Cheat Codes

Good vibes? Check. Great styles? Check. Fire Burning Within? Check. Are You Ready For This?

The vibrant trio, CHEAT CODES, is about to release Part I of their three-part debut album, Hellraisers. Named after the nickname their late manager, Michael Theanne, gave them, the album holds a special place in their hearts. “He always just supported us every time we had an idea, or wanted to get something done,” shared Trevor. “We would be hanging out at his house with his beautiful baby and his beautiful wife,” added Matt. “He was just one of those managers that felt like family.” And as Kevi ended, “He was like one of our brothers.” Family, love, and support...what more could you ask for?

Evidently, the boys avoid going “by the book” as they channel their own creativity and push the boundaries of music. Trevor, Matt, and Kevi all come from different musical backgrounds, which they will be able to showcase through the different parts of the album. As Matt explained, “Kevi used to do hip-hop, rap. I used to actually make beats for him back in the day and Trevor used to do acoustic music.” A beautiful blend of musical talents, the trio is also collaborating with renowned artists such as Tinashe, Au/Ra, and more. With 30 songs set to release, this will be the most music the boys have ever put out in a year! Before becoming an official trio, the boys were on their own paths which, as fate would have it, would intersect time after time. “I met Matt when I was sixteen,” shared Trevor. “I was 17

touring around the country in a van playing acoustic music.” And it was in a St. Louis Cicceros Pizza where the two artists, who were both performing there that night, met. A few years later, through a mutual friend, they met again in Los Angeles where Matt’s first words were: “Hey! We met in Cicceros Pizza. What a small world!” Soon enough, it would become official that Matt was the ringleader in all the boys getting together. “Before social media was really a thing you would go to pop punk shows and you would network,” he shared. “That was kind of the way and that is how I met Kevi.” At the time, Matt was working at a studio and in came Kevi in need of some beats for his rap! Unfortunately, they had some issues with the producer on the project which led to them taking him to small claims court...and they won! “A “Judge Judy” type of show had even offered for us to be on one of their episodes,” chimed in Kevi. Ha! How funny would that have been! “You have to meet Kevi. He is going to be my best friend, you are going to love this guy” were the first words Trevor heard when picking up a phone call from Matt. An unusual call it was as he had never heard him talk about someone like that...ever. “It was like fate,” Trevor added with a smile. “We just skipped all the steps.” When he landed in L.A. and started rooming with Matt, CHEAT CODES had already been

set in motion...one more addition and boom! The dynamic trio was created and not too long after, they released their first single “Visions.” This was a very exciting time for the boys as thanks to Kevi’s friend, they were introduced to the DJ world, something they had never thought of before. You see, each of these boys were not only performing non-dance music, they also had grown up in more of a world of punk/pop/ rock. For all of them, it was around the early stages of their teens that they discovered their true love and passion for music. Trevor and Kevi were part of families that were big into music and Matt had known from the age of nine that he wanted to be part of this world as he played the Backstreet Boys Millenium CD over and over again. What really solidified his choice of career was when, after attending a “First To Last” show (which was the band Skrillex originally started in), “we had a short convo where he got on the Tour Bus after, kind of drove away and I was like this is what I want to do!” Matt exclaimed. Living the life, yeah! For Trevor, it was his first live show where he saw “+44” and “The Matches,” that he knew this could become a career for him. And lastly, Kevi’s brother was in a rock band and after seeing them on tour, “I thought, wow this is a cool lifestyle,” he shared with a laugh. And thus three young musicians had come alive! Now, over 10 years later, they find themselves living out those childhood dreams as they have already collabed with amazing talent, put on spectacular shows, and continue to create music in the most natural way. Luckily, most of the artists they have worked with have always linked smoothly. “Being able to work with

