Cover Story

Celebrate National SteakHouse Month at Prime Cincinnati

S

teakhouses in America represent the great fellowship of this country. How, you ask? Because everything ties together directly from farm to table. This was important to Chef Heine of Prime Cincinnati, who fostered a relationship with the national brand, Certified Angus Beef®. The company was founded in 1978 by farmers and ranchers who wanted to make the juiciest, most tender cuts of beef in the world. They created a system requiring the Angus beef must meet 10 exacting standards in order to be labeled as Certified Angus Beef®. Ranchers and farmers work hard to make their Angus cattle the best. Even so, only 3 in 10 meet the high standards of Certified Angus Beef® and that is the quality that Chef Heine provides at Prime Cincinnati. By utilizing local ranchers and farmers, you can be assured that the steak you are enjoying is

the freshest possible. Not only that, but by supporting your local SteakHouse you are supporting your local farmers and ranchers. To add to the enticement, June is national SteakHouse month and Prime Cincinnati is celebrating by featuring special cuts on a SteakHouse Month Menu. The menu will include options like a 32oz Porterhouse, 40oz Tomahawk, or Twin Filets with African Lobster Tails. The menu is designed to be shared by two for just $180. This brand and these cuts cannot be found in your local grocery store. Plus, Chef Heine says, “We’ve got the grill and cooking techniques that you can’t replicate at home.” Let’s all find a reason to celebrate the things that make this country great. Get out and support your local SteakHouse. www.primecincinnati.com

Do you have Pandemic Fatigue? Are you just DONE? Here’s your CURE!

L

ive life is gearing up from zero to 60! There is cautious optimism due to the vaccines and cases lowering, in the TriState that live events are returning, quickly. Entertainment and events will have a different look and feel. Don’t worry, this is a good thing! We have all had time to learn how to do business different but better. Covid-19 abruptly upended our lives, last year and separated us from our routine and the daily events that normally runs our lives! Every part of our life-work, school, dates, social gatherings, holidays, ceremonies travel, and events we plan for and look forward to, was taken from us. The pandemic also devastated the sports, entertainment and event business. Business owners wondered how to stay relevant and work in this new world. As an event company owner, I can tell you what businesses have learned about you… We have learned that toilet paper is priceless. 12 KEYCINCINNATI.COM

We have learned the true meaning of essential. We have learned how to zoom in our yoga pants and boxers. We have learned that you really miss dancing! Its time to take off the yoga pants and put that party dress you didn’t get to wear last year and learn to walk in the tall heels again. Have a funky Tea Party w your crew, rent the limo for a night of Romeo & Julieta smokes and swirl your Woodford Reserve, served in the best Glencairn Glass, with your boys. Go to that non-profit fundraiser that needs your support to help your fellow human. Get your party on. Party like it’s 2021. Your CURE is being a part of your community. All about Osteoporosis

W

hat Should I Know About Osteoporosis? Osteoporosis is a disease of the bones in which they become weak and lead to an increased risk of fractures, or broken bones. And people with osteoporosis will most commonly break the hip, spine, and wrist bones. While osteoporosis is the most common bone-related disease, it is often called a “silent disease” because it can progress without any symptoms until a fracture or similar injury occurs. How Can I Manage Osteoporosis? Increasing your calcium intake can help protect against osteoporosis later in life. In addition to milk and dairy products, calcium can also be found in most green leafy vegetables. Vitamin D also plays an important role because it helps your body absorb calcium and can improve your bone health. You can find vitamin D in milk, eggs, liver, and fatty fish such as salmon. Like muscles, your bones can also become stronger through exercise. Try weight-bearing or weight-resistance exercises such as walking, playing sports, or lifting weights. David B. Schwartz, MD Obstetrics & Gynecology
