THE IBIZA SUMMER SO FAR
THE IBIZA SUMMER SO FAR Lots of new underground nights! While the EDM party scene seems saturated and relies on more or less the same big names and their established nights, the underground once again sees an influx of new nights and some bigger and smaller DJs trying to stand on their own feet. Massive turmoil was caused by the appearance of HYTE on the island by not only offering Loco Dice and Maceo Plex as tasty Amnesia headliners but also their huge roster of in-demand artists. While it’s great to have such an overwhelming choice as an underground music fan, it leads to a dilution of a finite scene and consequently some nights are lacking energy due to low numbers turning up.
“HechoPolvo …” by Matthias Daniel
This is what the Spanish say when describing a feeling of utter exhaustion, usually but not exclusively caused by a giant hangover after parties. We here at the Clubbing Bible respect our hangovers, and while not exactly enjoying them we are treating them for what they are – an unmistaken sign of a good party of the fun that we had the night(s) before. As you are reading this we are deep into the second half of the season already and this year we expect the Ibiza summer leaving us even more hecho polvo than some of the others have, as we can look back at some
6
TheClubbingBible.Net
turbulent and packed few months of great music. 2015 is marked by three distinct trends: Back2back everywhere! We don’t know who started it, but DJ friends and partners in crime teaming up on the party-crowd to combine their skills is quite en vogue this season. Some say it was Ushuaia’s opening party (with a line-up including only b2b sessions) that set the trend, others maintain that it was only Ushuaia’s talent to pick up on already existing fads that made them put up these artists - fact is, we saw the most curious
combinations in the booth: From the obvious like Richie Hawtin b2b Dubfire (ENTER), to the surprising ones like Sven Väth b2b Solomun (Cocoon) and bizarre combos like Umek b2b Coyu (Music is Revolution). So it’s also quite fitting that it was exactly in this season that Darius Syrossian launched his own party together with Santé and Sidney Charles – DO NOT SLEEP: A night that relies so heavily on the infamous b2b2b sessions of the three close friends and colleagues. Which leads us to...
The return of true house music! With Hard Times at Privilege, Glitterbox at Space or Red Light at Sankeys it is the summer of true and classic house making a triumphant and much-needed return. How great it is to treat our bleeding ears to some vocal-house and true anthems with an experienced and slightly more mature crowd, who is not keen on the next one night stand but on enjoying a great night out with friends, reminiscing with legends like Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Kevin Saunderson, Hercules and Love Affair or David Morales. Enjoy the rest of the season and don’t feel too much hecho polvo! Hasta la vista!

INTERVIEW
INTERVIEW Federico Grazzini is a name you’ll be hearing a lot this summer in Ibiza. His long-standing association with The Zoo Project will see him resuming his unique relationship with the crowd at the openair fiesta throughout the season as well as gigs at several other iconic Ibiza venues. With a style that fuses elements of funk with house and techno, Fede has steadily become a regular feature in clubs throughout his native Italy and beyond including a residency at Cocorico in Riccione. We caught up with him to talk Zoo, Ibiza and influences. Tell us about your first musical memories. I‘ve always been attracted by black music, funk over all. I‘ve studied guitar when I was really young, but when I realized I was more interested to the wha wha effect than to the instrument itself, I discovered the electronic planet. And how did you get into DJing? Where was your first gig? I got in contact with the “vinyl world” in 1993, a friend of my father had a little radio station, and I was allowed to play in the recording room, I learned there how to spin records. My first gig was in a summer club around my hometown. Ibiza seems to have played a big role in your development as a DJ, when did you first come to the island? I first come on 1998, I was kidnapped by the atmosphere of the island. For a young music lover it was so exciting to have the chance to listen to all the “masters” during the same week in amazing clubs, and not only in clubs. Pre-parties in

