Farewell
Hello Division 33! I guess this will be my goodbye message to you all. I just want to say thank you. Whether it was support, key club spirit, or just being a good friend, all of you have helped me so much throughout my term. I am truly honored to have been your lieutenant governor. I will always remember when you guys cheered me on at closing session as I awkwardly stared at the camera and when you guys gave it your all to be the ones with the most divisional spirit. Also, remember that every single one of you has made a positive impact on my life. I know every one of your names and I've created many friendships that I hope will not be broken. Although I may not be the lieutenant governor now, I will always be a part of the kraken family. I love you all.

About
“The Pacific Northwest District is geographically the largest district in Key Club International. The district spans from Alaska to northern California: with British Columbia, Yukon Territory, Washington, Oregon, and even the “pan-handle” of Idaho in between. With over 40 divisions, this district contains about 330 Key Clubs.” “From the silent beauty of the north to the stormy skies of the west, thePacific Northwest District is a force to be reckoned with, and is one that is well-known internationally. Currently the membership is more than 11,300 members. With that in mind, the Pacific Northwest values diversity and inclusiveness the most.” “The mascot of the Pacific Northwest District is the “Mighty Moose”. Known for our spirit yet incredible dedication to the service that we do, the PNW District continues to be a leader in the Key Club world, and it is all thanks our members and excellent leadership throughout the district. It would not be far from the truth to say that yes, we're one of the best, with over 11,300 members proudly shouting out in accord when they hear: "Hey PNW! How do you feel?"“ Division 33 serves the Auburn and Federal Way community under 7 schools. They are Auburn High School, Auburn Mountainview High School, Auburn Riverside High School, Decatur High School, Federal Way High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and Todd Beamer High School. Our division is known for our amazing spirit and our huge Korean population. The mascot for our division is a kraken and our colors are blue and gold. There is never a dull moment when everyone in the division gets together, which is what makes our division so unique. Everyone is dedicated and is always willing to serve the community no matter what. 10
Structure Club Key Clubs are established in a high school or equivalent institution, or a community-based club may be chartered. Elected officers can include president, on or more vice presidents, secretary, treasurer, editor and one director from each class. Division Each district is divided into territories called divisions, made up of various clubs. Each division has a lieutenant governor, a student leader who carries out the district’s policies and provides support to the clubs District A district is sometimes defined by state or nation and tends to match a similar Kiwanis district. Each district is chaired by a governor, elected by delegates at the annual district convention International Key Club International encompasses all clubs within the group’s 33 organized districts and in foreign countries that are not included in any specific district. Key Club International is led by its international board, which is comprised of a president, vice president and 11 trustees, all students and active Key Club members.

Goals
I have some set goals I want to achieve as Lieutenant Governor. I decided to classify them into categories. 1. Unity: I want to create a better bond within our division. I want all the schools to be close together and create better bonds. In the end, we’ll all end up feeling like a family. 2. Growth: I want each club to increase their membership by 10%. The more members, the better. This also helps with unity. 3. Fun: I want to create a fun environment for everyone in the division. Like mentioned before, I want everyone to feel as though they are in a family. Everyone can have a great time with each other. 4. Service: I want to create more service projects and volunteering opportunities within the division so that we can reach out to the community at a bigger scale. 5. DCON: It’d be amazing to have more members attending the District Convention next year. It’ll be an amazing experience for new attendees and will continue to be fun for members who have attended before. I also want to see our division get more awards and the spirit stick. 13

The Eliminate Project
With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. The effects of the disease are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch. To eliminate MNT from the Earth, more than 100 million mothers and their future babies must be immunized. This requires vaccines, syringes, safe storage, transportation, thousands of skilled staff and more. It will take US$110 million — and the dedicated work of UNICEF and every member of the Kiwanis family. Kiwanis and UNICEF joined forces to tackle iodine deficiency disorders, achieving one of the most significant public health successes of the 20th century. Now, they are eliminating MNT from the face of the Earth. And in doing so, the project will reach the poorest, most neglected mothers and babies with additional lifesaving health care. The end of this one disease means the beginning of better health for so many families. 16

Best Moment
The best moment of 2013-2014 goes to the Seattle Seahawks winning Super Bowl 48. This is the Seahawks first ever Super Bowl victory and it was a complete blowout! Being the first Super Bowl victory, it was a huge event for the city of Seattle. People from all around the Pacific Northwest came together to celebrate in one of the hugest parades to remember! Not only was it a huge achievement for the city of Seattle, but for all of the Pacific Northwest. It brought everyone together from areas from Tacoma all the way to even areas near Pullman. GO HAWKS!
