High Society.” Get on it now. www.bettywhothemovement.com 3. Grand Marnier’s Signature Collection N° 2 – Summer may be over, but we’ve been keeping things fresh with Grand Marnier’s limited edition Raspberry Peach liqueur that just launched ($39.99 / 750ml). This rich, complex and fruity cognac is perfect over ice (for those poolside moments), mixed with champagne (to celebrate a birthday), or added to any cocktail (at a Halloween party or two). It’s a musthave for any mixologistsintraining. 4. Jake’s in Palm Springs – The next time you’re planning an escape to the desert, stop by this outdoor bistro (celebrating 7 seasons this month!) for some delicious brunch (particularly the Miami Vice Salad) and a baconinfused Bloody Mary – right before you treat your taste buds to a slice of red velvet cake with pomegranate cream cheese frosting for dessert (start salivating now). www.jakespalmsprings.com 5. Halloween costumes – We don’t know about where you live, but here in Hollywood, we won’t rest until we’ve nailed down the perfect outfit to wear at every party and boulevard festival on October 31. Our predictions for the hottest costumes of 2013? Simple: Walter White from ‘Breaking Bad,’ those creepy peeps from ‘The Purge”...and Miley Cyrus from this year’s VMAs (twerking optional).

@SamPalladio
The dreamy Brit has been killing it as Gunnar Scott on breakout hit ‘Nashville’ and in this issue of Bello, he proves he can do just as much damage in a fashion shoot... YUM! Suits you Sir! After landing a regular spot on last year’s freshman drama ‘Nashville’ (and ABC’s only one to be renewed for a second season by the way), things didn’t slow down for Sam Palladio through the summer. He shot the highly anticipated ‘Runner, Runner’ with Justin Timberlake and the next Caped Crusader (Ben Affleck). He’s played famous Nashville bars and concert halls with his growing music collective, Salt Water Thief; and even began writing songs and music for an upcoming EP. Now with fall just around the corner, the English actor and musician who once portrayed a very young Joe Strummer (‘Little Crackers’) is gearing up for Season 2.

Hailing from the pirate shores of Penzance (that’s in Cornwall, England, folks) this modest sexsymbol is making quite the impression stateside. A Hollywood virgin (of sorts), he’d never as much as set foot on US soil before landing his role on the Calli Khouri created country music soap opera. Not bad, considering that convincing Southern drawl that drips effortlessly from his supple pink mouth (*a collective sigh heard across America)... I digress. Since being here, he’s also experienced iTunes topping duets with costar Clare Bowen and was given the honor of being the very first male actor EVER to grace teen girl staple—Lucky mag. Let’s not forget last season (as Gunnar Scott), he made his very first marriage proposal. Wonder if that will pan out quite as successfully as Sam’s real life endeavors? I’m thinking probably not. Chatting with him, Sam let
me in on whether he personally thinks getting married is such a smart idea for the future Mr and Mrs Scott; as well as subtle hints at what lies in store on ‘Nashville’... y’all! Bello: Gunnar Scott? Best name ever? Very masculine, no? Sam: Yes, unfortunately Gunnar doesn’t have massive guns (giggles), if there are any more shirtless scenes he might have to get some, eh? There aren’t that many people with that name out there. I met a little boy with that name; coolest kid. It’s got a straightup American feel to itGunnar.
He’s had quite the emotional arc? Is that quite taxing? It was challenging, but a great one. It gave me something to really dig into, especially the scenes with his dying brother. As an actor, it’s great, but the

hospital stuff was taxing because I usually draw from personal experiences. You have a discomfort with hospitals? Sort of. I’ve had some hard times at hospitals in the past, so I channeled those emotions. It didn’t take much to get into that kind of a state. Have you been in similar bad roman tic scenarios, as the lovely (but easily seduced) Gunnar? There are some similarities along the way between the two of us, but I’m not quite as rash as he is. He’s quite rash... A LOT! I mean there was one episode where he hooked up with Chloe Bennet’s character, and within the same day, maybe 5 minutes later, he was making out with Scarlett! Never done that. Really, I just assumed all men did that (laughing). No can’t say I have ever followed that trajectory. (He’s quite the giggler this one!) In your opinion, is Gunnar ready for marriage or is that a really bad idea for him? Well it’s a prime example of his rash decision making. I don’t think he’s really in the right headspace to be dealing with that, it might well have been fueled by a fear of losing someone.
Which isn’t the best basis for getting married. I mean he loves Scarlett, and that’s 100% genuine, but mix that with a little bit of fear—and you get a proposal. You shoot ‘Nashville’ there, so are you technically based there now, or LA? I am based in Nashville actually. I got cast for the job having never been to America, so Nashville is literally the first place I’ve seen or lived here. Which I’m really pleased about, because Nashville is such a fantastic city, with this great creative music energy. Then there’s that Southern hospitality, you can’t beat that. Why do you think there is such a Brit invasion of actors at the moment? Not to be bias, but as small a place as England is, it does has a great talent pool. Which I think American casting directors and companies are more open to now, then before. They also seem to have a lot of respect, for our thorough drama training process. Which granted means we start going out on castings a little bit older, but we hit the ground running. I had just graduated at 21, where as a lot of Hollywood actors/ actresses have already become huge stars by then. The music from the show is very pop ular—iTunes downloads have been

