PSVa’s  mission  is to  raise awareness of, and encourage screening for,  Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) within the healthcare community,  as well as  to  provide  social support and other recovery resources to moms and families. PSVa provides: Free  support to those experiencing a PMAD (warm line, support groups, peer mentors); A referral list of mental health providers trained to treat PMADs; Education to maternal and child healthcare providers, mental health professionals, home visitors, and others about PMADs and the path to recovery.

Regional Maternity Housing and Educational Center houses up to 20 women and their children. During that time, they will receive professional counseling on Healthy Family support, Day Care for their children, Early Head Start, along with parenting classes. They offer women time to gain their degree or vocational training for college courses, PCA, CNA, culinary arts and cosmetology.

Outpatient mental health services are provided to individuals who are experiencing mental illness symptoms and those with a co-occurring disorder. These strength-focused, recovery-oriented services evaluate and treat mental illness symptoms that impair the ability to function. The goal of these services is to empower individuals in their recovery through short-term, evidence-based approaches. Services are delivered in one of our two community clinics. Insurance is accepted, and individuals without insurance pay through a sliding fee scale.

RRCS Young Adult Coordinated Care (YACC) 540-825-3100, extension 3153 | www.rrcsb.org YACC is an evidenced-based program centered around the Coordinated Specialty Care Model of service for adolescents and young adults (age 15-25) who are experiencing psychosis for the first time. Individuals in the program will receive support from a team of professionals. The support will focus on reduction of symptoms and community integration.
