LOCKING SPACER This essential component is the final peice in the puzzle, the one component that holds the whole mechanism together. Clipped into the valve slider when in place, the steel locking spacer stops the spring from pushing the valve slider out of the main pump housing and the whole system becoming undone.

RUBBER SEALS Essential to keep the whole system air tight, the seals not only allow the valve slider to move smoothly through the pumping mechanism, but allow areas in the pump to remained sealed off when not in use. There are a total of 4 ringed seals in AEOLUS, without them, the wholesystem would fail.

VALVE SLIDER The sole moving part in the AEOLUS pump. The CNC Valve slider with an extruded centre allows air to pass through it from the Co2 Canister to the bicycle tyre. Grooves along the body allow for the various sizes seals to fit firmly and prevent escaping air.

Grooves in the mechanical housing allow the overmoulded cap snap in place holding the two securely together without any form of adhesive.

Locked Profile The spring applies pressure outwards keeping Co2 from escaping. Silicone seals keep the mechanism airtight. (7)

Injection moulded ABS Valve bumper provides air-tight seal and cushioning when pressure is applied to bike valve. Provides further sealing and allows valve cap to fit tightly to slider.

CNC steel valve slider with extrusion allowed air to pass through from Co2 canister to main housing to bike tyre.

PACKAGING & POINT OF SALE

TWIST TO FASTEN The simple card packaging is held onto the product by the AEOLUS iitself. The canister housing is inserted into the circular opening in the packaging. The top cap is then placed ontop and twisted into place. The two facing packaging panels are then stapled together.

Keeping with the sustainability direction of the packaging, Soy based inks will be used for printing on the card. The soy inks dry slower than conventional petroleum based inks yet once dry have the same vibrancy in color and can cause no hard to the environment upon disposal. Their biodegradability means that along with the card, they can be disposed and forgotten.

Slide out decal panel allows store owners to change the product the stand holds easily. The card on the decal panel is the same as that of the AEOLUS packaging, ecofriendly and biodegradable.

Y T I L I B USA The simple push to inflate mechanism provides quick inflation on the go. To stop inflating, simply pull the pump off the tyre valve. Replacing the Co2 Canister 1. Twist to remove the canister housing. 2. Remove the Co2 canister and replace with a brand new one.

AEOLUS is small enough to fit in almost any saddle bag, so taking it with you on all rides is hassle free.