artists that have something to offer and have their own sound and style is really important to us and being able to make something special and unique,” shared Trevor candidly. And that also goes for when the boys create music just them three… Always open to what others have to bring to the table, it’s their openness to it all which, in my opinion, makes them stand out! Being able to work so beautifully with each other and other artists is where the magic truly happens and when they perform… it shows. Speaking of performances, there are some shows in particular that stood out for the trio. The first one being Lollapalooza in Chicago... Set against the skyline with one of the biggest crowds they have ever seen, they were mesmerized. As Kevi added, “It was so sick because Chicago goes hard for us every time we go down there.” After the release of “No Promises” featuring Demi Lovato, they played the Jingle Ball Show in Madison Square Garden which “was wild.” Lastly, as Matt pointed out, their international shows also have a special place in their hearts… “Dance music and music, in general, is a global thing and if you can appeal to everyone around the world it is a very special feeling,” he continued. “Especially when their first language is not English and they are singing your songs!” Goosebumps. CHEAT CODES is a trio made from heaven as their worlds melded together oh so perfectly. Both in their personalities and musical talents, Trevor, Matt, and Kevi have created something like no other as they continue to transcend through time and in the world of music. Excited to share all three parts of Hellraisers, the boys will also be launching a new podcast on their Youtube Channel so keep an eye out! Let’s get this party started!

JENNA ANDREWS

JENNA ANDREWS: HEALING THROUGH MUSIC JENNA ANDREWS IS NOT ONLY AN EXTREMELY TALENTED ARTIST, BUT SHE ALSO ALLOWS OTHERS TO HAVE A VOICE THANKS TO "THE GREEN ROOM." IN THESE EPISODES, SHE TAKES ON TOPICS SURROUNDING MENTAL HEALTH AS SHE STARTS UP CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHERS IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY WHO STRUGGLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES OR HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT IT. INSPIRING MANY TO SPEAK UP AND VOICE OUT THEIR THOUGHTS AND CONCERNS, JENNA BRINGS ON HOPE AND LIGHT FOR THE FUTURE. MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT HER LATEST EPISODE AT THE END OF THE INTERVIEW!

As an artist, what does music bring to your life (both good and bad)? Growing up, what role did it play in your life?

Who is someone you worked with that had a strong impact on how you perceive the industry? the world? yourself?

For me, music is everything. It has, without any doubt, been my lifeline since I was a young child. It has gotten me through so many emotional struggles and tough times, including an eating disorder as a teenager. For obvious reasons, I wanted to create a platform in which we could discuss the important relationship between mental health and music.

I have definitely been influenced by a ton of different people throughout the years. The music industry can come with a lot of hardships and letdowns. Those experiences have really made me build a thicker skin and choose my relationships wisely. I’ve learned that trusting your gut, working with genuinely good people, and choosing to work on projects that make you happy are the most important things. If it doesn’t feel right, you shouldn’t do it, even if it means giving up a major opportunity.

What pushed you to pursue a career in the entertainment industry? Was there a person/ place/thing that inspired you to do so ? Looking back, what would you have done differently in the beginning?

I’VE LEARNED THAT TRUSTING YOUR GUT, WORKING WITH GENUINELY GOOD PEOPLE, AND CHOOSING TO WORK ON PROJECTS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS.

There is a lot that went into the person that I am today and the career that I’ve built. However, if I had to boil it down to one moment, I would say that the purchase of my first ever mini piano at 5 years old was pivotal. From then on, I knew that music was my destiny and that I would stop at nothing to make it my full time job. Looking back, I honestly wouldn't change anything. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason, and so far I’ve been lucky enough to end up where I originally wanted to be as a young kid playing the piano for the first time.

23

Tell us more about the meaning/ inspiration behind “The Green Room.” Did a personal experience push you to create this?

Mental health is something that is very important to me, as I’ve personally dealt with anxiety for as long as I can remember. I faced a lot of bullying as a kid which in turn led to an eating disorder and some pretty severe anxiety. As a creative, I’ve found it very difficult to deal with the repercussions of my anxiety and know so many other creatives that go through the same struggles. I decided to create a platform to speak on these issues as I felt that they weren't being talked about enough. The Green Room represents

a “backstage” or behind the scenes look into the individuals within the entertainment industries that deal with mental health issues on a daily basis and find solace in creating and sharing their stories. In addition, the color green is associated with mental health awareness, and I felt that it was very fitting when coming up with “The Green Room” as the title of my platform. How do you prep for an episode? What is your favorite part of being part of this? I don’t really like to prep too much because I prefer for each episode to be raw in terms of the conversations that my guests and I share. We do, however, have a pre-call or “dress rehearsal” call where myself, the guest, and the therapist get acquainted with one another. There are never any specific questions that are written; we tend to bounce off of each other’s energy and go on from there. You have the upcoming Blu DeTiger episode of The Green Room coming out. Share with us what it was like discussing the ups and downs of

