ALL MISSION. ALL IN.

Dear Peachtree Family, I want to personally invite you on a journey together to join Christ daily in the restoration of all things. Our mission was never intended to be just a slogan for our walls, but instead, a daily call upon the hearts of all our people. At Peachtree, everything we do is to further the mission of Christ…All Mission, All In! As my wife, Kelly, and I consider the opportunity to give back to God, we can’t help but consider the grace that He has provided our family. We are so grateful to give back as His wise stewards for all that has been entrusted to us. When I consider our entire Church family to be “All Mission, All In”, I can’t help but get excited about our future, especially the future generations that will benefit from our current faithfulness and generosity. As you look over the following pages, I challenge you to dream big, to engage completely, and to celebrate what God has prepared Peachtree to accomplish. Celebrate and put into practice our GrACE habits, the mission measures we have been contemplating over the past weeks. Gratitude, Availability, Curiosity, and Encouragement are the path that will lead us to the realization of God’s calling on Peachtree. Most importantly, realize we need every family that calls Peachtree home to participate in this grand plan of the restoration of all things. May it be so.

Dr. Richard Kannwischer Senior Pastor

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. – 2 CORINTHIANS 13:11

GRAT Set it

EFUL Aside PR AY ER FU L LY CO N S I D ER ‌ when we give to God and those gifts are motivated by gratitude born out of love, God is glorified. Our gifts are a measure of our gratitude. When we understand that He actually wants something for us as opposed to something from us, we begin to understand the beauty and power of sacrifice. Setting aside what He provides to accomplish His purpose becomes a blessing.

Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. – DEUTERONOMY 19:2

AVAI Take

LABLE a Knee PR AY ER FU L LY CO N S I D ER … your availability to God with all that He entrusts to you. Do you make your time, talent, and treasure available? Do you consider the opportunity to participate in the mission of God’s church an honor and privilege? Search your mind and spirit concerning your giving, and in prayer, ask that God increase your faith and willingness to accomplish Kingdom work.

Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. – PSALM 25:4–5

CUR Set

IOUS a Goal PR AY ER FU L LY CO N S I D ER … the impact Peachtree will have in our community and around the world when everyone who calls Peachtree home participates in our annual stewardship program. The first step in achieving your ambition is setting a goal. What are your goals for 2020? Will you set a goal to increase your generosity for the Kingdom? Get curious with God about His desires and intentions for the resources, time, and talent He has given you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – JEREMIAH 29:11

ENCOU Beyond

RAGING Comfort Zone PR AY ER FU L LY CO N S I D ER … the encouraging promises of Jesus, where He guarantees our needs will be met when we order our priorities correctly. That means when we truly position His mission above our own, every need we have will be provided. That doesn’t mean every want will be fulfilled, but it is powerful encouragement to test the boundaries of our faith and move beyond our comfort zone. Hear His powerful persuasion from the Gospel of Matthew:

So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – MAT THEW 6:31–33

RING Love

A R O U N D T H E WO R L D

Dear Peachtree Family, It is with absolute pleasure Cindy and I return to Atlanta to serve together with you here at Peachtree Church. This is truly a special place and we have great memories from our time here nearly 20 years ago. All three of our children were born at Northside Hospital, and the relationships we shared with similar families learning to be a good dad/wife, husband/spouse, friend and faithful follower of Jesus Christ still are very much with us. We look forward to what God has for us in this next chapter serving together with you. And as your new Minister of Generosity and Stewardship, I can’t tell you how grateful we are to continue this journey in such a time as this. When I consider this entire Church family to be “All Mission, All In” I can’t help but agree with Rich on what a blessing it will be to embark upon this journey together. My prayer is that each of us prayerfully consider the GrACE habits we have outlined: set it aside, take a knee, set a goal, and move beyond our comfort zones in realizing the abundant life to restore all things back to the Giver of life. Serving together,

Shawn M. Reilly Minister of Generosity & Stewardship
