Hello hawks! Did you have fun TOTFU? I certainly did! But raising money for the ELIMINATE project does not end there. In your resources and this newsletter are ideas to continue the project. It is our LAST year Key Club will be supporting the project. Please keep me updated on what’s up in the club! Express and concerns or even success. Who knows , your success can be featured here! To presidents, I’ve revived President’s Report. It will be due the first day of the month! That way, I’m able to keep in contact with all 7 clubs. Bookmark it! The T-Shirt Design Contest has been EXTENDED! Shirts shows club and divisional unity. It is very important for DCON! If you need anything, please contact me! I HIGHLY suggest you check out Division 50 Resources and the PNW Resources! That is all!
In love and service,

Description: Leave donation jar’s at a store’s cash register and let the money grow! Every week or two check up on the jar
What you need: • jars (make sure it’s sealed TIGHT) • ELIMINATE Info Label (Provided by me, just ask!) • Store’s Permission
Instructions: 1. Make the jars! Make it eye catching and don’t forget the informative label on what it is. (I have the label) 2. Pick possible places and assign to a Key Club member. He/She will be responsible checking the jar biweekly/weekly and pick it up. 3. Contact the owner or manager of the store. Introduce who you are, briefly inform them about the project and what is ELIMINATE and ask if they would be willing to participate. 4. If so, ask how long would like the jar be there, and inform them WHO will pick it up and check on it. It is best if you write it on paper so they don’t forget. 5. Once it’s done, send them a thank you card! If that store isn’t doing so well on donations, then take the jar and try somewhere else!

Holiday Grams During holidays such as, Valentine’s day, St Patrick's Day, Halloween, and winter holidays, students can pay to send a note, or note & candy to another student. Works best if sold during lunch and after school at an area with lots of students.
Popcorn (Any Tasty Food) Fundraiser Parents & teachers interested in healthier snacks will love the fact that your fundraiser popcorn pops in heart-healthy sunflower oil. www.efundraising.com/Popcorn-Fundraisers It doesn't have to popcorn, it can be seasoned pretzels, cupcakes, and so on that Key Clubbers can hand make!
Polar Bear Plunge

This fundraiser will only work when the weather is cold, so it's not for every location, but it's sure to be a chillingly good time. A polar bear plunge means, quite simply, that people don bathing suits in bitingly cold weather and dive into the ocean or an iced-over lake. Each participant should gather sponsors. For more information on this idea, go to www.fund-raising-ideas-center.com/ polar-bear-plunge-charity-event.html. 14

Attendance may not be the greatest but I had a great time with these two girls. In total we made over 12 dog toys for the Prosser Pet Shelter! Great job!

On August 11th, dozens of Key Clubbers from far Idaho to central Washington dove into their rad rides to Moses Lake High School early morning. For what? To attend Eastside Rally 2015: Surfing into Service! That day we had a fun time with ice breakers, forums, watching the governor squint as they devour the lemons. During Eastside Rally, there was a miracle minute for MNT In which we raised $182.97! Guess what! Division 50 won second place in the miracle minute for MNT!!! The winning division of the spirit stick was Division 9! Outside. Afterwards we watched the 16 winners of Splash n LTG raffle splashed the lieutenant governors with a bucket of water! But wait, the day isn’t over! To finish the day, there was a heated water balloon fight! What’s amazing is that this year is the most attendees Division 50 ever had! Awesome jobs hawks!