crazy—was that intentional from the start? It’s something that never crossed my mind (smirking), but after the pilot aired, I thought it was very clever of the creators. So it was a nice switch from mournful, poetic, melancholy Gunnar to messy haired Rock Star Gunnar. Though “When the Right One Comes Along” holds a special place for me, as two of my reallife friends actually wrote that one. Which is very cool.
Any personal faves as far as singles so far? Ooh let me think... As much as the haunting duets are in my wheelhouse, I have to admit I liked some of the rock-

Kenny Rogers follows the show. So who knows maybe one of those might make an appearance. Can you imagine Kenny Rogers making a cameo, that would be brilliant! Tell me about your band? I’m working with a group of really talented musicians out here and we’ve been playing local shows, like The Bluebird Cafe and the Grand Ole Opry. We’ve been working on an EP, which will hopefully be ready and available soon. Do you guys have a name? Actually, not really, not officially, but I think it will be another incarnation of Salt Water Thief.
Give me an example of a GREAT song? No pressure right? Seventies folk, “Fire and Rain” James Taylor. Do you manage your own Twitter ac count, or is that someone else? No, that’s just me. Are you foremost a musician, or an ac tor? An actor foremost. I think people assume that music was, but acting was my first love—always. It’s just been very handy to have these music skills also. I noticed on your resume that you have listed “surfing” as a skill. Being born in Kent, that seems a bit odd? Yeah although I was born there, I actually grew up all my life in Penzance,
Cornwall. So I was at the beach all the time. I actually wanted to be a marine biologist for a long time—then I realized I wasn’t that great at science. Is there a bromance you wish you could develop? Not really sure what that means, but I think I may have started to have one already! With my buddy Ronnie Vannucci, the drummer from The Killers. We ended up crossing paths in London, and he’s a fan of the show and watches it on the tour bus apparently, so we got chatting and sort of became instant buddies ever since. Ben Affleck is the king pin of the seedy side, of this online gambling world, Ivan Block. I’m loving these names! Ivan Block yeah, it’s a good ‘un. Did Justin Timberlake give you any insight into balancing a music and acting career? Well he’s done it very well, hasn’t he? We did have a few chances to chat, with him being from Memphis just down the road, we talked about it a couple of times. I really admire the guy. He’s super multitalented in a way that not a lot of people are anymore. Watching his music career and his films, then these new Cohen Bros movies he’s doing as well. His advice was just “keep cracking, keep going hard in both areas.” He’s the ultimate role model to have, really. There’s a “Marry Me” post currently on the IMDB started by “lee_soon_ok”? The whole thread is a light hearted argu ment about who you are betrothed to, between Lee and... the rest of the world. What do you think of that? I do read posts actually, it’s funny that the marriage proposals are happening so fast. I’ve been here less than a year! (laughs). People have sent me fan art, I got a really, really, good drawing. Seriously. I mean I appreciate it, but it seems a lot of effort to spend 5 hours to drawing my face (giggling). THIS UP AND COMING INDIE PRINCESS HAS BEEN MAKING THE ROUNDS IN THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT (YOU MAY HAVE CAUGHT HER AT TRIBECA EARLIER THIS YEAR AT THE WORLD PREMIERE OF ‘RAZE’), AND SHE’S ALSO GEARING UP FOR A BUSY FALL. LUCKY FOR US, SHE HAD SOME TIME TO ANSWER A FEW OF OUR BURNING QUESTIONS...
You’ve also taken on the role of pro ducer...what are the perks? And not somuch perks? I love being hands on with a project that I am acting in. It’s such a different process when you are producing and acting in a film. I do have to remind myself that when we start shooting my main focus is acting. I am still producing but my main focus is my performance and my character. I have learned so much about the industry as a whole after producing my first movie. My good friend is a producing and I am always calling him asking how I should handle situations and if this is the right direction. It’s a very tough and there are moments when I don’t think I am cut out for it but there are great moments when your film gets bought or distributed or fans love it that makes it so much more worth it.
Your new movie, ‘Life Tracker,’ has a scary but intriguing concept. Have you ever thought about your own mortal ity? How would you want to go out? I actually use to have a big fear of dying. As I get older I have come to terms with it more now knowing that when it’s our time. It is our time. I always said that I wanted to go in my sleep. A peaceful way. But really as long as I am happy and fulfilled with my life that’s all that really matters to me. Life is so short and it’s so important to fill it with as many amazing moments as we can before we go.
How often do you get to visit your na tive Toronto? Not as much as I would like. I get there about once a year but my family comes to visit me in L.A. I have been shooting in Vancouver for the last few months and it’s so nice just to be back in Canada.
What’s your next step in conquering Hollywood? I feel like I am always taking steps to conquer Hollywood. Once I am done shooting the show, I am heading back to L.A for the “Raze” premiere. I Also I
have two movies in production for next year that I am super excited about. One of them I am producing as well. M&Ms: plain or peanut? Neither! I love the ones with almonds and the ones with peanut butter. Got a killer Halloween costume planned? Got a favorite you’ve worn in the past? Nothing yet. My agent just informed me that he is having a Halloween party so I better get on it. I always love dressing up as super heros or Strong female characters. My favorite costume I ever did was Poison Ivy. I went all out on that one. It took days for me to get the costume off. Everything was sewn on me and glued on. lol We tend to obsess over our favorite things (songs, books, food, gadgets, viral videos) here at Bello. Got any current obsessions you wish to share? I am obsessed with Spotify. I love it. I am always on it finding new artist and sharing playlist with friends. I also love TED. Whenever I can’t sleep I put them on or any type of documentary. HBO has great ones. Any other projects we should know about? Nothing that I am allowed to discuss yet but soon.

