M2 Residential
Daniel M2SB M 2's Residen t ial t o Tem bu r on g Some Residentials can be like every other day to many people. But for M2, it was a new experience. It was one of the best experiences of M2 and probably the best memory of this class. The M2'shad a blast. They had numerous activities in Temburong such the daily hike up the hill to experience the sunrise. There was not any haze or smoke so it meant that they got to experience the hike at its fullest. We visited 2 local communities whilst we were there. One of them was a sago farm. Over there, we learned how sago was made and what food and drinks you can make with it. We got a chance to learn how to weave with a 100-year-old women named "Nenek". Nenek in Malay means Grandmother. Weaving wasn't easy at first but once you got the hang of it, it was a piece of cake. -Dan iel M 2SB
Ram adan , Th e M on t h Of En du r an ce This year, Ramadan commenced on 7th of May 2018 on a Tuesday, when the full moon was sighted. Ramadan is a month where Muslims can be more conscious of what they eat and drink, sympathising with those that do not have resources that more fortunate people, like us at Panaga, can access. As well, it is a month where Muslims can concentrate on religious activity, such as praying, reading the holy book of Islam (the Quran) and will be able to strengthen their relationship with their creator. Ramadan originated when the Prophet received the first verse of the holy Quran, as well as receiving the last verse in this holy month. It was also the month where the prophet passed away after being victorious in the war. Ramadan is the fourth pillar of Islam so that all Muslims all over the world will continue to fast and practise the acts of our honoured prophet. Please be mindful to those who are fasting and have a lovely Ramadan!
