This class provides instruction in basic water skills that increases confidence, coordination and safety in the water. A responsible adult is required to participate with their child in either Waterbabies or Watertots. Students will be in the water for approximately 30 minutes.

Learning how to swim is fun and can help improve your child’s strength and coordination, as well as their overall self-esteem. Each participant will be assessed on the first day of class and placed in the skillappropriate group to ensure comfort and success. Skill range will vary from first time swimmers to those swimming independently. Students will be in the water for approximately 30 minutes.

Swim Level III Stroke Readiness (6-12 Yrs)
The objective of Level III is to produce continued improvement on one’s front crawl and his or her ability to tread water. The class will also introduce elementary backstroke, scissor kick, breaststroke kick, dolphin kick, and headfirst entries. Prerequisites include proof of a Level II certificate or the ability to demonstrate all skills required to pass Level II. It is common for participants to repeat this level multiple times before advancing to the next level.

The objective of Level IV is for students to develop confidence, improve their skills, and increase their endurance in front crawl, back crawl and elementary backstroke. Students will learn the breaststroke, butterfly and sidestroke, as well as basic turns at the wall and safety assists. This class will also allow participants to build upon their diving skills. Prerequisites include proof of a Level III certificate or the ability to demonstrate all skills required to pass Level III. It is common for participants to repeat this level multiple times before advancing to the next level.

Youth Aquatic Conditioning (8-15 Yrs)
Come experience a real swimming workout! For individuals ages 8-15 years old having ownership of a Level IV certificate or ability to demonstrate the skills required to pass Level IV. Feedback will be given to improve efficiencies of swimming strokes. Participants must be able to work independently and be comfortable in deep water. A swim test will be given on the first day.

Adult Beginner Swimming-Intro to Shallow Water

Experience the benefits of weight and resistance training aquatics style! Participants should be comfortable in deep water and able to swim 25 yards freestyle.

Deep Water Aerobics
A deep-water exercise class for adults of all ages who want to stretch, tone, and strengthen the body through exercise in the water. The class will concentrate on endurance, aerobics, and flexibility using water resistance. (Deep water classes require a buoy belt be worn and that the participant be comfortable in multi-depth water).
