District Board,

I hope you all are doing well! I am excited to finish training you all and to really get this year moving! I know things are still tough and confusing, but you've got this! The dedication you all show to this club, your homes, schools, and communities, is truly admirable.

Be sure to look through this newsletter thoroughly! There's a ton of information in here.

Remember I am always here for you to answer any questions, advise you, or just talk! Also make sure you're communicating with your Zone Administrator.

Governor's Greeting Every year, the District Governor writes a "Governor's Greeting" to introduce themself, their goals, and contact information to the District.

I have recently completed mine. Please send this to your club advisors and any of your club officer contacts you may or may not have. You can send this through email, get it on social media, and send it in any other way!

May MRF Each month, Lieutenant Governors are responsible for filling out a report.

his gives me a good idea of how things are going for you and your Division, and also allows some guidance in our monthly calls, which will happen around the middle of the month.

Please fill it out with as much information as possible. Take time to fill this out!

Lt.G of May The May Lieutenant Governor of the month is...

Division 6 Lt.G | Gabby Rainey She's done an incredible job communicating with her clubs and has been in meetings with some, as well as maintaining constant communication with her clubs. Keep it up, Gabby!

GATC This past month, Bob and I participated in the Governor's and Administrators Training Conference also known as GATC. <<< that's me!

Unfortunately, this conference was virtual; however, it allowed me to get a ton of new ideas and prepared me for my coming year as Governor!

I joined sessions on my role as Governor, inclusivity, leadership traits and qualities, and so much more. In addition, I got to bond with some of my fellow Governors!

Reach out to your club advisors and any known officers!

You can ask them to include you in an upcoming meeting or ask any questions you'd like to know the information to.

This provides them to understand the position has been passed from the previous Lt.G to you!

Get your communications

Promote, promote, promote the Officer Information Report.

This is one of the most important bits of information to gather.

This is how you will figure out who you need to be talking to.

Try to get any clubs who have had elections to fill this out.

Committees

Committees should be meeting at least once a month. Committee members are expected to join every meeting. In addition, the committee chair and secretary have some extra responsibilities.

Chair create agenda- main speaking points for the meeting (based off action items) if you need an example, let me know! request zoom if you are using zoom (preferred method), please request this at least 2 days in advance from Mr. Hartman. THIRST PROJECT The Thirst Project is a partner of Key Club International whose goal is to end the Global Water Crisis.

This organization goes into communities that don't have access to safe drinking water and builds wells that give those people access to it.

If you are reading this, email me back your favorite movie. They've been on their mission since 2008!

Below are some facts: the average distance in these communities to freshwater is 3.75 miles then 3.75 back carrying a 44 pound water jug students have raised enough money to give 400,000 people fresh drinking water