the small bars of the old port, beach parties, villas and other beautiful venues like caves in hidden places. Would you say the music you heard on the island was a key influence on your sound? I can definitely say that Ibiza influenced my style in productions, and my way to play too. The melting pot that you can absorb from all the different cultures that you can constantly breathe, comes out on your artistic works.
12
TheClubbingBible.Net
You have a long standing association with The Zoo Project in Ibiza. Tell us about how you got involved with the crew there. I met the crew during their first full season, attracted by the particular concept of the party, it was even more surprising once I got in to the location. Chatting with them during the following winter, sharing music and visions, we discovered that we where on the same wave, and everything started naturally.
You‘ve been a regular feature at the Zoo ever since. People often talk about The Zoo Project in terms of a festival as opposed to a club night. How would you compare playing events there as opposed to other parties? To play in a Zoo Project event is an experience. Open air parties, expecially daytime, are always particular, but this is special. Everybody in the crowd is totally integrated in the soul of the party, if you know how to get them, it‘s an unforgettable trip.
The Zoo Project are one of the few places on the island making genuinely underground bookings, free from the pressures of the billboard scene. What‘s your thoughts on the state of Ibiza‘s music scene these days? In Ibiza there is something for everybody, that‘s why I love this place. I think it‘s really important to have a place, like the Zoo Project and a few more, where you can listen to upcoming artist, fresh acts, and real underground legends. Billboard scene is important too, actually

OF KINGS & VAGABONDS LUCIANO’S AMAZING JOURNEY
Dust off your top hats! Re-adjust your eyeliner - and yes, I`m also talking to you, gentlemen: The Vagabundos are back in town. After a hiatus of almost two years Luciano is bringing his original party theme back for another season in Ibiza. The Genevan is ready for the next chapter in his illustrious island-history, once again taking on the beloved role as head-gipsy for the Ibizan summer 2015, this time at Space. Luciano, who was groomed on DC10’s and Cocoon’s dance floors on the island for years, started his first own residency back in 2010. The venue came as a surprise to many - as

Pacha then was only popular for rather commercial music. The new Vagabundo-concept took off, making Luciano a household-name on the island while making Pacha a credible place for underground sounds again, courtesy of the club’s musical manager Danny Whittle. After three seasons at Pacha and a rather uninspired foray into the luckless Booom in 2013, Luciano retired the brand in 2014 to return to the Cocoon guys for a special residency on Monday nights at Amnesia, fittingly called ‘Origins’. When after the season it became pretty clear that Luciano would like to stand on his own feet again in 2015 the rumour of a return to Pacha spread like a wildfire. When Amnesia in a bizarre social-media posting
announced Luciano’s return to the San Rafael venue confusion was at a peak but only days later the DJ proved everybody wrong in confirming his move to Space in Playa d’en Bossa, a club which he already knows well from sessions with friend and partner in crime Richie Hawtin. Now, with the first memorable nights under the belt and the season at its peak expect utter carnage for Vagabundos Sundays when Luciano is confirmed for each and every August date in the main room. Support comes from fellow Vagabundos who have remained faithful to the brand for years like Michel Cleis for August 16, Franco Cinelli on August 23 and, now Tribal Sessions resident, Argy on August 30, with one of his few appearances outside of Sankeys this year. Classic techno fans should also look out for August 9 when the Kosmik Messenger Stacey Pullen is

confirmed to play before Luciano. Of course also the terrace will be open on Sundays with legends like Carl Craig and Derrick May on August 9, or Erick Morillo and Deep Dish on August 23. (The September line up was still kept as a secret in the moment when this magazine issue has been sent to print.) But Luciano wouldn’t be Luciano if he was content with only one party. His popular Destino residency continues this summer as well with four more dates at the gorgeous, Pacha-owned venue in Talamanca. Luciano will play daytime, around the pool on August 13 and 27, September 27 and October 2 for the closing party. Supporting line up is still TBC but enjoying the Latin-infused techno and house sounds of Luciano in the open air,

during a balmy night with friends has become something of an Ibizan must and is something you should not miss when you have the chance. A true Vagabundo never stays in one place for long, and if someone has proven himself an Ibizan Vagabundo in the truest sense of the word then it is Luciano. So as comfortable as he’s already made himself at Space and Destino we here at The Clubbing Bible would be very surprised if the adventurous vagrant settled there for good. Only time will tell… Somos Vagabundos, todos vamos, todos vamos a bailar!

