Introducing Simone Susinna: A Rising Star Shining Bright
In the world of entertainment, where talent and charisma converge, Simone Susinna emerges as a rising star on the horizon. With his magnetic presence and undeniable acting prowess, Simone captivates audiences, leaving them spellbound with each performance. As his star continues to ascend, this Italianborn actor is poised to make a lasting impact.
The famous city of Venice is known for many things. Commonly referred to as the “City of Canals”, the city is known for its history, architecture, festivals, and now the picturesque scenery where a photoshoot with Simone Susinna has taken place. An Italian native himself, Venice could not have been a better place to shoot the actor and international model. Most recently recognized for his role in the film series “365 Days” trilogy as Nacho in both Netflix originals, “365 Days: This Day” and “Next 365 Days”, we were lucky enough to learn how Simone got started in his various industries and what keeps him grounded to this day.
Italy itself has always been an important location for Simone. At the young age of 20, Simone began his modeling career on the runway after receiving advice from two famous stylists who encouraged him to leave his birthplace of Sicily and venture to Milan. Known as one of the world’s fashion capitals, it would only be a matter of time before Simone became involved with notable brands like Giorgio Armani, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana, Guess, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and many more. While it’s no surprise the model found commercial success in modeling, he was launched into acting which was not something he thought would ever happen.
“Acting, on the other hand, was not in my plans. Once again, the opportunity came by chance. With the proposal to participate in a Netflix production; I accepted. It was a wonderful new beginning. Since then, I have dedicated myself to acting more and more intensely…Being good-looking undoubtedly helps, but I am aware that professionalism is built day by day, with study and dedication, with the ambition to improve and achieve the set goals”.
Simone is clearly someone who strives to excel in various projects that he participates in, and we are sure there is no stopping the newly emerged actor from continuing his artistic pursuits and worldly interests.
“I love traveling and I love this lifestyle, but I resist the temptations of exaggerated habits. Rather, I organize my time and resources with great discipline. I start my day, wherever I am, practicing yoga. More generally, I love taking care of my inner self with the same care with which I dedicate myself to my external appearance. Physically and mentally, I live a healthy life, where nutrition and sport are essential. But so are activities in contact with nature and time shared with the people I love. I grew up in a family that taught me the importance of good relationships and cultivating ambitions, while remaining humble; my family has always been my strong point… When I can choose, I prefer people with good vibes. I have achieved a balance of which I am proud and I try to maintain it. I have learned to surround myself with individuals who radiate positivity; I am convinced that by creating a circle of positivity around us, this in turn attracts more positivity. After all, we are energy, everything is energy. Like this place now."
Wise words we can all take away from the one and only Simone Susinna.
For now, make sure to check out both Netflix originals, 365 Days: This Day and Next 365 Days and "Heaven in Hell" now available on Amazon prime!

Tell us about the most memorable experience you had shooting “The Wrath of Becky.”
My most memorable experience filming The Wrath of Becky was getting drenched in blood for the first time. After a few days of head-totoe blood, it got a little old but that first day was SO FUN having three different people throwing blood at me from all angles and hearing the cheers after we cut.
This film is the highly anticipated sequel to “Becky.” How do you feel the character of Becky has evolved from the first film to now?
LULU WILSON: At this point, it’s been two years since the first film and Becky has been through some sh*t to say the least. She’s had to make do on her own while still reeling from her past trauma and she’s also been training to make sure something like that can never happen again. She’s found a home base and we see a more content, real side of her before all hell breaks loose once again.
As it’s such an emotionally and physically taxing role, what did you do to keep things light on set and unwind at the end of a long day? It WAS always light on set. We were literally having the time of our lives. In between takes, we set up picnic blankets and lounged around… ALL of us together… cast and crew. It was basically murder summer camp!
You have starred in a myriad of films and series across various genres from horror to drama to action and more. What is your favorite genre as an actress? What is your favorite genre as a viewer?
My favorite genre as a viewer is horror. Having experienced what it’s like to film a horror movie and knowing the thought and precision that goes into each set up to sell the true terror makes me appreciate the genre so much more. Most of my favorite movies are scary ones, they’re just so damn cool. As an actress, I really love to play true-to-life characters and getting to infuse my own personal experiences into those roles and giving the audience a human being to relate to on screen.
How has serving as an Executive Producer on this film made this experience different from your previous roles and other projects? I was able to really be a part of every step it took to get this project made as an executive producer.
LULUWilson
I was totally let in on the process and all the decision-making behind the film and how it would be getting made. It’s something I haven’t really gotten to experience before and something I’m looking forward to experiencing more of in the future!
What do you do in your free time when you’re not acting?
I am a competitive fencer which is one of my most favorite activities I take part in! I also love to roller-skate around my neighborhood and write poetry. As a little side gig, I babysit, as well! A job I tend to hate but gives me some pretty good stories.
