Welcome to Pennsylvania The Pennsylvania Holstein Association would like to welcome you to the 2021 National Holstein Convention. It is our honor to host you and invite you to participate in our activities in southeastern PA. This region of our state is most similar to the Midwest with rich soil that is sustained by our Lancaster county farmers. Pennsylvania has a rich history of Holstein breeders. Many have put bulls into A.I. and many have have been nominated and awarded All American recognitions. Some of our breeders have been national directors, and some have gone on to serve as President. We have had numerous PBR and PGA award winners all hail from our beloved Keystone state. Over 5,000 dairy farms are still in production in Pennsylvania today, working to produce top quality milk and continue breeding these excellent cows. I hope you are coming to Lancaster full of energy and excitement to enjoy the many activities we have planned. Our convention committee has spent countless hours to make a full and fun filled schedule for you and your families to stay busy. Between farm tours, junior contests, amusement parks, and mixers, you will not have any extra time to sit and relax. While we may have come from numerous backgrounds, cultures, and religions, we are all here for one reason: the love for the Holstein cow. Make some new friends, try some of our delicious Pennsylvania Dutch cooking, and be prepared to learn some new knowledge to take back home with you.