INTERVIEW INTERVIEW WITH MOOD RECORDS LABEL BOSS
NICOLE MOUDABER Welcome back on the island, Nicole. Once again you are joining The Revolution at Space. You and Carl Cox go back a long way, right? What do you remember about your first few encounters? I was so scared on my first Space gig (Summer 2009) when Carl invited me to play with him. Obviously I didn’t have much experience being on stage in front of a sea of people, it was very overwhelming. I remember I was in the office and said to Carl “omg I’m so scared“ and I will never forget his answer“ what, don’t be silly, just get out there, do your thing and they will love you” I haven’t looked back since. What is it about the party at Space that makes you return year after year? I return because Carl invites me every year! I’m part of his family, playing Space on his night is a whole different experience. The energy on that night is second to none, you have to be there to feel what I’m talking about. The fire is there, whether he’s on or his guests are on it’s total FIRE. And it’s because of him. He treats his guests like kings and queens, they are the star of the show, and this requires a LOT of confidence and I have not seem this with ANY DJ so far. To give the torch to the DJs and make them shine without any ego takes a lot of confidence, besides he has nothing to prove he’s the father of them all, no questions about that.

INTERVIEW What about the environment that Space Ibiza provides, why do you think it’s still considered the best club in the world by many? It’s been around for years, people from all over the world know about it, they read about it and experienced it. I have to say the aura Space has stems from years ago, when it used to be a day club, the terrace had no roof and the parties were legendary. It still carries that echo from back then. Will you get time off in Ibiza, and what are your plans then on our beautiful island? Unfortunately this year I won’t have my boat in the water, because I will be in and out all summer, I won’t have the luxury I had in the past to relax and spend time in the sea… Maybe next year I can plan it better! You got Nigerian roots, and there is a lot of talk about the emerging African market for electronic music. Do you think techno and the underground could really take off in Nigeria for instance? I don’t think so. Nigeria has it’s own culture and they’re not interested in venturing out. We should join them in this case, integrate with their culture and learn from it. The last time I was there with my father before he passed away, I got to meet Seun Kuti, Fela Kuti’s son, and I have to say, my sound is very much African! We are constantly chatting and hopefully one day we will make music together. What is your own personal take on techno these days? Still as fresh as it was only some time ago or has it grown a bit stale in your opinion? Stale? It depends what you’re listening to really. there’s a lot of imitations out there, from music to DJs. I see it and it’s ridiculous. Not everyone is unique unfortunately. I see DJs wanting to be Carl Cox or Richie

INTERVIEW it’s not played on mainstream radio. The subculture is growing and it’s here to stay. I see it when I play, sometimes I venture out and play some obscure records but they way I play them and program them into my sets, makes it accessible. Just because it’s not talked about in main stream press doesn’t mean it’s not there. When we play at festivals of 50K people of banging techno, selling out shows around the world can only mean it’s popular. The reaction of people is so intense and overwhelming, it’s actually a stamp of “ we love it” written all over it.
Hawtin, it’s so obvious and very funny actually. I have a saying I abide by “only dead fish go with the flow”. I always went against the grain, since childhood, I refuse to conform. Musically I always want to do different things, push boundaries and there’s loads more to do. There are lot of copies out there but also incredible minds and musical talent, you just need to be in it to know who are the ones that really stand out. It’s like the art world - you have decorative art and real art, you just need to dig a bit more to find the credible ones. The explosion of dance music brings more and more new people into the underground scene as well, looking for something different. What impact has this on the dance floors where you are playing? Which makes it over ground now, however
22
TheClubbingBible.Net
What can we expect from your imprint MOOD records over the summer? Any releases of yourself? Any artist we should keep an eye on specifically? I have my BREED EP dropping mid September with myself and Skin from Skunk Anansie coming out on MOOD - we have 2 videos done already, a launch party at Space Ibiza August 25 on the terrace - 3 hour takeover set. This is a major project I’ve been working on for almost a year and half now and I’m super excited about it. Working with an established artist like Skin certainly is the next level for me, it was an amazing journey. You should also look out for releases from new artists PAWSA, Marino Canal and Wade on MOOD coming out throughout the summer. We are looking forward to your set at Music is revolution. What would you recommend how to spend the day in Ibiza before partying with Nicole Moudaber? There’s only one way in my book - in the sun!! Oil / dip / roast / toast / dip / oil / REPEAT.

