In Palazzo Ducale in the heart of the city, a new Centre aimed at promoting new cultural productions, sperimentation, innovation and the development of new trends and young creativity was born. A cross-cultural space, open to all artistic languages to develop young creativity and talent, a gathering to interchange information and create networks, a place where art and city meet each other to promote social cohesion and young culture. Sala Dogana is open to cultural associations, artists, groups who need a place to realize their projects, show their creations, promote workshops, meetings, cross-cultural initiatives. From November 2010 to May 2011 Sala Dogana hosted 12 events, involving over 140 artists, recorded 5000 admissions. A committee of experts periodically evaluate the proposals according to criteria of artistic value, originality and general interest. The selected proposals are included in the programme of the Sala Dogana.