How would you describe your personal style?
I get most of my clothes from thrift stores and I always love a good oversized look. I really love mixing feminine and masculine styles and making pieces that wouldn’t be typically worn by someone like me my own!
Do you have a favorite quote or motto you live by?
“The truth will set you free, but first, it will piss you off.” – Gloria Steinem
What are you currently working on and where can fans see you next?
“Fall of the House of Usher” is another super cool series with the amazing Mike Flanagan coming out this fall on Netflix. And I’m currently filming, “Xeno,” an incredibly unique sci-fi coming-of-age film in conjunction with Heartbeat Productions and the Jim Henson Group which will probably be released spring/summer 2024!
Thurnwald PETER
What draws you to acting? Was it always a career choice? If there is something about the industry that you could change, what would it be?
I never wanted to be an actor until I was in my final year of high school. Because it was my final year, I thought ‘screw it’, I’ll try out acting in a play for fun. I will never forget the feeling of being on stage for the first time and performing that play in front of a live audience. Ever since then, I’ve been striving for that same experience whenever I’m acting, whether that’s in a small, co-op play or a massive production like XO Kitty. The thing I love most about acting is the discovery of why people are the way they are. I think so many people in this world are misunderstood, and if you dig deep into anyone, there is always a human there that has been helped or hurt. I love investigating this aspect of people's lives and finding justifications for their actions. I’m also a very avid people watcher, so if I’m ever caught staring at you, I’m so sorry I promise I don’t bite. Tell us about your character Alex. How did you create the character and bring him to life? How was the audition process?
Alex is a very young Australian Korean adoptee who starts as a teacher at KISS around the same time Kitty travels to Seoul. Because of their lack of knowledge of Korean culture, Kitty and Alex form a sibling-like bond. We find out that he’s actually moved to that school to search for his real birth parents, which turn out to be Professor Lee and Principal Lim. He goes through a lot of heartache, with the Professor telling him he’s never wanted kids, and Lim hiding numerous secrets from him. At one point, he almost leaves KISS altogether, booking his plane flight home, but Kitty is the one to convince him to stay.
As an adopted Korean, bringing some aspects of my life into this character was very important to me. It was both a blessing and a curse because I knew exactly how Alex was feeling, but it also sometimes gets a little bit too real. Finding balance in these things is important because you don’t want to go down a rabbit hole you can’t get out of.
Fun story: I first went in for Min-Ho and did chemistry reads with Anna before auditioning for Alex. Of course, the role went to the very handsome and amazing Sang-Heon, however, it did give me a chance to talk to the showrunners Jenny and Sascha. It was there we discussed my upbringing about being an adopted Korean and I guess gave them the idea to let me audition for Alex. The rest is history!
Can you share an interesting experience / fun story while shooting XO, Kitty? Interesting on-set interaction? Dynamic with co-stars? We had SO many fun experiences as a cast. I absolutely love those people to death, and I hope that we can continue being close friends as we’re spread all over the world. I spent a lot of time with Sang-Heon bouldering. We’re both rock climbers, so it was nice that we shared the interest. He was basically my tour guide around the streets of Seoul and he would always show me the places where I could eat, climb or drink. We’d go out a lot as a group and explore Seoul, going shopping in Dongdaemun, or eating in Apgujong, or going to the night markets in Ilsan. There was so much to do all the time, and we really capitalized on the nightlife.
I think my favorite scene in XO was the night market scene with Kitty where we’re walking through a Seoul eat street. It really felt like we were on a massive budget film set, with a tonne of extras walking around, food being set up, and the vibe was off the charts. It was also, I felt when Anna and I really started to become good friends. It’s always those new experiences that are the ones you remember for a long time, and the scene as well was a tonne of fun to shoot.
Besides acting, what passions do you like to venture into when not on set?
I do a lot of writing, both scripts and music. I’ve been really into music recently, both covering and writing songs. I play a lot of sports; tennis, soccer, and swimming just to name a few. However, my biggest passion right now is golf. I love the feeling of going out and being in nature with a ‘somewhat simple’ task. It’s very meditative, which is something I’m finding I need more as my career progresses.
Give us two truths and a lie. Hopefully, our readers will figure out what the lie is.
I’ve run a marathon. I’ve rock climbed without any ropes (free soloed). I can do a double backflip.
As you know Bello magazine is a fashion and lifestyle magazine. Can you share with our readers your take on style and fashion sense?
I’ve only found my fashion sense in the last few years (or basically since I went to Korea…). I was never interested in it until I walked around Seoul and thought “damn, these guys are dressed WELL”. I threw out my whole wardrobe and bought a new one when I was there. I love very chic designs mixed with streetwear. I am absolutely obsessed with cargo pants right now. Honestly, I’m learning that it’s all just expression, and what works for someone else probably won’t work for you. It’s all very individual.