CHAD
INTERVIEW WITH
ANDREW Hi Chad, great to hear from you. You are originally based in Florida. But in 2012 you said to yourself “You know what?! I’m moving over to Ibiza to spend the summer there”. What made you do that? Haha…I wish I could say it was that easy of a decision. The idea to move to Ibiza was at a point in my life where I really had to choose what the next step was going to be with this music thing. One of my best friends, Randall M. had a big part in convincing me this was the way we needed to go, and it was a move that had to happen soon. We haven’t looked back since.
What did you know about Ibiza before that? Ever been here before on holidays? The only things I knew of Ibiza were from poor quality YouTube videos and the constant buzz about this magical island for electronic music. I knew eventually I would end up in its belly, as I needed space and experience in order to develop myself as an artist. What were the absolute highs in Ibiza so far? I think the greatest high for me is standing in
26
TheClubbingBible.Net
the middle of the dancefloor and hearing my own track dropped at the peak hour of the night to a full club by an artist I have looked up to for years... it‘s a high like no other. And what about the lows? I quickly realized how naïve I was to the politics of this industry when I arrived in Ibiza. Since my first move here I have seen what happens behind the curtain and it is pretty mind blowing to witness the forces that really call the shots out here. You’ve got a residency at Sankeys on Sundays, you are playing the Capadi Rebels floor at Steve Lawler’s party. What kind of crowd do you have there and what sound works best at Sankeys? Viva Warriors has always been a magnet for high-energy crowds. Being able to host a weekly event with Capadi Rebels in The
Spektrum Room gives us a great opportunity to juxtapose ourselves and create a little bit more of an intimate environment with organic, experimental sounds that perhaps some party-goers are not accustomed to. Sankeys has established itself firmly in the Ibizan nighlife. From your point of view what does it add to this highly competitive market in Ibiza? Sankeys prides itself in providing a genuine clubbing experience. No fireworks. No glitter. It’s all about quality music. You are playing for the Rebel Boat Parties t h i s season. In what ways, if any at all,
does your set on a boat differ from one you would play later at Sankeys? My environment definitely plays a big role in the direction my set will go. Playing outside at the beach on the boat parties gives me an opportunity to hang up the dark, minimal sounds for a bit and play more fun, easy going tracks with some melody. With the beauty and fun of Ibiza around you, how do you motivate yourself for studio time? It is difficult to set aside time for the studio but worth it to be disciplined and get it done. There is too much inspiration on this island to let that opportunity pass. So any new releases and tracks coming out in the next time or what plans do you have for the rest of the summer? At the moment I have a vinyl track “Vesica” coming out next month on the label Rooted which is run by my friend Bolumar out of Barcelona. I also have a collaboration with my good friend Crocodile Soup coming out on Randall‘s new label “Thirteen” as limited vinyl release. Lastly I’ve been working very hard on another project for French imprint label Dissonant, so expect to hear news of that very soon. GOT SWAG?! Once you go black you never go back…
All of Ibiza is under the firm rule of the house and techno empire. All of Ibiza? No, because like the small, Gallic village of Asterix there is one special venue on our island that will not yield to peer pressure and against all trends puts up black music parties not just once or twice a week but opens its doors each and every night to hip hop and RnB loving holiday makers. The stylish 1200 capacity club in the very centre of Playa d’en Bossa is located in the cozy basement of the popular Hotel Garbi and distinguishes itself clearly and consciously from the neighbouring establishments. Concentrated solely on urban culture, it encompasses a broad spectrum of black music, from rap to trap, from hip hop to funk and oldschool. While the most popular clubs on the island are hangar-sized premises where a person can get lost in the crowd, Swag allows for more privacy and intimacy. That, plus its total dedication to the

