Mendaram Celebrates Hari Raya We celebrated Hari Raya in Mendaram with making cards and decorations. The area was brightly decorated with lights and ketupats. We learnt from our LSAs how the festival is celebrated in Brunei and listened to traditional music. We had lots of fun celebrating Hari Raya!

We have been having fun exploring “The Tortoise and the Hare” in P1 recently. We split up into teams for a mini Gameathon. It was a bit tricky, but with resilience and cooperation, we did it!

P1

Once Upon A Time Then, a naughty elf got into class during break and jumbled up “The Tortoise and the Hare”! We had to put the pictures back in the right order. With our knowledge of the story, our cutting and sticking skills and using ordinal numbers, we put it all back together!

The Beebot Race! Our next challenge was to prepare for a Beebot Race! First, we had to learn how to program the Beebots. Then, we had to choose our team colours, team chant, design a flag and a race costume! On the day of the race, we had to use our estimating skills to guess just how many steps the Beebots needed to take to get to the finish line. Finally, we had to show game spirit when a team won by shaking hands and smiling. It was not easy, but we did it! Scan the code for the fun video.
