Thirst Project Canning Raising 12,000 is not a small task and requires the planning of many service activities. In order to consistently raise money Stephanie Shen created a Thirst Project club that plans the events required and directs us in taking the next steps to raise money. One of the activities we did this month was the "Thirsty Thirty" where every member tries to raise thirty dollars in a month through an online collection page. We also braved the cold and went canning over the weekend to raise more money! Prior to the canning we created eyecatching posters.

In order to spread more awareness about Thirst Project, there were a number of Thirst Project related activities incorporated into our winter Pep Rally. For one of the activities people had to experience the difficulty of carrying around a full jerrycan; something that women and children have to do for miles each day where there is no access to clean drinking water. At the end, there was another miracle minute to see how much each grade could raise in 60 seconds.

Key Leader Key Leader is Kiwanis International's leadership education program for high school students. Our LTG, Steph Shen, got to attend the program December 1-3 and had the opportunity to make friends from all across New Jersey. Through the program, you experience the importance of teamwork and become an expert on leadership. Keay Leader is open to any student in grades 9-12 and is an amazing experience for everyone involved.

Movie Service Night On December 19th Interact and Key Club hosted a movie night which also served as an oppurtunity to create holiday cards for veterns thorugh Operation Gratitude. We also collected over $200 for UNICEF.

Over 200 Par High students came to the Service Night!
