Protect Your Pet From Hazards in the Home

Many common substances around your house and yard may be toxic to your pets. All cases of suspected poisonings should be seen by your family veterinarian or an emergency clinic as soon as possible. Whenever possible, bring the toxin’s packaging with you to the hospital. It may list the active ingredients or the concentration of the toxin. This information can help the veterinarian calculate the dose to which your pet may have been exposed.