The Newest, New Zealander James Trevena Brown PHOTOGRAPHER MARC CARTWRIGHT
With Hollywood’s continuous love affair with all things Aussie and Kiwi (New Zealand), James Trevena Brown (@James43nz) is definitely one to watch! Who can blame Tinseltown for it’s ongoing obsession with the various strapping young men, that have been arriving from South of the Equator for the last few years. Like descendants of Thor (ascending our Los Angeles shores), all boasting the chiseled jawlines and ripped abs reserved only for the truly divine. James TrevenaBrown is no exception, 6ft1, swimmers build and shoulders so broad; they seem solely designed for chopping wood or rescuing damsels (*preferably shirtless). In the next few pages you will truly understand why this latest Kiwi on the rise, is ready to give Russell Crowe, Joel Edgerton and those Hemsworth brothers—a run for their money. Now there’s something to look forward to, eh? Q&A Bello: TrevenaBrown is that a traditional New Zealand name, or are you Italian also? James: No, no, I honestly don’t know the origins on that one. B: Are you based in LA now? JTB: Yes, I’m here permanently now. Everyone out here has been insanely nice, it’s been great! (I’m thinking possibly because he looks like Thor’s other brother—I’m sure that doesn’t hurt.) Yeah, my neighbors are wonderful, they’ve

knocked on my door once or twice and brought a homemade dinner over! B: Are they women by any chance? (laughing maniacally) JTB: They are, but they are older ladies, seniors. They’ve been really awesome to me. B: That’s actually very sweet of them. Why do you think that there’s such a Kiwi & Aussie invasion going on in Hollywood? JTB: I think maybe 10 years ago, we didn’t really venture over here that often. It was rare, but now it seems more feasible and casting directors and scouts are coming over to Australia and New Zealand, looking. Maybe we are received differently by the audience, or we have a different vibe, I’m not sure why exactly—but I’m stoked that’s for sure (laughs). (I would venture a guess it’s because most of the male actors we’ve seen thus far from the Southern Hemisphere, are quite rugged to say the least. “Manly” men, capable of doing “manly” things, making heroic “manly” speeches—as they do it. I for one find it a lot easier to accept them as gladiators, warriors and genetically mutated heroes then Zac Efron or even Ryan Reynolds. As smoking hot as Mr. Tatum is; I’d sooner buy him as a government agent/cop and stripper, then say... a Greek God.) JTB: Oh God, I wouldn’t say I’m the most manly man. B: Well, you certainly look that way on screen! What’s the ‘Blue Rose’ about and BELLO

how can we see it in the US? JTB: It’s a murder mystery series, about a girl at a law firm that gets murdered and various people trying to figure out who killed her. I play Charlie, one of the lawyers in the office and I’m one of the many possible suspects. I think it maybe it’s coming to the US through Netflix or something like that, but I’m not 100% sure. B: What are you working on at the moment? JTB: At the moment I’ve been doing a lot of meetings and auditions. Again, I don’t know if it’s cause I’m not from here, but everyone has been so welcoming. Producers, execs, agents, etc, I can’t explain it really, but I’ve been very lucky. Maybe it’s the accent, eh? (Well I must admit I’ve gotten away with murder over here, with my accent!) B: Saw you training on YouTube, doing kungfu, fighting and landing, what was that for? JTB: I did this indie action film and we had to learn fighting techniques, using guns, the whole bit. I did all my own stunts, which was great fun. I like to bring sports and athleticism in with the

