OBJECTIVES Starting from line studies, plane studies, and then space studies, this was a study of how line and plane interacts each other. Then it goes on to the cube where two elements combine and start to play with one another. Foundation Studio/ Year 1 Fall 2016

OBJECTIVES Explore a material's properties and transformational possibilities with a choice of a single material. The most challenging part of this project was joining my 100 mate-rial units with some non-traditional form of joining.

OBJECTIVE Designing an insertion or spatial addition into the existing fabric of a building. The Alms building, which is the original building in the DAAP complex will be used as the site for the insertion. Designing new entry space and a sequence through the building to a destination crit space/ gallery space for small groups to gather, review work and exhibit work. Focus on generating design ideas and concepts to define a conceptual framework for the project thorough responses to 3 specific ‘obstructions‘or design motivators. Use the existing Alm's building to design an insertion or spatial addition. Studying both threshold and sequences through out this project by focusing on generating design ideas and concepts to define a conceptual framework in order to respond to 3 specific obstructions or design influences.

OBJECTIVE Exploring material's properties and transformational possibilites with individual's choice of materials. Using 5 words from our own choice of poem and create sequences in the structure was what this project was mainly about. It was challenging to put them in an order with an appropriate flow.

OBJECTIVES The Poetry Foundation of Cincinnati is a community based facility, open to the public and in particular to the city core population. This project requires conceptual thinking, formulating solutions and iterative studies, communicative mediums, and in designing a building within a particular urban context of Cincinnati OTR district. The most important part will be to understand the context of individual's design as it is placed with not only the site located in OTR, but also in our culture on the twenty-first century of media heavy imagery - regionally, and globally. Also, critical will be the experiential qualities that one need to bring into the interior. The sequential experience and the emotional content of spaces & volumes, as well as the movement through spaces.

OBJECTIVES We were each given a famous piece of residential architecture to study and analyze. My case study was focused on Maison A bordeaux by OMA. The main purpose of this project was to improve our Autocad and Rhino skills as well as go in depth about learning about a prominent architect. It was a great opportunity to learn more about this house. Researching the architecture allowed me to learn interesting things about the architect and understand how the architect came up with this famous piece of architecture.

OBJECTIVES The goal of this project is to create an Islamic screen inspired by an existing pattern. After developing it to one's screen, I then created a structure using rhino in order to project my screen on top. We were able to choose our own site and how the structure function.

OBJECTIVES Combining my interests in furniture design and architecture, I decided to design something that breaks the frame and creates a house or building composed completely of chairs. I finally came up with a complex building containing restaurants, a cafe, and a clothing store. This project is very focused on the elevations and exterior of the structure. I approached this project with a new way of thinking that was completely focused on the integration of a repeating element that is used in our day to day lives.

MANUAL Guggenheime Model - Styrofoam + Acrylic paint Bridge Model - Styrofoam + Threads
OBJECTIVE Guggenheim - This is an exercise of reconstructing a building that already exists and exploring different design processes. I took major elements from The Guggenheim Museum and reconstructed a new structure that utilizes the same elements as the precedent. I tried to manipulate these elements in order to investigate different design possibilities. Bridge - Inspired by the amount of bridges in my country, I decide to create a bridge in my own way by using different colors of thread to study how it looks to incorporate the gradient created by. It was both material, color study and designing new shape of bridge.
