PENNSYLVANIA DISTRICT GOVERNOR, ASHLEY WHEELAND

Hello all Key Club Vice Presidents, congratulations on being elected to your club as President. With this office comes great responsibility that you will hold for the next administrative year. In this training manual, you will find all responsibilities of yours, important dates for the upcoming year, and all distinguished requirements. All of this information will be available for you all year. Over the course of the next year you will be contacted by your Lieutenant Governor, corresponding to your division. You are always welcome to reach out to them, or myself as well, with any questions about your position. I hope to meet you all at The 2021 Pennsylvania District Convention in Hershey, Pennsylvania to celebrate everything you and your club will accomplish!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 2020-2021

ASSIST THE CLUB PRESIDENT IN LEADING THE CLUB ATTEND ALL CLUB MEETINGS ATTEND ALL OFFICER MEETINGS ENSURE FREQUENT COMMUNICATION WITH CLUB ADVISER ENSURE FREQUENT COMMUNICATION WITH LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR STEP IN DURING THE ABSENCE OF THE CLUB PRESIDENT RECRUIT NEW MEMBERS

Important Dates JULY 1-5: INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION DATE TBD: FALL RALLY IN HERSHEY PARK OCTOBER 1-31: TRICK OR TREAT FOR UNICEF NOVEMBER 1: EARLY BIRD DUES DEADLINE NOVEMBER 1-30: KIWANIS FAMILY MONTH DECEMBER 1: FINAL DEADLINE FOR DUES MARCH 19-21: DISTRICT CONVENTION IN HERSHEY, PA

Distinguished Requirements 4/5 must be met by your adviser: Attend all club meetings, with a once a month minimum Attend all officer meetings, with a once a month minimum Communicated with adviser and fellow officers Attend at least two Kiwanis meetings Complete at least 5 service hours a month

3/6 must be met by your Lieutenant Governor: Attend at least one Divisional Council Meeting Attend Divisional Officer Training Attend District Convention Attend Fall Rally Ensure Officer Information Report was submitted
