THOE Real Estate Development - Dubai, UAE Recruited to manage and lead the in-house technical department in charge of delivering the design of The Heart of Europe, an high-end hospitality destination on The World project, situated just off the coast line of Dubai. The Project is located in a group of 6 man-made Islands comprising a 13 different best in class luxury and boutique hotels (5000 Keys), retail (604 units), F&B (38 units), entertainment facilities (47 units), private villas (42 units) and world's first Floating Seahorse community (132 units). . Translates the Chairman's vision into a bespoke design identity by leading the creative process of the design team and supervising the work of appointed consultants of all technical specialties to ensure the deliverance of the expected quality of work throughout all design stages and construction until final handover. . Revises the initial masterplan according to the revised client briefing to incorporate updated real estate & hospitality markets tendencies, as well as inputs from all different areas of expertise and technical specialties involved in the project, including infrastructure and utilities, environmental sustainability, pedestrian comfort, marine engineering, marine biology and specific operation requirements such as kitchen & laundry, waste management, F&B, retail and entertainment. . Actively leads the design team in charge of the world's first Floating Seahorse, a luxury marine retreat featuring underwater rooms with large panoramic first-to-the-industry glazed surfaces, that enable its occupants to enjoy the sea life and views over private coral gardens.

Sondos Real Estate Company - Riyadh, KSA Recruited to lead a technical team in charge of designing The Landmark, a large scale (Gross floor area: 1.400.000 sq.m) ultra luxury mixed use development, comprising best in class retail, offices, serviced apartments, hypermarket, medical spa, medical college and 5 star hotel, located in Riyadh, KSA. . Delivered the masterplan revision and concept designs of all individual buildings included in the development, within the expected extremely tight time frame, firstly managing a team based in different European locations and later based in the company's HQ in Riyadh. . Actively supported the company's VP in multiple presentations to authorities, shareholders and investors, that led to an impressive signing of almost two hundred LOI and MOU within 9 months with lead regional retail groups such as Alshaya, Chalhoub, Azadea or luxury goods conglomerates like LVMH or the Swiss based Richemont Group. . Led the development of the schematic stage of the project working closely with the specialists in charge of the strategic advisory for retail and hospitality, implementing the proposed tenant mix and leasing strategy, as well as other technical specialists engaged in the development of the architectural and engineering designs.

THE FLOATING SEAHORSE DEVELOPER’S STATEMENT:

This is The Floating Seahorse, a feat of innovation achieved by a marriage of engineering and imagination. An epitome of timeless design and craftsmanship spread across three levels, one of which is underwater. The Floating Seahorse is truly unique and offers a world of new experiences. From the ocean that spreads out before you on the upper levels, to the underwater level that presents the coral reef brimming with beauty and life. A magnificent and enduring icon, The Floating Seahorse has set a new precedence in luxury living. Some experiences are so magical that it’s difficult to describe them. Fall asleep while gazing at your coral garden, as the sea turtle glides by and a seahorse dances in the moonlight. Awaken to the beautiful splash of colours from the coral reef, as the sun pierces the waters. See the hammour race by and catch a sting ray gracefully floats around your home. These are the amazing sights that await you at the coral reef that surrounds each and every Floating Seahorse.

THE HEART OF EUROPE DEVELOPER’S STATEMENT:

The Heart of Europe in Dubai is the world’s only island destination that brings together the very best of European designs, heritage and hospitality in a truly breathtaking and unique setting. More than just a destination, The Heart of Europe will offer a lifestyle like no other and be a beautiful tranquil haven that captures the very essence of European living to create a memorable vacation experience that goes beyond the imagination. The Heart of Europe is a cluster of six islands on The World in Dubai. A global landmark, made up of 300 islands reclaimed from the sea in the shape of the world map, this engineering wonder is an iconic collection of private and resort islands, located 4km off the coast of Dubai. The Heart of Europe is based on destinations across Europe, spread over the islands of Germany, Monaco, Sweden, Switzerland, St Petersburg and Main Europe, each of which boast a unique design. SWEDEN PALACE DEVELOPER’S STATEMENT:

Sweden Island’s shoreline will boast 10 prestigious beachfront villas inspired by the beautifully crafted and intricate structure of inverted Swedish Viking vessels.
