Options for ground transportation include a Uber, hotel shuttle, rideshare, or public transportation or rental car. General Board and Past Presidents will have car service pick-up based on your travel schedule.
REGISTRATION
Bring your confirmation letter with the QR code to registration or have the letter available to scan from your mobile device. Follow instructions to take your photo and print your badge. Registration is on the second level of the Marriott Marquis Houston Hotel beginning at 9AM Tuesday, July 11 and daily through Friday from 8AM - 5PM.

The Conclave is planned as the biennial meeting of Phi Beta Sigma’s collegiate and professional members from around the globe to conduct the organization’s business, develop programmatic aims, develop future leaders and celebrate organizational and individual achievements. As such, we are the proud men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, the sons of three great MEN. Therefore, we must carry ourselves in the BEST of CONDUCT at all times. As Sigma men we will:
• Respect, at all times, ourselves, fellow Brothers, Sisters, guests attending our events and other hotel guests.
• Respect the property in the hotels and the Houston, Texas community.
• Obey the laws in the Houston, Texas community.
• Be ON TIME for ALL planned events.
DOORS OPEN TIMES
Doors will open 30 minutes prior to all public events. You MUST present your Registration Badge, All-Access Badge or Event-Brite ticket to gain admittance.
Phi Beta Sigma members can begin to pick up their Mens Wearhouse Tuxedos Rentals beginning Thursday, July 13th at the Marriott Marquis Downtown Hotel (host hotel). Tuxedo GROUP #12505179, White Dinner Jacket #1191, black pants, white shirt, blue bow tie of your choice. The exact location for tuxedo pick-up is forthcoming. Return on-site, before you leave Sunday

Connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Marriott Marquis is comprised of 3 different hotels. Located in downtown Houston, at 1777 Walker Street, Houston, Texas 77010, the Marriott Marquis is just steps from the ballpark, a short trolley ride to many restaurants and attractions and 20 minutes from Houston Intercontinental International Airport and Houston Hobby Airport.

Conclave Houston 2023 is a full week of exciting events, carefully planned for the ultimate Brotherhood Experience. Here are just a few highlights as you prepare to engage in the largest conference in Phi Beta Sigma’s history!
TUESDAY
Opening of the new Sigma Exposition One hundred vendors offering an array of arts and crafts, Sigma paraphernalia and services will be participating in this year’s marketplace. Our corporate service partners will be corporate service partners will be accepting resumes and conducting job interviews onsite. We will even have the U.S. Department of State onsite to expedite passport processing.
THURSDAY
Breakfast with the Candidates will offer attendees a chance to dialog with those members who are seeking elected positions of leadership within the Fraternity. Not one, but TWO All-White Parties! The Texas-shaped pool at the Marriott Marquis Hotel will serve as one location, while the other is on the hotel’s fourth floor foyer.
FRIDAY
We’ll rise early to acknowledge the passing of beloved Brothers and rededicate ourselves to the mission and goals of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity during the Omega Chapter & Rededication Ceremonies.
The Fraternity will award $40,0000.00 to the collegiate and alumni winners of the Billboard Jackson Entrepreneurial Competition
The biennial International Awards Luncheon will acknowledge great performance of duty by members and chapters in the fraternity’s four programmatic areas. Seven talented ladies, represented each region, will compete for the crown, title and scholarship during the Miss International Phi Beta Sigma Pageant.
The Fraternity’s “Best of the Best” performing chapters, representing the seven regions will be competing for the title, trophy and prize money at the International Step & Stroll Championship
The Annual Demetrius C. Newton Golf Classic will tee-off at 7AM with golfers from across the nation competing for top prizes.
Sigma is always committed to service, the Community Service Project features our commitment to the American Cancer Society Blood Drive, as well as the Teddy Bears & Ties donations to benefit the Texas Children’s Hospital.
WEDNESDAY
Introducing the Sigma General Sessions. These conference presentations will provide direct contact with our community service partners, corporate partners and new sponsors. It is an opportunity for Brothers to ask questions and network with CEOs and Fortune 500 leaders who collaborate with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Learn how chapters can directly benefit from national partnerships.
D9 Sororities hosting Sigma Men. Each night of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the NPHC sorority counterparts will celebrate the Men of Sigma during a Sigma Hospitality Reception.
SATURDAY
There will be a dedicated lunch-and-learn for Collegiate Brothers. The session highlight will cover how to start investing in future job and financial opportunities. There will also be an opportunity to develop mentorship with successful Sigma Alumni members in their career fields of interest.
Donned in white tuxedo jackets and traditional Orchid Leis, the entire Brotherhood and Guests celebrate the closing of a historic conference at the Grand Orchid Gala. End the week of festivities with the time-honored traditional Grand March!

Just in case you need to purchase that “must-have” item, remember to stop by the Blu Culture Collections Store in the Sigma Exposition, located in the Houston Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Houston Hotel.”