JTB: Well, I played inline hockey my whole life and went to the World Championships in New Zealand, where I then got offered an opportunity with ice hockey. But first I had to learn to ice skate! Which was hard, mostly because I went from a really good inline player to not being able to stand up. There’s definitely a learning curve with the ice, which definitely bruised my ego at the start. Finally, I became good enough to play and then I got the contracts, etc. B: Pronounce the place you are from in Auckland? JTB: Spelled Kapiti, pronounced like Carpetty (Or maybe that’s just how it sounds to me with his accent?) RAPID FIRE B: Guilty pleasure, any? JTB: Sh*& maybe I shouldn’t say. Chipotle, I would live on that forever if I could. B: Or swearing? JTB: Yeah I do have a little bit of a potty mouth, sometimes. B: Last book you read?
JTB: Lance Armstrong’s autobiography, and now it’s ruined. I read it and thought he was the greatest thing, then you found out, well—he’s not. B: Last Action Movie you enjoyed? JTB: ‘The Fast Furious 6’, loved that. B: Where did u wake up this morning? JTB: In Glindale? B: What now? Glin Dale? JTB: No, Glen Dale, Glendale (laughs). On my friend’s air mattress. B: What do you do on your time off? JTB: Pretty much nothing, maybe go to the gym. B: DJ or Band? JTB: Band. B: Dive Bar, Lounge, or Club? JTB: Dive Bar. B: Boxers or briefs? JTB: Briefs. B: Rugby, cricket or football fan? JTB:Ah, don’t even ask me that (laughing). Rugby is the best thing in the world. I actually found a team in Pasadena I play on sometimes. The starlet has starred alongside many of this generation’s biggest names. Among those? Angela Bassett and Queen Latifah. But what’s up next for the teen idol? A project so long overdue, it’ll have fans screaming and panting at the screen. The ‘Akeelah And The Bee’ star becomes Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas in the Made for Television biopic, ‘Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story’, coming out October 21st on VH1.

Any glance at the trailer, or even a publicity photo for the project, will leave you shocked at how closely palmer resembles the TLC star. She’s completely transformed for the role. The film, directed by Charles Stone III and written by Katie Lanier, costars Drew Sidora as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, and hip-hop artist Lil’ Mama as Lisa “Left-eye” Lopes.
Aside from the tale of one of the more famous female vocal groups of the nineties, Illinois native, Keke Palmer, is also apart of Neil Labute’s latest project, -- a Direct TV series on The Audience Network, titled ‘Full Circle’. In it she plays, Chan’dra. And continuing her almost tradition like pattern of working alongside today’s biggest names, she plays opposite David Boreanaz and relative new-cover Devon Gearheart, who at 18 years young, with an impressive set of acting chops, might’ve found his match in Palmer.
The 10 episode first season of the series takes place in the same place all throughout, a restaurant, and features a conversation between two characters every two episodes. Palmer is set to star in two of the ten episodes. You’ll first meet her as a girl whose life is irrevocably changed by a joke that comedian Jace (David Boreanaz) takes too far.
But why is it that such an accomplished young woman is able to fly under the radar for so long? An afternoon with Palmer and her mother, Sharon, will tell you why. Since her arrival in 2004’s ‘Barbershop 2’, Palmer has been gracing Americans all around the nation with her performances on both the small and big screen. Yet her demeanor is that of a regular girl. With a resume so impressive, there’s no denying the work ethic she holds is a strong one. Palmer’s mother, an actress in her own day, is the spitting image of the opposite of a todays often-seen stage mother. Instead, she’s present in every sense of the word, accompanying her daughter whenever possible, and supporting her career and life choices as if they were her own. At her photo-shoot which took place in Los Angeles’ west-side, Keke jokes and laughs with her mother and team of loyal helpers, and for a second, she’s exactly what she appears to be; an ordinary girl.

GLADIATOR IN WAITING PHOTOGRAPHY AMANDA PEIXOTOELKINS WORDS BY DIO ANTHONY
KATIE LOWES HAS BEEN MAKING HEADLINES WITH HER PORTRAYAL OF QUINN PERKINS ON ABCS DELICIOUS HIT DRAMA ‘SCANDAL’. QUICKLY BECOMING A FAN FAVORITE, THE 32 YEAR OLD NEW YORKER WELCOMED LA WITH OPEN ARMS, BUT IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THIS BRIGHT STAR TO LAND THE ROLE THAT WOULD ALLOW HER TO SHINE.
“I’d never heard anything like it,” she says of Shonda Rhime’s decision to cast her in the role of Quinn Perkins AKA Lindsay Dwywer, newbie turned pro and in some ways the baby at Olivia Pope & Associates. A baby that has grown far too quickly I might add. “Extraordinary” is her word of choice when describing a sort of cinderalla esque audition process. After more than six years battling and navigating the world of an out of work actor in Los Angeles, Shonda Rhimes and her team would bring solace to this Gladiator in waiting. “For years, I had been waitressing and babysitting and catering and personal assisting, and having any side gig I could possibly find,” she says. “At the same time, slowly but surely coming up the latter. Getting one line then two lines then three lines then a guest star, then a recurring.” It was casting director Linda Lowy, who happens to be married to Jeff Perry, Scandal’s own Cyrus Bean that would facilitate the meeting of a lifetime for Katie. “I went in to audition for Quinn and I felt really connected to her. For a million reasons but one
of them being that my middle name was Quinn”. “It was one of those auditions where everything just came really easily.” She says pensively. “I was able to remember the lines really easily and my acting just felt really natural and in place.” After her first and only audition for the role of Quinn Perkins she was told she’d go on to screentest for both the studio and network, but not even that would prepare her for the way the final news would come to her. Going back into the casting office for what she’d thought would be an evening of paperwork and contracts, she’d soon realize things would go much differently. I went in to sign the paper work, and Linda Lowy was there and Shonda Rhimes was there and the whole team. Shonda sat me down and said; I wanted to bring you in in person to let you know that you’re not going to be testing for the studio or network because I’m just going to give you the role. She said, I already brought your tape to ABC studios and network and they’ve already approved and I’m just going to give it to you.” As you can imagine Lowes started crying in a moment where she can only describe as “life changing.” “I was just running around the room hugging everyone, it was my American Idol moment,” she says, “My, I made it to Hollywood week!” The NYU Tish graduate had her fair share of differences set in place already when she initially set out to Hollywood, saying her transition was a huge one. Not being able to drive well and totaling new cars would quickly become the norm.

