Haramokngna place where the people gather
A project of Pukúu Cultural Community Services, a native non-profit organization, which strives to share Native American history, heritage, and culture of the five regional tribes of the Angeles National Forest. Located on Angeles Crest Hwy (2), the Cultural Center features a Visitors Center & Museum, Gathering Circle, Art Gallery, and Angeles National Forest hiking trails. The Cultural Center presents various programs, festivals, and exhibitions annually from spring to fall.

weekends from 10am – 4pm The Cultural Center features an extraordinary museum of musical instruments, basketry, rock art, as well as many other things. More than hundreds of people visit Haramokngna each year. They may be coming to either enjoy our exhibitions, attend a workshop, visit the Art Gallery, camp outdoors, hike the forest trails, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Here at Haramonkngna you will see and experience authentic California indigenous culture like nowhere else in Los Angeles. Haramokngna’s exhibitions and programs, it seeks to share California indigenous culture to people of all heritages and beliefs.
Workshops and Events annually from spring to fall
The Cultural Center’s workshops and events are conveniently located in two locations. The primary location which is off of Angeles crest highway and the second Rudy Sr. Heritage Park in San Fernando, CA. Come explore the wonders of California indigenous people and learn the arts and practices that are now revived at the center. We offer a wide range of programs such as traditional foods, cultural activities, plant usage, astronomy and more.