Bello

being a creative during the pandemic, and how anxiety and other factors can play into creative productivity. Funny enough, creating through the pandemic was actually very productive and healing for me, especially at the beginning. Although everything switched over to Zoom, I was able to build some very strong relationships with fellow creatives during these crazy times that we are all sharing as humans. I know that a lot of people struggled with the switch to “remote writing”, Blu being one of them. She described that it was very hard for her to bond with fellow creatives without sharing that in-person connection. In addition, as an upcoming artist that had never played a live show, the pandemic hit especially hard because she was trying to create new content for a fan base that she hadn’t gotten to fully interact with in person. In terms of anxiety, it’s a huge factor when it comes to writing. Whether you’re focusing on a specific topic or subconsciously having those ideas come to the surface, I feel that anxiety is always driving us as creatives to get our emotion out through songwriting.

issue #209

24

What were some answers that resonated with you? Listening to it, it’s clear that many artists struggle with this. How have you overcome your own anxiety (etc)? I can honestly say that I have not overcome my anxiety, and that it’s not something you ever fully overcome, no matter how hard you try. It’s something that you have to learn how to cope with; you find your own methods to subdue the anxiety. There were a lot of answers / moments that resonated with me. Every episode is so great, I feel like everyone really connects and there are always so many great questions and topics that we receive and address. Afterwards, I usually receive a lot of supportive messages on how my platform has helped others get through their struggles. For me, that’s the most important thing. It brings us together as humans and allows us to address our issues in a safe and productive way.

Share with us a story where you felt yourself being empowered further. For me, it’s empowering when people put me down, make me feel crappy, or turn me away. Without mentioning any specific story, I can tell you that there have been moments like that throughout my career that have pushed me to fight harder, prove the doubters wrong, and work until I get where I truly want to be. What do you believe your purpose is? I believe that my purpose is to inspire young women that have aspirations similar to mine. I want them to know that they can achieve anything that they set their minds to as long as they are willing to put in the work. Through my experiences and my platform, I hope to keep inspiring these young minds while helping them pave a path to success.

What advice would you give to up and coming artists? I would advise that they stay driven, authentic, and always work towards their goals. They don't say 10,000 hours for nothing! When I first moved out of my hometown I didn't have a social life, all I did was work on my music. I would lock myself in my room each and every weekend and continue to work, only leaving when I needed to go out and get food. Whether it was practicing the guitar for 11 hours a day or trying to get better at writing songs, I always wanted to challenge myself, and it took true determination and a thick layer of skin to keep pushing towards my goals. I would recommend that same mindset and determination for anyone that is seriously considering a career in this field.

YOUNG Bello Hollywood

DANCING AWAY WITH KEVIN QUINN KEVIN QUINN, WHO STARS IN THE RECENTLY RELEASED NETFLIX FILM, "A WEEK AWAY," IS DANCING HIS WAY TO THE TOP AS HE BRINGS HIS VOCAL, CHOREOGRAPHY, AND ACTING SKILLS TOGETHER. AS AN ACTOR, YOU FIND YOURSELF GOING TO COUNTLESS AUDITIONS HOPING TO GET THE PART AND ONE DAY, AS HE WAS SITTING ON HIS COUCH AT HOME, HE GOT THE CALL THAT HE BOOKED THE ROLE. BEFORE JUMPING UP AND DOWN, HE ASKED TO READ THE SCRIPT WHICH LED TO A CHANGE FROM THE ROLE OF "SEAN" TO HIS OFFICIAL ROLE OF "WILL." VERY BIG ON FAMILY, KEVIN BRINGS TO LIFE ANY CHARACTER HE TAKES ON AND CONTINUES TO EMBRACE EVERYTHING LIFE TO OFFER. IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, GET SOME POPCORN, KICK BACK, AND MAKE SURE TO WATCH "A WEEK AWAY!"