What’s the biggest challenge so far that you've faced as an actor, and how did you overcome it?
I think my time working on Players (the previous show I did) was my most difficult challenge. It was shot over 11 weeks in LA, and we shot all 10 episodes at the same time. There was a lot of improv, and a lot of gung-ho shooting (e.g. the director or producer would have an idea and we’d just film it with little or no preparation). At first, I was completely freaking out, because it was my first job in America, I felt out of my depth, and I was working with some fantastic established creators that were expecting a lot. But, I will happily say that Players is the show that I have most enjoyed so far in my very short career. Whenever you’re pushed to a limit, and then exceed that, it’s always good for you. I hope that I can work with Tony and Dan again (director and producer) just because they got a great show out of the actors.
What advice would you give to aspiring actors who are just starting out in the industry?
Your art is your food. Without the right food, you get hungry, you get tired, and you lose the will to do things day-to-day. If you truly want to find success in anything, please find the right ingredients. Are you doing self-tapes (NOT auditions) that are scenes YOU want to do? Are you writing? Are you meeting other actors? Are you being KIND to yourself? These aren’t suggestions; these are steps in a recipe to make the most nourishing acting poke-bowl. Yes, acting is a waiting game, and the way to win is by finding ways to sustain yourself until you can work with other creatives on projects that are meaningful to you and your community.
Do you remember the day you got the call that you booked your role? Describe it.
This is going to sound terrible, but I don’t have too much recollection of it… It’s this weird thing I’ve developed where booking roles is completely at the back of my mind that I don’t get that excited about
it. For me, doing that audition is a more tangible thing to get excited about. However, I do remember very vividly my entire trip leaving TO Seoul. Maybe it’s my anxiety telling my brain ‘Don’t believe you’re on this show UNTIL you get to Korea’. I don’t know… I’m very strange…
Three fun facts about you.
• I used to be an e-sports F1 racing driver and absolutely love everything about cars. It’s my dream one day to run a car show.
• I’m a pretty big gamer. I play with my friends pretty much every day to de-stress in the evenings.
• I wake up at 4 am every day because I love exercising in the dark and I’m weird.
What’s your next move?
This sounds like I’m some big entrepreneur or something! At the moment, a lot of my behind-the-scenes stuff has to do with producing films. I’m producing a higher budget short film which begins at the start of July, and I’m in the process of gaining funding for a few other ideas. I’ve been developing a TV series which I hope will start moving soon which is about two brothers, one Korean adopted, one white, who meet in their late 20s and must learn how to trust each other in order to find their missing sister. This is my main goal at the moment, and so if you see a show that pops up on Netflix or Amazon, it’s probably made by me!

SPANISH STYLE DECOR INSPRIRED INTERIOR
Hollywood Hills
The Hollywood Hills, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is a glamorous and exclusive neighborhood that has long been associated with luxury and extravagance. The neighborhood is renowned for its magnificent homes, many of which are perched on the hillsides and offer breathtaking views of the city below. From sprawling mansions to sleek modernist designs, the homes in the Hollywood Hills embody the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry that calls this area home. With its iconic sign overlooking the city, the Hollywood Hills has become a symbol of success and achievement, attracting the world's most affluent and influential individuals to its prestigious streets.
The Spanish style house architecture was introduced to the Hollywood Hills in the early 20th century as part of a larger movement in Southern California to promote a distinct regional style of architecture. This movement, known as the Spanish Colonial Revival, drew inspiration from the traditional architecture of Spain and other Mediterranean countries.
The introduction of the Spanish style house architecture to the Hollywood Hills was also influenced by the growing popularity of the film industry in Los Angeles at the time. Movie studios and wealthy actors and producers were drawn to the Hollywood Hills for its stunning views and natural beauty, and many of them chose to build homes in the Spanish Colonial Revival style to create a sense of glamour and sophistication.
It was considered particularly well-suited to the California climate, with its warm, dry weather and abundance of sunlight. The thick walls, red tile roofs, and shaded courtyards of Spanish-style homes provided a cool refuge from the heat, while the open-air design allowed for natural ventilation and indooroutdoor living.
You can create your very own by featuring warm, earthy colors such as terra cotta, deep reds, and yellows, along with ornate wrought-iron accents, patterned tiles, and intricate woodworking, ass some eclectic elements, such as bold patterns, bright colors, and a mix of textures and materials. The space might also incorporate unique finds from travels (or travel inspired) to make your home look like a curated interor of a modern day explorator. The overall effect would be warm and inviting, with a bohemian touch that adds a sense of playfulness and free-spiritedness to emphasizes individuality and creativity.
This is our take on the traditional Spanish-style interior Hollywood Hills vibes!
