Prayer of Confession
Redeeming God, we admit to You this day that we are a people who can make mountains out of molehills. The struggles we face in life are often magnified by our worries, and our little fears grow out of proportion. Forgive us for surrendering to our anxieties rather than faithfully turning to You in trust. We confess that we give our fears more power than they have. Help us to see You as the One who can overcome all our worries and replace them with hope. Hear now the confessions we offer in silence…
Milestones
Just as families keep in touch about joys and sorrows, our church family at Peachtree wants to do the same. During your prayers this week, we ask you to lift up these people to God.

Barry Gaeddert, Ph.D. CANDIDATE FOR ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Barry Gaeddert is honored to be called as the Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. He grew up in a Christian home in Kansas, and has served as a Presbyterian pastor for nearly 30 years. Barry received a B.S. in Information Systems from The University of Tulsa, an M.Div. with a concentration in Christian Formation and Discipleship from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from St. Louis University. He has served as an associate pastor in Hutchinson, Kansas and Chesterfield, Missouri as well as the senior pastor of an international, ex-patriate congregation in London, England. God called Barry to the mission field in Rabat, Morocco where he taught English as a Foreign Language and invested his life relationally in the lives of Moroccans who God brought in to his life. He is now eager to invest his life in the leaders, members and guests of Peachtree Church who desire to know, love, follow and serve Jesus. He considers it an incredible privilege to walk on life’s journey with anyone seeking to grow in their faith. Barry is a widower and the father of two sons—Zachary, 25, an economic consultant in London and Micah, 22, a financial advisor in Columbia, Maryland. God has given Barry the privilege of travelling extensively across five continents. He loves ordering and sharing a mezze platter and good red wine with anyone who is so inclined. His other interests include reading historical fiction, engaging in stimulating dialogue with open-minded people, and eating ice cream, any flavor, any style, any time.