previously underrepresented urban culture have been making Swag a truly outstanding nightlife spot this season and with great line ups already out for the second half of the summer this will be a box to be ticked in your holidays. With the Dutch DJ Irwan Swag has secured itself one of the trendiest and certainly one of the most eclectic DJs around for an exclusive Ibiza residency. Playing each and every Monday for the rest of the season Irwan will bring his trademark mixture of hip hop, house and RnB to the venue. Originating from the legendary Roxy club in Amsterdam Irwan is now playing festivals and clubs the world over, with his distinct style being more popular than ever before. And Irwan is not afraid of playing close to Ibiza icons like Paul van Dyk or Armin van Buuren as he is used to performing alongside these legends at reputable venues like Zouk in Kuala Lumpur. Yes, that’s how big Irwan actually is!
Tuesdays at Swag are all about the ladies, so expect hens nights and bigger groups of dressed-up party girls alike for this party where the team is not only predominantly involving female DJs but also putting up a production that’s radiating with cool feminine vibes! For Wednesdays a promoter from wellknown DJ Chuckie’s camp is taking over Swag with his Cirqus party, devoted to a hot mix of urban and electronic tunes. Also worth a mention is Thursdays night at Swag as with the Xcandalous promoter they turn into a gay-friendly and polysexual adventure-land with a sexy and deep urban soundtrack. Fridays are made for celebrity spotting in the jetset cosmopolitan crowd, as the Black List VIP Party requires reservation and has some A-list DJs as invited guests. urban venue for Saturdays, laying out their towels all over Swag in the wee morning hours: So expect the German promoter Soul2Soul throwing some outstanding black music parties with top nightclub and radio DJs taking care of the soundtrack. Residents for August and September include DJ Slick, DJ Rapture, DJ N-Zoo and Steve Money. Watch out for some of their seductive promo girls and boys on the beaches, parading and strutting their stuff with ghettoblasters on their shoulders, handing out wristbands for fair discounts to make you join them into Ibizas black music basement.
Not much persuasion will be needed on August 12th when global chart superstar Kevin Lyttle is announced to come to Swag for a very special live gig. The Caribbean Soca musician is mostly known for his hit record “Turn me on” when he hit the international charts for weeks, peaking within the top 10 in fifteen countries. So put on those jerseys, caps and sneakers – finally there’s a serious black music club on the island and it’s proven itself a competition already for Ibiza’s electro focussed superclubs.

week, predictably culminating in August. Black and white t-shirts and bags with HYTE logo has become the most coveted merchandise items among the islanders, and the laconic ‘blah blah blah’ motto spread all over social networks.
Every season in Ibiza has its principle success story, and for 2015 it is HYTE for sure. The renowned techno promoters came to conquer the island, taking over Wednesdays in Amnesia since June 6 till September 30 and bringing quite a few trumps up their sleeve – like, for example, the triumphant return of Loco Dice as their resident. The party created a roadblock since its very inception and has been going from strength to strength every
The upcoming two months will see many amazing sets by residents and numerous appearances of famous guest DJs. Maceo Plex will be playing on August 19, September 2 and 23, and Loco Dice will be smashing the terrace on August 5, 12 and 26 as well as ruling the main room on September 16. Pan-Pot will be setting the main room on fire on August 19, September 2 and 23, and on

