SYNOPSIS
PROTAGONISTS OF ARCHITECTURE
M
y affair with architecture is not rooted in pleasing forms or dramatic cantilevers, but rather in its drawings. I love it when lines on a page describe an inhabitable space, an atmosphere we can feel, or a material we can almost touch. Like Mario J. Romañach said, “ ” Drawings can represent the world not as it is now, but for what it ought image consumption, I can imagine what it would be like if people outside of the design community could love and relate to drawings the same way we relate to the characters in a screenplay. In this portfolio, drawings are the protagonists of architecture. Engaging with your imagination is their purpose. They will align your goals with theirs as you slowly suspend your judgment of the world around you. Across containers, and overcoming boundaries concerning urban natures, shared housing, historical artifacts, and the changing environment. This visual journey will seduce authenticity to the precedent of architecture, a nearly three-dimensional sense of something emergent and these drawings will exhaust their powers to achieve their personal goals. Watch them design fantastic futures for us in a time when we feel that we may not be able to. Presenting you, the Protagonists of Architecture. Are you watching closely?