“Not only am I a New York actress, but I’m also just a New Yorker,” she tells me. “That’s where I was born and raised. That’s where my family’s from, and so LA was just a massive change.” Before everyone’s favorite protégé came around though, Katie Lowes was making moves of her own. For starters? She cofounded a Los Angeles theater company; The IAMA Theater Company. “I was born on the stage and that’s where I feel most comfortable. But when you get a TV show, you finally get to log in hours in front of the camera. Get comfortable and trust yourself in front of it. And so I think that that’s been an amazing experience and one of the huge things of me being on ‘Scandal’ because is I’ve gotten to be in front of the camera, and be around other actors who are real professional in front of the camera and basically just try and steal everything they do,” she says while letting out a slight chuckle. But as if bumping shoulders with Tony Goldwyn who plays the very charming and sexy President Grant wasn’t enough, Lowes has her own list of perks of being a Gladiator. I love Quinn, I love how diverse and layered and contradictory she is. I think in that way it makes her such a human being. She’s changed so much as a person which people do. The best part about playing Quinn Perkins? The ‘Scandal’ star is quick to reveal—“I really cannot say enough about all the actors, the writers, Shonda Rhimes, the crew. It is a real family and I get to come to work with all these cool, rad people. Last season fans of the show got to see Quinn on the other side of the table; as a client in crisis. But who’s to say Quinn is exempt from any other scandalridden sticky situation? “ I feel like if she was just regular person and didn’t work at Olivia Pope & associates, she would have some sort of addiction problem,” Lowes laughs out loud at after completing her sentence. “ I think that there was something there last season when she got to control a situation and get that high. That’s a real disease that people have. When people are addicted to the high of certain situations it’s hard to get rid of.” What’s really next for Quinn Perkins though? She leaves us with the following statement; “This season, I’ve done stuff that I’ve never done as an actress, or as a person in my real life.”

IT’S LATE SEPTEMBER IN THE CITY OF ANGELS…THE WEATHER ALWAYS DELIVERS…IT’S ALMOST EXPECTED… IT’S UNSEASONABLY WARM…DRY, CALM AND CLEAR…THE BAROMETER IS STANDING HIGH AND WARM LAZY AFTERNOONS TURN INTO SENSUAL BALMY NIGHTS… THIS IS A WEATHER PHENOMENON WE ANGELINOS HAVE KNOWN TO APPRECIATE…IT’S A CALIFORNIAN INDIAN SUMMER…SOME PEOPLE THINK IT’S THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR, FOR SOME IT’S THE LAST CHANCE TO SOAK UP THE LAST RAYS OF SUN AND ENJOY EVERYTHING THE OUTDOORS HAS TO OFFER… THIS IS A CITY WHERE THE WEATHER IS HOT…BUT IT’S PEOPLE ARE EVEN HOTTER… My name is Luigi Irauzqui, Celebrity Interior Designer and Global Style Guru with a mission to style and entertain even the most discerning of clients. The task at hand: to throw a lavish party at a private mansion tucked away in a secret Hollywood Hills hideaway….an array of good friends that include LA’s hottest models and up and coming actors to join in to celebrate in true Hollywood Bohemian grandeur our never ending summer ! After the sting of the hot summer days have settled, it was the perfect time to bring the indoors out and create some sexy outdoor space where my guests could take full advantage of the raw beauty of nature, celebrate and dine al fresco and soak in those last rays of sun. I wanted my guests to relax and luxuriate on chaise lounges and piles of cushions in a medley of brilliant shades reminiscent of Middle Eastern spices; with virgin Alpaca spreads in patterned Indian brights. The jewel tones in the clothing; turquoise, yellows, fuchsias, emeralds and purples made a vibrant palette to compliment the decadent furnishings and accessories that were brought in specially for this event. As the pool patio is illuminated by sumptuous scented Turkish candlelight, a fabulous table is set for dusk, using natural elements found in the garden, bright yellow roses, bougainvillea, fragrant lemon leaves and foliage from palm trees and the overgrown Birds of Paradise.