August 12 Chris Liebing will deliver a massive 5-hour set in the main room. A signature feature of HYTE Ibiza are regular lives by such incredible artists as Premiesku on August 5, Stephan Hinz on August 19, Henrik Schwarz on August 26 and Guti on September 16. The line-up for the epic closing, that will take place predictably late in the season on September 30, is yet to be announced. Following the traditions of Ibiza techno culture, the hallmark performance of the night consists of dancers in blonde wigs and black costumes that leave not too much to imagination – these ladies’
Being a true and proper techno party, HYTE takes off late. Of course, the music is worthy and amazing since the very first minute, but the biggest heavyweights take to the decks no earlier than 4am. However, you’d better not linger too much to arrive – given the fact that Amnesia now is one of the most successful clubs on the island, it might easily get so packed in August that it would be simply not possible to enter. For those who can’t wait too long there is HYTE radio show on Ibiza Global Radio that starts every Wednesday at 20.00 and has already featured mixes by such artists as Tobi Neumann, WHO and Caleb Calloway. Just a debutant in its first year, HYTE have already solidified its positions as one of the most significant techno events on the island, and the continuation of their story is bound to be even bigger and bolder.

sinners and winners! Repent at Eden deserves to be called one of the most exciting newcomer parties of Ibiza 2015. This event can boast of three big merits: innovative music policy, fabulously unusual concept, and the fact of taking place at Eden club. Happening every Sunday from July 5 till September 13, it invites all the sinners and winners to pray for their faults to be forgiven right in the middle of the dancefloor. Going under the motto “Techno is our religion!” Repent treats its guests with the sets by Harvey McKay, Marco Bailey, Sasha Carassi, Carlo Lio, Stefano Noferini, Pig & Dan and Secret Cinema. Weekly residents Highestpoint and Nightowl are accompanied by such renowned Ibiza DJs as

David Moreno and Miguel Garji. It’s true that this style of music has been enjoying extreme popularity on the island lately, but it would be just as square to say that there are too many shades of techno, and no two techno nights are the same. Here at Repent they preach a dark, energetic, high-octane breed of sound that makes people jump and encourages them to open up their souls. The musically diverse town of San Antonio with all its clubs and bars lacked this type of party until very recently, and now the gap is finally filled. The show at Repent is just as funny and impressive as you can imagine. Priests,
infernal nymphs and the death itself, in a black cloak and a big scythe, are dancing on podiums, providing an excellent performance that really stands out from what most other events have on offer. It looks macabre and amusing, sinister and droll at the same – just the proper mix you’d be looking for on a Sunday night. A few words need to be said about the club itself. In the last three years Eden, bearing the name of Gatecrasher for one summer, has been the dark horse of the island’s nightlife circuit. Speaking with no bias, now it’s one of the most beautiful and well equipped clubs of Ibiza and definitely has a great future ahead of him thanks to absolutely superb light and sound, two-level space and comfortably zoned dancefloor. The dark and stylish interior would do credit to a posh VIP club, yet at the same time makes a perfect match to underground music and vibes. If for some reasons you have been neglecting Eden lately (such as staying in Playa d’en Bossa, for example), it’s just the right moment to pay a due visit to this wonderful venue. And make sure that it will be Sunday night and Repent.

Ibiza is the place where past, present and future are all mixed together to involve the islanders in a magical game full of emotions and impressions. For party lovers in 2015, 1980’s looks like the most appealing decade – 90’s are yet too close, 60’s are too far, and the 80’s and spot on in the middle of imagination span. That was the time of happy disco, acid leggings, mad wigs, bright make-up and positive vibes without any hidden implication. Perfectly realising the nostalgic feel of the island, the team of Hard Rock hotel launched the much-needed Children of the 80’s party that takes place every Sunday from June 28 till September 13 from 7pm till midnight. Consider it as perfect pre-party for a full night of clubbing or the main entertainment in itself, this event is not to be missed at any cost. Judging by the experience of the previous years, it might be Solomun, Seth Troxler, tINI, DJ Sneak, Nicole Moudaber, Darius Syrossian, Miss Kittin or anyone else of the same caliber – do you feel excited enough to try your luck? Their sets are frequently broadcast on Ibiza Sonica Radio and Wunderground Music, which helps to deliver the sound of Cirque de la Nuit to the international audience consisting of those, who for some reasons can’t be in Ibiza right now – poor things.