What was a moment at the beginning of filming “A Week Away” that set the tone for the rest of the production? Why was it so special? In my opinion, it was the rehearsal process that really set the tone. Usually, actors are thrown onto set and expected to know their character’s backstory or lines, and the opportunity to rehearse with a director before shooting is rare. Most productions simply don’t have the time to rehearse, as shooting is a quick and efficient process. With ‘A Week Away,’ we had an entire 3 weeks before shooting to delve into things such as our characters, their backstories, and their relationships with other characters - you know, script analysis in general. That rehearsal time was imperative to the success of our film, and it helped us as a cast to become closer. In retrospect, that was probably the most memorable and special part for me. Where were you when you first got the call that you booked the role? What was your reaction? What did you do? I was living in Marina del Rey at the time, so I was at home reading other scripts and preparing for other auditions. It takes countless auditions to book one role, because more often than not, you won’t be right for that particular character. So just like every other working actor, my downtime is spent preparing for

45

not only the next audition but the next one after that. That said, because of how many auditions actors go on before getting a role, I definitely wasn’t expecting that call when it came…but when I got it, my first question was for my manager, asking if he could get a hold of the script for me to read. Most people don’t know this, but I was originally offered the part of ‘Sean’ in that production, as I had auditioned for that role first. My decision to read the script before committing to that role ended up being invaluable because that first read was when I realized I was more in the vein of ‘Will’ than ‘Sean.’ So to my fellow actors, read your scripts! Growing up, did you ever see yourself becoming an actor? Share with us your different dreams and what led you to pursuing this career. It’s funny, I remember when I was 8 years old and in the third grade, I would tell my classmates that I wanted to be an actor when I grew up. I was strangely into classic cinema at a young age, and I even remember discussing film with a close friend at the time who was also interested in the art form. The thing is, we weren’t talking about children’s movies or amateur kids’ productions of which we necessarily fit the demo, we would talk shop about directors like Peter Jackson after seeing King Kong, or strong lead performances like Jodie Foster in Brian Grazer’s Flightplan. My point is, for an 8 year-old kid, I had

April 2021

an interest in some really heavy-hitting, artsy films that any other kid probably wouldn’t care for. I look back on that time as indicative of what the future would hold. I guess I always knew that performing was what I was meant to do. I even have a picture from when I wrote “movie star” as my dream job in a class time capsule that I buried back in 2005. Tell us about an embarrassing/funny moment on set of “A Week Away.” Oh boy, where do I even begin…there’s a lot of them. I’ll start by saying this, I am a naturally energetic person, so I get super hyped when I am filming a project - it’s my sort of creative “zone,” and I just get overly excited. So part of the fun for me on set is getting to mess around with other actors, but that usually only happens if they’re similar in age…so ‘A Week Away’ was perfect for jokes and pranks. I remember stealing a golf cart from the transport department one day on set and picking up my fellow cast members for a joyride. Production was kind enough to let me off the hook with a warning, but let’s just say those kinds of days were pretty frequent during filming…the whole experience was a lot of fun. Do you remember the first singing performance you have ever given? Describe. The first singing performance I ever gave was in a community theatre production when I was 13. It was daunting being the first time, but that part is overshadowed in my memory by the amount of fun I had when I first did it. It was a huge rush for me, and I guess I’ve always felt pretty comfortable in front of an audience. The next time after that was in my freshman chorus class, and the next time after that was American Idol when I was a sophomore in high school. Here today, the last time I sang live was on a 42 city national arena tour, so going from a 99 seat community theatre to 21,000 at the State Farm Arena sort of forced me to take a step back and soak it all in…it’s been a fun ride. Who or what pushed you to also become a singer? In all honesty, I always felt that I was a singer before I was

Bello

"IN ALL HONESTY, I ALWAYS FELT THAT I WAS A SINGER BEFORE I WAS AN ACTOR"