The house was designed in the 1920’s with an emphasis on entertaining so it didn’t take much to get our guests into the spirit of this swinging era. The Art Deco-inspired clothing in a kaleidoscope of colors complemented the distinct Moorish and Syrian influenced furnishings; with patterns over patterns and strong ethnic accents, taking full advantage of this year’s biggest design trend yet - color, color, color! Inspired by the décor, the party treats and the “Beverly Hills Hotel” pink-painted inspired walls, my guests took on a persona of their own and aspired to play their alter egos. From sultry Middle Eastern princesses to cool Hitchcock blondes, from dashing suave leading men, to exotic South American sirens –Hollywood classics such as, The Great Gatsby, Romeo & Juliet, Sunset Boulevard, The Sting, Cabaret and A Star Is Born were channeled into the fabric of the evening. Having a chance to experience the romance and chivalry of an era gone by. Decorating is all about having fun…it’s about turning good ideas into great spaces…when it comes to decorating, everything goes ! This party was definitely a memorable event that brought all the elements together: from the party venue, to the décor, the table settings to the flowers and specially to our beautiful guests, it truly was an unforgettable weekend that is bound to be remembered until our next one. As the warm night and the Californian Indian summer dwindles down, the guests gather around the flickering wood burning firepit as smouldering breazy days give way to chillier nights in the Canyon. Autum is in the air….but then again, this is California… Weather forecast tomorrow, clear and sunny, 78 degrees with 0% chance of rain…

Sarah Dumont Reaching 5’7” by age 12, ocean blue eyes and silky blonde hair, Sarah Dumont’s beauty is the essence of a flawless model. Understandable, therefore, she was scouted to peruse a modelling career at the youthful age of 14. After eight years jetting to idyllic photographic backdrops, Sarah made the courageous decision to let modeling take a backseat whilst undertaking acting. Fascinated in her career alteration, I posed curiosity in her professional interests, her response, “I wanna do something that makes me happy, so that work isn’t work. Make a good living at it and have fun doing it”. I couldn’t help but admire the simplicity in her answer, the humble prospect.

In recent months, Sarah’s profession has all the exhilaration you’d expect from a parttime model and committed actress. Completing a campaign for ‘Vitamin A Swimwear’, she’s also starred in Joseph GordonLevitt’s, ‘Don Jon’ who’s premier encroaches October 27th. Furthermore, appearing on an episode of ‘Mixology’, a new ABC show airing in fall. Hearing the vivacious excitement in her tone as she discusses filming, she exclaims, “I love comedy. I think I could live and die on a comedy set”. Chuckling to herself she continues, sharing an anecdote from the set, “I had no idea who the director was by name, and when I met him, I realized it was Michael McDonald from mad TV, which I grew up watching! So I was fighting the urge to ask him to do the Stewart impression all day”.
Noting her energy when vocalizing acting roles, I wondered if her passion for modeling was as abundant. Having spoken about her qualms within the industry, I enquire about the positives in her modeling gigs. Sarah begins, “Getting paid”. Giggling to herself, she follows up, “No, I’m just joking”. With Sarah’s infectious and uncontained laughter, I notice her humor seeping into her answers. I imagine it represents her approach on set, the friendly banter refreshing on an eighthour workday, and I appreciate her previous comment about wanting to live and die on a comedy set. “No, the really fun part about modeling is when you get to create an image and get to be part of that...The light, the set, the clothes, the hair, the make up, the energy, and creation of it.” BEAUTY BREAKDOWN – ORIBE PRODUCTS Sarah, now 23, has nine years of experience in one of the most scrutinized and competitive industries to break. Not only managing that, she’s had a successful twoyear acting career, with more approaching. Tackling these demanding industries, I asked Sarah how her life could alter if she hadn’t gone down either path, “My life wouldn’t be the same at all if I didn’t do one or the other”. “Modeling taught me to be strong and thick skinned, and acting really taught me to open up, and I’m learning so much about myself. One of my favorite product ever is the Creme The Rose. It is a fabulous lip balm who cure smooth and restore the natural beauty of the lips the secret is the precious and rare Damask rose. I love the scent and the taste of it. Embryolisse Lait Creme As far as I remember embryolisse has always been part of my life. My mother used it as a make up remover then my father as an after shave and me as a moisturizer. When I found it on Net-a porter I couldn’t believe my eyes, it felt like I was reunited with a long lost sister. Anyway I love it so much that I stock on it in case it goes away. DIOR VERSUS CHANEL WHO HAS THE BEST NAIL POLISH FALL COLLECTION ? DIOR Mystic magnetic three new color for fall Galaxie, Destin. I was very excited to try those new color when I got them I was disappointed, especially with Destin I was hoping for a romantic rose passe, instead it’s a more of a grayish color, not bad at all but not what I hoped for. With Galaxie I was looking for a vibrant redish pink but once applied again nothing of what I expected.
CHANEL Les moires : Rose moire forget dior disappointment let’s try Chanel very similar color. It look fabulous in the pictures and in the bottle once on it’s a very soft pink, I like it better than the dior because of the lack of gray, it applies well and look very subtile. Chanel Rouge moire. Here same story that the one with Galaxie at Dior it looks amazing in the bottle but once apply it looks more pinkish than red disappointing as well.
I am truly not a green lover per say but I kept the memory of the fabulous Kaki green color that Chanel created for fashion week couple of years ago so I gave a try to Alchimie a green with gold shine in it, result not for me at all, the coverage is not too good and the color not rich enough. Then I tried mysterious a dark green, truth is I am completely obsessed with the color, I love it elegant yet sophisticated but look amazing with jeans. My fav for the season.

