BISHOP KEVIN M. HARRISON, SR.

evin M. Harrison, Sr. is one of the “Sons of Grace,” being under the tutelage and leadership of Bishop David L. Ellis, the late pastor of Greater Grace Temple (City of David) of Detroit, Michigan. Bishop Ellis recognizing Bishop Harrison’s gift to minister, sent him in 1992 to the city of Thomasville, Georgia, where the ministry thrived with great success. He was the pastor of Life, Power and Praise Apostolic Church until he received the call to pastor the Gethsemane Apostolic Church of God (Detroit) in September 2008. During his tenure in the state of Georgia (1992-2008), Bishop Harrison worked tirelessly in the Thomas County community. His vision of reaching out to the lost allowed him to pioneer activities across the community which was greatly impacted then and still witnessed as of today. Bishop Harrison received certification in Leadership Development and Youth Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. Bishop Harrison also received his certification in Leadership and Executive Business Management from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. While pastoring in the state of Michigan, he also served as a District Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) organization in which he governed the spiritual and leadership direction of 11 churches. In 2011, Bishop Harrison instituted the Southeastern Michigan Apostolic Bible Institute and served as its President. The institute is a satellite of the PAW Aenon Bible College and has trained over 100 ministers, who have received their credentials with the Northern District Council and their license through the PAW. Bishop Harrison currently serves the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World on the international level as the Adjutant General of Ecclesiastical Protocol as well as Adjutant to the Board of Bishops. He has a passion for teaching and training in leadership and has done so for the past 19 years to churches of all sizes. Kto strengthen leadership skills by helping participants to discover both relational and managerial skills. On Friday, February 7, 2014, Bishop Harrison and Lady Deborah D. Harrison were elected to become Pastor and First Lady of the historic Grace Apostolic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since moving his residence to the city of Indianapolis, he has become a member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the 100 Black Men as well as a Police Chaplain for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. Bishop Harrison was installed as Executive Dean of Aenon Bible College in October 2017, after having worked a few months in that capacity. In May 2020, Bishop Harrison was elevated to the sacred office of Diocesan Bishop in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and assigned to the 47th Episcopal District of Kenya District Council. Bishop Harrison was selected to serve as a Vice President in the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Indianapolis (IMA of Indianapolis) under the leadership of Dr. Lionel Rush in August 2021. A believer of continuous learning, he is currently pursuing a degree in Urban Leadership. Bishop Harrison is truly a 21st century leader. He is the loving husband of Deborah and they have been married for 44 years. He is the proud father of four sons, two daughters, 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. If there were three phrases to describe Bishop Harrison’s approach to serving the congregation, they would be; Love God, Love God’s people and Love yourself. All of the above-mentioned being seen and demonstrated through the lens of Apostolic truth and practices.

BISHOP ERROL O’SAVIO

n ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Bishop Errol O’Savio has served as Pastor of the Mt. Olivet Apostolic Faith Church, in the city of Mt. Vernon, New York, since 1999, upon the retirement of the Founding Pastor, the Late Rev. Beatrice Bostic who departed this life at the age of 102. Bishop Errol O’Savio holds Bachelor degrees in Business Administration with concentration in Finance from Pace University and in Pastoral Ministry from Aenon Bible College, and a Doctor of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian University. Retirement from the computer environment where he was employed as a Systems Analyst, opened the door for him to use his skills as he accepted pastoral responsibilities. He believes that using the power of the pulpit he can reach the lost, and disadvantaged as he emphasizes on the youth, whom he believes is the “Church of Today.” In the New York State\Ontario Council, he served 23 consecutive years in elected office; 9 years as General Secretary, 6 years as Vice Chair and 8 years as Chairman. With his background in Finance and Problem Management, he was instrumental along with others in leading the revamping of the New York State Council from a notebook environment to a complete computerized environment. He serves on the Executive Board and formerly served as a District Leader.

