Simple Gesture (ASG) is a food-collection agency. Donors fill green reusable grocery bags that are collected by volunteers and distributed to our local food pantry partners. Before the Camp Fire, a Simple Gesture collected over 125,000 pounds of food for local pantries to donate to our hungry neighbors.
Every two months on a specified date, donors leave the bag outside their front door. Volunteer drivers pick up the Green Bag food collection program is back on the Ridge.
