The name of the project, PANDICCIÓN, embodies the profound love Mexicans have for bread, which has remained a dietary staple for countless generations.

The logo design ingeniously merges the iconic shape of a Mexican bread loaf, known as the Concha, with a delightful cup of coffee, its perfect companion. The lines employed in the logo elegantly traverse from minimalist to deco, mirroring the sophisticated interior of the restaurant. The choice to preserve the black and yellow color scheme further reinforces this concept.

HEADBOARD PROJECTION

FLOOR PLAN SCALE 1:50

This project is part of a renovation where the decision was made to relocate the gas tower and bed to allow natural light to illuminate the space. This is particularly significant in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as patients in this setting experience brief moments of consciousness, and the environment plays a crucial role in their recovery. In line with this approach, warm and pleasant colors are used, along with organic shapes reminiscent of nature. Additionally, patients are provided with a screen that displays images and sounds of nature.

The lighting design is a crucial aspect, considering the importance of optimal visibility for medical professionals. Therefore, a central light source is positioned above the bed, while indirect lighting is incorporated at the headboard, along with medicinal gas outlets. This setup aims to create a conducive environment for both patients and their companions, allowing for rest while ensuring adequate visibility for medical staff.

for patients, but integrating the regulatory conditions required in hospitals.

The design of hospitals, especially in Adult Intensive Care Units, poses a significant challenge in interior design. It involves not only creating efficient, aesthetic, and calming spaces for patients but also integrating the technical and regulatory conditions required in such a highly antibacterial environment. This includes careful material selection, sealing led lights to prevent dust accumulation, implementing sanitary curves, and using impact protectors, among other regulatory requirements.

Views created in Model 3D Max + Vray

I have collaborated with OML in creating diverse areas in the hospital such as the tocogynecological surgical area and the labor and delivery room, among others. However, due to privacy considerations, I cannot share the blueprints of these spaces.

Designed to meet both the stringent hospital standards and the existing aesthetic of the facility, as this is an expansion. The design includes the use of conductive hospital vinyl flooring, which ensures safety and durability. The walls are covered with specialized hospital wall coverings and finished with antibacterial paint, promoting a sterile environment. Sanitary curves have been integrated, and all wall-to-ceiling and wall-to-floor transitions feature seamless bends to prevent dust accumulation and make cleaning more efficient.

functional was a priority throughout the design process. We also proposed lighting solutions that align with the overall design goals, ensuring a well-lit, comfortable, and effective operating environment.

I was responsible for modeling medical accessories, such as the negatoscope, medical gas outlets, and other essential fixtures. These models were developed in accordance with the technical guidelines provided by our biomedical equipment supplier, ensuring that every element was designed with precision and met the required standards for hospital use.

TAMAZULA

Casa Tamazula came from the clients when the construction was nearly complete. They asked for a kitchen design that included the granite bar and made use of the existing structure. They also sought guidance in choosing paints and finishes for all areas of the home, as well as selecting furniture for the living and dining room, all tailored to their tastes and budgets. This entire process was carried out remotely, collaborating with the engineer in charge of the project.

This project was undertaken in collaboration with Vanessa, my cousin and also an architect, as part of our freelance work.

This project is a house located in Guadalajara, Jalisco for a young married couple with plans to grow a family. For the couple it was important to keep the staircase as an important visual point from the street, that is the reason why it was an important element in the design of this house.

The slim staircase supported by vertical elements arises from creating a very light element. Somehow the vertical elements that fall towars the interior garden give a feeling that it falls like a rain.

THE MAIN PROBLEMS

1 Limited space to access the bathroom

2 Window facing neighbors, compromising privacy

3 Small shower.

4 Outdated ceiling and house style

5 Too many shadows with the ilumination

6 Excessive wasted space. 1 2 3 4 &5

I was tasked with remodeling outdated bathrooms in a house where the existing design no longer met the clients’ needs. The primary challenge was modernizing the space while maintaining continuity with the rest of the house, which features extensive marble finishes. I developed all necessary architectural plans, liaised with clients to ensure their vision was realized, and coordinated with suppliers to source high-quality materials.

Additionally, conducted on-site supervision to oversee the construction process, ensuring that every detail—from plumbing to finishes— was executed to the highest standard.

By blending modern design elements with the home’s existing aesthetic, we successfully transformed the bathrooms into functional and elegant spaces that complement the overall interior design.