an actor. I’ve been singing around the house since what feels like forever, so in that way, it felt natural to me - even part of my identity growing up, because I was good at it! Acting was a learned thing for me, and I didn’t really figure it out until I was a bit older. Ironically though, after American Idol, my singing career took a backseat to acting, because I started to get better at it and book more professional gigs. Nothing’s changed in terms of my singing ability, but the acting just sort of picked up speed faster. But now it’s great, because I’m finally revisiting the music I’ve always wanted to do, and I’m just as strong of an actor as I am a singer. So really it has always been me pushing myself to do both, but why not? Justin Timberlake has done alright… As a kid, what was your family dynamic like? What was your favorite moment spent with them. I have always been very close to my family. My parents have been married for over 28 years, and they even relocated to Los Angeles to be with me when my career took off. For them to uproot themselves and move halfway across the country meant a lot, and my sister is now in LA too. There have been a lot of laughs, fun times, and memories, but I think the best part about growing up in my parents’ household was that they never discouraged chasing our dreams, and even held us to it. They fostered a creative environment for my sister and I to explore our interests, and performing was definitely one of mine. My sister Courtney even entered the industry after falling in love with it, and she now works film marketing. Overall, I think my parents’ support has been crucial to my success. Where do you hope to go next with your career? On the film side, my hope is to continue taking bigger and heavier roles. I look up to a lot of leading men in Hollywood, and I dream of leading large, big-budget

productions one day. I guess time will tell, right? As for the music, once my new stuff is released, I would love to finally do my own tour. I got a chance to experience that for the first time in early 2020, and I fell in love with it. Waking up on a bus in a new city every day may not sound fun for some people, but for me it was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to do it again. If you could pick a song to describe how you are feeling about 2021 what would it be and why? Hm, that’s a tough one. There’s just so many! If I had to choose, I would pick Come Together by The Beatles, or Where Is The Love by the Black Eyed Peas. I’ve always been a huge fan of both those groups, and I think their songs are the definition of timeless. Furthermore, with all that’s happened due to the pandemic, as well as the racial and social injustices that are currently happening in America, I’ve taken those songs to have new meaning. If anything, I hope 2021 is a year of coming together and spreading more love. Aren’t we all yearning for that right now? Any projects on the horizon? I’m always looking for new film projects…but right now, I’m very focused on my music career. ‘A Week Away’ served as the perfect catalyst for me to be reintroduced to that side of things, and I’m eager to finally release my own music - separate from the film. I also now have a record deal with Capitol, and they have been so involved and invested, which is all I could have asked for in a label partner. Under their guidance, I can confidently say that the music that's on the way is among the best I’ve done yet. My wish is that fans are able to relate, and even fall in love with my music.

JORDAN EMANUEL

MODEL, ENTREPRENEUR & HUMANITARIAN, JORDAN EMANUEL IS HERE TO GIVE A VOICE TO THE VOICELESS. THROUGH HER BEAUTY AND PASSION, SHE HAS OPENED HER HEART TO THE WORLD AS SHE AIMS TO MAKE IT BETTER A LITTLE MORE EVERY DAY. BEING NAMED PLAYMATE OF THE YEAR AS WELL AS MISS BLACK AMERICA NEW YORK, JORDAN IS ALSO THE CO-FOUNDER OF "WOMEN WITH VOICES." TACKLING ALL AREAS IN LIFE AND F HER CAREER, SHE IS AN INSPIRATION TO ALL.

Throughout your career, what has been your biggest accomplishment up until now and why? What did this one, in particular, mean to you? Truthfully, I don’t know. Being named the last ever Playmate of the Year was definitely major and not so much for the title, but because of what it meant to women that look like me and the messages I’ve received from that point onward about what it’s meant to them. Growing up, what did you always dream of becoming/doing? What role do you believe you play in this world? Your purpose? My dream was to be a fashion designer. I believe the role I play is to help people have the courage to follow their dreams and know that there is enough space for them to have what they want and aspire to be. Life is so short, I’ve learned that from experiencing a lot of loss, with that lesson it’s become so important to me that people live their life to the highest capacity. Tell us more about your experience being named Miss Black America New York. What was the experience like? Who was someone that helped you throughout that time? It was an experience I never thought I would have, I was never a pageant girl and still don’t consider myself to be one, title and all. Ultimately, I met some of my best friends through that experience and I will always hold it