AOn the International level of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Bishop O’Savio has served as 1st Vice President in the International Missions Department. Previous positions held included Treasurer, and 2nd Vice President. His travel to spread the Word of God has taken him to Jamaica, West Indies (his hometown), Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Mexico, Israel throughout the United States of America and The Republic of Zimbabwe. Bishop Errol O’Savio has served in the Mt. Vernon community on many Boards including the United Black Clergy, a coalition of Clergy from the county of Westchester where he has held positions of Treasurer and Vice President. As an Executive Board Member of the Naomi House, a shelter for battered women, he was instrumental in ensuring the safety of abused women. He has received many awards and recognition from Mayors, Governors, Congress, Head of State and President of the United States. He is sustained and balanced by his loving family; wife of 45 years, Suffragan Bishop Judith Bostic O’Savio, who serves as Executive Pastor of the Mt. Olivet Ministry, daughter, Desiree, son, Alexander, six grandchildren; Dominic, Demetrius, Dallas, Madison, Blessan, and Noah along with a vibrant Mt. Olivet Apostolic Faith Church membership.

BISHOP DEREK G. PIERSON

r. Derek G. Pierson is the Senior Pastor of the Holy Lighthouse Church, Inc. in New Rochelle, NY. He has served this church since 1997. Under his prayerful leadership, the church has demonstrated steady growth and financial stability. Under his careful guidance the church has purchased its current facility, which is valued at approximately 2 million dollars. Dr. Pierson was saved at an early age and called to the ministry at the young age of 12. His ministry has afforded him the opportunity to evangelize the continental USA and overseas. He has served as the Asst. Pastor of Emmanuel Temple Church of Brooklyn for approximately thirteen years under the leadership of the Bishop (Suffragan) Tommy L. Seals. Before answering the call to full time ministry, he enjoyed a successful career as a Director for a major insurance company in New York. His responsibilities included management of several managers and supervisors and ensuring that approximately 270 hospitals and facilities in New York State received reimbursement for services rendered. Dr. Pierson is an ordained minister affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. He has served the New York State Council of the P.A of W in many capacities for 30 years and remains faithful to his assignments. In June 2011, Dr. Pierson was elevated to the ecclesiastical office of Bishop (Suffragan) in the New York State Council of the P.A. of W under the leadership of Bishop Carl E. Lewis. Dr. currently serves as an official board member of the Aenon Bible College of the P.A.of W. In January 2020, Dr. Pierson was elevated to the sacred office of Diocesan Bishop in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and assigned to the 62nd Episcopal District, Uganda District Council. His duties include overseeing a fellowship of over 90 churches in the Republic of Uganda, East Africa.

DDr. Pierson is a community minded person. As a community leader, the church has provided coats for the needy children, back packs for children returning to school and fed the hungry. In addition, the church has provided funds to support education in Africa, India, South America and the Philippines. He has served as the President of the Interdenominational Pastor’s Council of New Rochelle and currently remains very active with this organization. He currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Citizens for A Better New Rochelle, Vice President of the Coalition for Mutual Respect and Member of New Rochelle Ambulance Committee. For his contributions to the community, he has received several awards and citations. Academically, Dr. Pierson has earned a D.Min and ThD in Counseling Psychology and holds an Honorary Doctorate degree in Episcopal Studies. Dr. Pierson also was awarded a Masters in Chaplaincy for his committed work to helping others in need. Dr. Pierson is known as an anointed preacher, prolific teacher and holds credentials as a Certified Christian Counselor and as a Life Coach. Dr. Pierson is the author of three books entitled, The Master Came Looking for Me, Persuaded of Better Things and I Give You My Heart – I Give You My Love. Dr. Pierson has been happily wedded to Lady Sharon Pierson since 1985. They are the proud parents of two sons, Derek Jr. and Darien. He has one granddaughter, who he refers to as Princess P, Olivia Pierson. Together he and Lady Pierson have co-founded Selah Ministries, Inc. Selah Ministries is a unique teaching ministry which concentrates on assisting the believer in his Christian growth. They have traveled presenting real life, exciting and informative seminars to assist couples in their relationships.