We caught up with Blake to find out more about this hot up and comer... Bello: To what do you attribute the success you’ve had in such a short span of time since moving to Los Angeles? Blake Jenner: Going from “The Perfect Parrot” (that’s what it was called :)) to being on such a cool show and winning that award, I was just grateful to everyone. My family, my friends, all the great people at work. Without everyone and everything I don’t think any of it would’ve been possible. You definitely need a positive family/unit. What do you do in your downtime to stay so fit? BJ: When I get the chance, I really love to run and then right after get some good lifting in. Then of course follow all that up with some healthy meals and protein. Bello: You recently appeared on an episode of FOX’s ‘Masterchef’ is Blake Jenner secretly a budding culinary star? If so, what are your cooking specialties?

BJ: I WISH. The closest thing to culinary experience I have is making oatmeal and cereal. I need to get better at that though. Bello: Who are your comedy heroes that made you want to pursue this path? BJ: When I was a lot younger, I saw Jim Carrey in “Dumb and Dumber.” I thought “I wanna do that! That looks fun!” From then, I was always trying to be the class clown and make people laugh. A little later that evolved into acting and studying, but as a comedic influence, it was definitely Jim Carrey growing up!

He doesn’t have the best home life, he’s in with the wrong crowd, and takes part in crimes. Billy is conscious of how terrible these things are, but he’s been beaten down by life so much that he’s just numb. He meets a girl who shows him a second chance at life, but when things are going well, his old life doesn’t let him go. It’s definitely a story of hope. SC: It’s true I felt burned out, and wanted to quit the business. I went to India and picked up a guitar and wrote music and realized through songwriting that this was my way into my artistry again. And that’s when I formed SanguinDrake. We have a new E.P. coming out soon. XG: The first role I remember seeing you in was Evie on the wonderful ‘Undeclared’. SC: Early on, I was called into Judd Apatow’s office, with Seth Rogen, and they just wanted to talk to me about character ideas. Those guys were so rad. My love interest on the show was Charlie Hunnam, so I thought I’d died and gone to Heaven. (laughs) And then the show was canceled! XG: Let’s talk about ‘Falling Skies’. I am totally glued to it, and your character, Maggie.
SC: Every season gets better and better. This season is a whole new set of writers, and they’ve taken us all out of our comfort zone and surprised us with what they’re doing with our characters and the show in general. I love playing Maggie. This role made me excited about acting again. XG: Maggie’s relationship with Hal (Drew Roy) is both wonderful and kind of odd since they’re coming from such different worlds, and there’s the major age gap. SC: It’s interesting to me because like Maggie, a lot of my girlfriends are going out with younger guys. I think it has something to do with younger guys being attracted to women they can trust. To younger men, older women are more fully formed human beings. XG: Steven Spielberg is Executive Producer of ‘Falling Skies’. Any interesting stories about working with him? SC: I’ll never forget in Season One when I received a call from (Executive Producer) Greg Beeman saying that Steven Spielberg really liked my work. What a feeling! This whole show is a fantasy come true.

HOLLY CONLAN DISCUSSES TOUR DATES, ALBUM RELEASES AND MUSIC VIDEOS. IF YOU’RE CAPTIVATED BY SHOWS SUCH AS, ‘90210’AND ‘ONE TREE HILL’, THERE’S A LIKELIHOOD YOU’VE HEARD HOLLY CONLAN’S MUSIC MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, WITHOUT POSSIBLY KNOWING IT. BUT WITH HER NEW SINGLE ‘STAY AND PLAY’ RECENTLY OUT, AN ALBUM RELEASE OCTOBER 22ND AND LA TOUR DATES APPROACHING, YOU’RE DAMN SURE TO RECOGNIZE HER MUSIC IN THE FUTURE. How do you feel about the recent release of your new single ‘Stay and Play?’ I’m ecstatic. It’s thrilling to finally have people hear something from the new record! How was it working alongside actor David Anders in the new music video for the track? It was a joy. David is as sweet as pie and a magnificent energy to have on set. Also, he’s a good friend of mine, which made it easy for me to pretend we were an item for 2 days straightrather than some stranger. I won’t lie I’m no actor. 3. Your new album ‘The Sirens’ is out on October 22nd How was it to play the role of producer this time around? Were you apprehensive at all or did you feel ready for it? I felt ready for it. Honestly, I didn’t produce the whole thing myself there were a number of other more qualified and experienced hands in there to bring it to life... but, taking on that role in any aspect was liberating and exhilarating. I had a very specific vision for this record, so it was pretty natural to take on much of the producing.