close to my heart. My cousin was Miss Black America 2014 and she held my hand through the process. Share with us what Women With Voices is. What does it mean to you? How do you hope it will help others? Women with Voices is a women’s empowerment nonprofit based out of Brooklyn, New York. To me it’s a unique space where women’s empowerment isn’t just limited to women supporting women, we also highlight and embrace men who uplift women as well. Philanthropy has always been an important part of my life as helping people is one of my most fulfilling activities Why did you choose to focus on Mental Health Awareness and Sexual Education & Liberation? They were topics I had personal experience with I’ve suffered from anxiety for decades now, I’ve gone through depression and continue to find strategies and coping mechanisms, so I felt it was important to shed light on those struggles and provide options for support for others as well. Sexual Education and Liberation stemmed from a program I did in high school called HiTops where we went to different schools to speak with kids about sexuality, gender, safe sex, and their bodies as they go through hormonal changes. I felt it was important for women to have access to that same knowledge while also learning to feel

comfortable and empowered in their own skin. Has a personal experience with this pushed you to start this foundation? I’ve always been involved in philanthropy, even as a young child. To me, it was second nature to expand that into my own lane. In what ways can others help? What do you believe is one of the biggest challenges our world faces today and how should we overcome it? I think we have a hard time letting people just live their lives without imposing and projecting our own insecurities, fears, and unsolicited opinions onto others, which is a horrible habit that has led to the suppression of so many groups of people and individuals. For starters, everyone needs to read the book, The Four Agreements, it’s a game-changer. After that, everyone needs to put in the effort and time to educate themselves and break down those fearful thoughts and actions they’re projecting. What do the next 5 years look like? I’m hoping the next 5 years will bring a successful swimwear line, 844SWIM, which will be launching this year. I hope to see Women with Voices reach international levels where we have different chapters in different countries. And I hope to expand my level of reach in terms of how I can help fund other people's aspirations.

ARIELA BARER

STARRING IN THE RECENTLY RELEASED SERIES, REBEL, ARIELA BARER PLAYS THE ROLE OF "ZIGGY." INSPIRED AND MOTIVATED BY THE STORY AND THE REST OF THE CAST, THE YOUNG ACTRESS PUT THE BEST OF HERSELF INTO PREPARING AND ACTING HER CHARACTER. HAVING BEEN A BIT OF A REBEL HERSELF, BACK IN THE DAY ARIELA CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT PROJECTS COME NEXT AS SHE CONTINUES TO BUILD HERSELF A LITTLE MORE EVERY DAY BOTH AS AN ACTRESS AND AS AN INDIVIDUAL! STAY TUNED!

How are you feeling about being part of “Rebel”? What are you most excited about it? Honestly, so good! I’m really excited to see what people take away from it. Each character is so interesting with such a distinct perspective it’ll be so fun to see what the audience gets from it. In what ways do you relate to your character? I think Ziggy is very quietly sensitive in a way I’m kind of discovering I am too. Just someone who internalizes the things happening around her whether she vocalizes her feelings or not it always affects her very deeply, and drives her to act down the line. Who was someone you connected with strongly on set? What did they teach you?

Prepping for a role I’m not sure about takes many forms. I often have to adjust my process according to the circumstances of every project. So no concrete answer there, just vibes. What does acting mean to you? My relationship with acting is ever changing and transforming as I grow and change. Right now I love to be part of telling a larger story, especially one I care about so much. Share with us a story of a time you were rebellious.

"MY RELATIONSHIP WITH ACTING IS EVER CHANGING AND TRANSFORMING AS I GROW AND CHANGE"

I was in a punk band in high school and we.... got into a lot of rebellious activity…. Next question, please! Tell me more about your childhood and how you were brought up.

Honestly, everyone! I’ve had a lot to do with Katey of course who has been such an angel. She is such a natural leader and caretaker, it’s been extremely helpful to have someone so supportive around all the time. And she’s carrying the whole thing without ever complaining. It’s really something to watch.

My parents both moved here from Mexico. My dad is a classical composer and my mom is a jack of all trades. She wrote for a popular comedy radio show in Mexico and also makes jewelry and beautiful visual art. My sister Libe is also an actress and a great writer as well. Just basically grew up in a very artistic family that was always supportive of anything I wanted to do.

As an actress, what pushes you to work harder? When you are not too sure about a role, how do you prep for it?

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Something that has pushed me to work harder on Rebel specifically is looking at the caliber of work from the people around me in every field. Everyone is so experienced and brilliant it pushes you to rise to the occasion.

Ideally expanding on the work I’m doing currently. I’ve become more and more interested in behind the scenes work and cultivating a community of artists I can work with for the rest of my career which will hopefully span the rest of my life.
