DearParents,
The last two weeks have been incredibly busy but full of so much learningandfabulousexperiencesforthechildrentoenjoy.
Can I firstly thank all parents for supporting International Day last week, especially our wonderful communities for all of the time, effort and thought that went into the stalls and performances. The children had a 'blast' and really enjoyed finding out about the different countries and cultures. If any parents have feedback from the day, including how we can do things even better next year, please do let me know via: brianplatts@panagaschool.net.
So many trips, events and exit points have taken place recently, including the P6 and P7 Miri Residential and the P5 'Survival Residential'. The children were magnificent and were able to demonstrate and develop their personal qualities through a range of challenging and rewarding activities. I know they are all pretty tired and willhaveplentyofexcitingstoriestotellabouttheiradventures! This morning we were very fortunate to see P2 and P3 perform and sing for us, retelling the Bruneian legendary tale of Jong Batu. It was a wonderful performance and such a privilege to see the children collaboratingsoverywellandhavingsuchfunintheprocess.
These trips and events wouldn't be possible without the support of you, our parents and especially our staff who always go the extra mile in supportofyourchildren.
An important date for your calendar is Wednesday 12th June, when there will be a Parent Meeting regarding the transition and providing more information about the 2024/5 academic year. The meeting will takeplaceinTerajaHallandwillstartat8:00am.
Have a lovely and safe half term break and we look forward to seeing everyonebackinschoolonMonday3rdJune.
Best Wishes, Brian, SLT and all of our staff

P6 and P7 Miri Residential
We visited the Piasau Nature Reserve to learn more about our feathery neighbours.
We had an incredible adventure in Niah Caves.
There was music, dancing and even more food in a nearby longhouse.
Our wonderful trip ended with a tour and some souvenir shopping.
The children enjoyed touring around Miri but were always excited to spend any time in the hotel.
We travelled by bus, boat and busy elevators.
Netball Funday!
Netball Funday!
Amassive well done and congratulations to our P4, 5, 6 and 7 girls who enthusiastically took part in the Netball Funday on Sunday 12th May at JIS. Many energetic drills involving throwing, catching, shooting and foot work were then applied in mini team games. We were so proud of the girls who displayed their personal qualities throughout.