What made you start a Kickstart er campaign? I was at a bit of a standstill. I basically had no funds to make this record come to fruition and it costs a lot to make and release a record the right way. I battled with the idea for quite some time, but at the end of the day I realized it might actually be rewarding to invite people into that process. How do you think kickstarter helped you? Did it have a positive effect? Of course it had a positive effect! We raised over $15,000, without which we probably wouldn’t be putting out ‘The Sirens’. Plus, I think it was really refreshing to connect with fans and supporters in a new way. What is your favorite song on your new album? I don’t think I have one, truthfully. They’re all my little babies and I feel connected to each one for very deep and different reasons. You have some tour dates in LA coming up; do you feel a differ ent energy playing in your home town of LA compared to touring elsewhere? Definitely... I think there’s positive and negative sides to it. I feel a specific kind of support here, especially when old friends and my family come outit’s comforting. But sometimes I worry about playing the same songs at the same venues in front of the same people all the time. I don’t want people to tire of me... But so far, so good. I think... Do you find you get a different re action from fans when you play in LA compared to anywhere else? I think LA is a pretty over stimulated city so it can be difficult to
get people to slow down and take a chance on something they haven’t already been told is “good”. On the flip side, I feel a lot of loyalty and love from the city I’ve called home my entire life. Others are great for different reasonsit’s a mixed bag, but every city has it’s form of appreciation and support. New York is a favorite of mine to playthere’s an energy there that is simply unparalleled. Are you excited for your up and coming show dates? Very much. I am overjoyed to be playing these Hotel Cafe shows to ring in the release of ‘The Sirens’. I’ve worked so long and hard for this and I’m ecstatic to play it all live for people. You only have LA dates at the mo ment; do you plan on adding any other national or international tour dates at some point in the future? In the future, yes. No definite tour plan at the moment, but of course we want to tour with this record all over the planet! You’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with some amaz ing acts such as Sara Barellies (who we know is a good friend of yours), Laura Jansen, Colby Caillat and Katy Perry. How does it differ touring with those acts compared to your own personal tours? Being an opening act for someone like Sara Bareilles is simply a dream. The crowds are gigantic and the theaters are inspiring. My own personal tours and shows are a bit on a smaller scale, but just as special and important. Strangely, performing in front of a smaller, intimate crowd can be far more intimidating that playing in front of 5,000 people.

It’s easy to fall into a daze when thinking about how a situation is affecting you, ironically, the only way out of that daze is to think about how you’re affecting the situation. When you see the whole picture the solution is obvious. #dontplayerhate
Well, isn’t someone the popular one! Okay. It is your birthday or birthweek. Or, birthmonth because it’s October, and we know when the real Libras were born, yeah! So joking. But, anyway, being this popular will lead to many new opportunities. Instead of looking for ways that don’t match up with your expectations, look for ways they do. Good change will follow.

Normally, Scorpio, you’d be advised to sting only in defense. But this month could be a bit of a challenge. Difficult people everywhere you look. Just this once, you’d be advised to sting away. They deserve it.

You know you’re awesome, but do you know how many other people know that you’re awesome. You rarely consider how awesome you are to other people, think about that this week and reach out and touch base...aka loved ones. They miss you.

You created something big, Capricorn, so big and so important that you’re afraid to put it out into the world. You’re afraid of judgment and failure. You’re missing the point, it’s bigger than that, so big its impact on the world somehow trumps a coupleat most negative critiques ‘bout you. Get over yourself.
If a bear can hibernate for three whole months straight, no food, hardly ever waking but for water and using the little bears room, then you can take a day to sleep in, get a massage, and maybe even see a movie. I promise Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it didn’t fall down in one either. Do you, kid!
There is some aspect of yourself you are completely unhappy with, whether it’s a relationship, your eating habits, or your work, you know exactly how to get where you want to be because you’ve done it over and over. And every time it involves you being negative towards yourself... but what IF you could be happy as you’re achieving this goal again. Then you get a double win... A twofer, if you will.
You, Aries, are so often the miracle in other peoples lives, yet, somehow, you can’t believe in a miracle happening in your own life. Believe in miracles more often. You are living, breathing, proof of their existence.

It’s what IS, not the stories you’ve MADE up. Get outta your shell. It’s pretty awesome out here. Everyone claims they have the best taste in music. But, you, Leo? You secretly do. You have so many songs on so many devices and you listen all the time. This month be excited to make some time to make some music of your own. You are a creator. #Phillme?
