You work with jimmy chiba on your music videos, how did that come about? Chiba's my go to guy for vids.. We met through will the wordsmith.. A very talented and highly underrated rapper I've had the pleasure of working with.. We shot a vid for a track I did produced by jalef called 'blue eyes' an since then we've put out a few vids.. Chibas a don and he's really easy to work with.. Artists should holla @ him! @jimmychiba What do you think of the music game in the uk? The underground is popping! There is a lot of crazy mc's out here.. There's so many people making music right now Its mad there's a lot to listen too.. What's good dekay... Its been a long time since our photo shoot year.. What have you been up to? Yeah whats good. Since last year I've put out an album DARKNESS VISIBLE with my band, and am bringing out a new one The Vodka EP, on June 1st. Have been doing a lot of battles, both written and freestyle, and generally trying to get on with things. Thats a good look, just keep doing your thing your last album was banging how was your last rap battle? The last battle I had was in Newcastle against Innuendo. I've been battling for Dont Flop a lot this year, against Mickey Worthless, Enigma, Two Can, Arkaic, Mos Prob and Villun. My first international battle was vs an american rapper called Uno Lavoz. I enjoy the written and freestyle aspects of battling, although sometimes I prefer to freestyle. Well we all know that your freestyles will fuck a rapper up.. what is your favorite thing to see in the audience while you are on stage? My favourite thing to see in a crowd is the audience reacting to a sick bar, or laughing at a punchline. It's good to see people enjoying your performance and shit. Real talk, the vibe at a good rap battle is crazy so what's your plans for this year? Plans for this year are really just putting the new album out, getting a couple of videos done, and trying to make some money because things are really peak right now. I'm hoping that hard work will pay off in the end though. It will and at the end of the day its always good to do something you love to do.Whear can your fans get your music? some new faces. Everybody was nice and bubbly no tension or stooshness lol, it was a blessing.
Well first and foremost my Godfather -Paul Murphy (Actor from Bugsy Malone), got me into comedy because he was the funniest person in the family. He also worked in Hackney Empire as Stage Manager back in the 90s for a show called The 291 show and I used to be backstage with him sometimes ( I was only about 8-9 years old at the time) and I met some great comedians that are still around today like Junior Simpson, Rudi Lickwood, Felicity Ethnic, Slim & many more.
well since the shoot with you guys last year, I am still titled as the Baby-girl of comedy after 5 years in the game. I'm in university doing BA Hons Theatre, so fingers cross I get my degree and hopefully aim higher for a Masters Degree in Acting too ( im already auditioning for it at the moment)
The Last gig I did was the LMAO Showcase, in Clapham bar 635.It was wonderfully presented by Justin aka JCX, I was second to last to perform and the other comics before me were great so i was thinking how to be better than them and stand out. When I was on stage, I did a joke about me putting on weight and then I showed the audience my bum-crack for evidence, because my pants could not fit me, what a night to remember... Ha!!

And I met some lovely people there in the studio some I already knew and
the last 5 years is that I still got alot to learn and I've understood that comedy is not a sprint, it's a marathon.
As the Baby girl of Comedy, nearly everybody is my inspiration and mentor lol so I can't say names it would be like a guestlist for a club.
Erm, like I said I'm gonna go for the Funny Womens competition and other big major places. And I might go back to Edinburgh FRINGE Festival again this year but thats a long way from now.
The funniest thing I've seen so far this year was a boy trying to get a young women's phone number, the look on her face was priceless lol he try lie and say he was 17 but he was 14 because because he had his school tagged on his bag saying year 10 GCSE and his bumfluff was not what I class a moustache . . . I couldn't stop laughing KIDS, TAKE YOUR TIME, and FLIRT ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!!
Oh dont get me started on the madness I have to go through on stage sometimes, what I hate the most is when your in a gig and a group of (mostly women) give you evils throughout your whole set for no reason, I may have a better dress/shoes/smile or something then them. But they just sit there vex and I just ask myself do they want a hug or some tickles ?
The best dinner guest I would bring to my party would be Jo Brand, because she has taught me that "You dont have to look beautiful to make people laugh, it's the beauty of what you say that puts a smile on their faces"

so whats have you been doing since the hiphop and bubblegum photo shoot? Ive been working on numerous tracks and videos, some still coming off my last mixtape released last year which was called MORE THAN RYMEZ featuring UK Artists such as Joe Black, Hunt, Kaz and other artist which did really well and has been nominated again for the 2nd time at this years OMA awards, so Ive been busy planning the next moves. Also living life of course. I want to thank you guys for that Photoshoot it was definitely a productive day.

But of course I would want to work with people like Adele and other huge stars like Drake and Jadakiss etc but we will cross that bridge when we get there lol. Also I do it for the love, I think if people strive to chase money or to be famous then its just going to stress them out more when they havent reached that level of fame and wealth. Lol I see you have been working on a track for a charity, sounds good can you tell me more about it? Ye its a project i worked on with a bunch of people from all over the world to help raise funds for the MLK Foundation. Their primary goal is to use education as a key tool in the prevention and resolution of conflicts. They provide medical care and food to children in Bamako Nursery, assist in the education of children through school equipment and exchanges with French classes and
aid the construction of wells, schools and orphanages in some villages in Mali. The albums called 'All United For Our Children' and you can go cop that off iTunes.