The boat is leaving from Playa d’en Bossa jetty, which is a short walking distance away, just by Hotel Tres Carabelas. When at sea, you will be enjoying 3 hours of open bar that includes all of your favourite Balearic drinks, from beer to sangria and from mojito to champagne, everything offered by the hospitable waiters. I’m huddled on the dancefloor, glass of Sangria in one hand, a slice of fresh pineapple in the other, Es Vedra to my right, Ibiza to my left, the sun overhead and the sound of quality house music drifting on the sea breeze. Life is good! Very good! If only I could do this every Saturday... The Ibiza boat party has become a rite of passage for the thousands of party people who flock to the White Isle every week throughout the summer and Noah’s Ark, the official Zoo Project Boat Party, is one of the wildest in the Balearic waters. Each and every Saturday, hundreds of ravers board the ark, hitting the high seas of the
Mediterranean on a voyage to the mystical island of Es Vedra accompanied by a Zoo entourage of acrobats, dancers, a couple of gorillas and the occasional panda. The Zoo on the waves is not for the faint-hearted! Each week, a selection of Zoo artists play alongside special guest DJs providing a bespoke soundtrack of house and techno. When I set sail with the Noah’s Ark crew for this year’s opening party back in May, none other than Secondcity captained the DJ booth. The UK house producer, best known for last year’s summer anthem ‘I Wanna Feel’ served up the perfect dose of basstinged grooves occasionally going back-to-back with rising Liverpool talent Kydus.
The boat is fully equipped with a Function One sound system so there’s no holding back whatsoever when it comes to sound. By the time we hit Es Vedra, the boat is truly rocking! Free food and drink is included with every ticket as well as free entry, transport and queue jump for the legendary daytime fiesta The Zoo Project so there’s none of the usual discussions afterwards about where to keep the party going. Everyone on board moves as one to the Zoo so before you know it you’re giving it everything, hands in the air, lost across four open-air arenas of music and performance. All in all, Noah’s Ark is the perfect way to start your Zoo experience. Food, drink, dancing and a dip in the ocean before heading straight to the old abandoned Zoo to get down with nature under the sun and stars. Noah’s Ark sets sail every Saturday from San Antonio harbor until 26th September.

Mendez, Kan.e alongside My Lost Society, Markus Wesen, Adriano Rosso and many more. The Capadi revolutionaries are going into their fifth summer on our beloved pirate island, which is a reliable sign for the quality of services offered and accomplished success, especially in Ibiza‘s fast paced party scene. Against an uber- commercial, bling-bling society the Capadi boat sets sail every Tuesday and Friday riding the underground-wave into the sunset until September.
Well known DJs from Cocoon, Cadenza, Desolat and also Minus have sailed with the Capadi boat. ‚Thank god we are rebels‘ is a forward thinking concept and it is this progressive flair that has made the rebels catamaran party one of Ibiza‘s most sought after boats. The rebels do not believe in trashy funky house and cheesy chill-out: The Capadi boat runs on propelling Tech house.
Resident DJ Kan.e who has been with the Rebels since launching over five years ago says: “There is a different feeling when playing on the Rebels catamaran out at sea compared to in a club. The sun is always shining and having the backdrop of the sun setting in the ocean at Es Vedra is an amazing experience you can only find in Ibiza. Playing to a party with only 150 guests makes the whole experince a little bit more intimate too. I always look forward to my gigs with the Rebels.” Expect five hours of sea, sun, and music for a rebellious trip of fun. Departures: Every Tuesday and Friday at 17:00 from Marina Botafoch.
